I was so excited for this book, and it's truly a great start, but........it's not the whole book, just a teaser..........now I'm more excited, but will have to wait until November!!!

I have adored this trilogy and was thrilled to receive this preview . The recap at it's start is particularly useful and the illustrations are looking great. I will be eagerly awaiting the full release of this title in November 2025 to complete the collection on my shelves and bring this thrilling tale to its epic conclusion.

I will open this review by saying that it covers only the approx. 200 page sample that I received and I will update with a review of the entire book sometime shortly after publication. Like any fans of the series, I'm sure, a chance at even the slightest peek at the end of Gabriel's story is something to jump at, and so I did. But this is also a masochistic venture for I am not satiated, just hungrier for more. The start of the third act of this series lived up to the previous two, it even slayed (literally). And, as for the illustrations, if the sampler is any indication, they are excellent. If the original artist could not finish the series for personal reasons, I think it was smart not to try to imitate their style but find an artist with their own flair to drawing these characters. Now, for anyone who enjoys a dark, severe narrative and has yet to start this series, you have time to catch up before November.

This book in its entirety is going to destroy me! I can’t wait for the full book. This series is incredible and I am feral for it! I love the way in which this story is written and this take on vampires is amazing. This is my most anticipated read of 2025!
