Thank you Netgalley, Bookouture and J M Dalgliesh for the eAudio of Homewrecker.
Narrated by Alison Campbell, Tamsin Kennard

This is a dual POV psychological thriller of a family who has a school age teen, Katie who needs to be homeschooled. Deena hires a tutor who seems to gel on with Katie immediately as well as Sophie's Husband, Scott. First half of the book is mainly from Sophie's POV, which you get a very good sense of who she is and how she is perceiving this new women in the household. Things are not as they seem though and even with the foreshadowing, the twists and the finale are worth the time reading. The other POV is from Deena. Again, Dalgliesh builds some great characteristics and you get a very good sense who Deena is. Or do you?

Really enjoyed this medium paced, well written thriller. As always, I really enjoy listening to both Tasmin Kennard and Alison Campbell as narrators. They have superb voices for these type of thriller

I had a hard time getting into this book. It was interesting enough that I wanted to finish and find out how it ended, but it didn't grip me the way I had hoped it would. I did think the ending was pretty good, so that made it a little better. I'm sure there will be other readers that get into it more than I did, but it just wasn't my favorite.
