Another good book by Hannah Lynn! I devour Hannah Lynn books due to their light-heartedness and ease at which they can be read. My one complaint about this book, is the believability of the ending and how abruptly it ended. I am still ready for the next one!

You know, there's sometimes when you want a romance that's captivating and warm as a cozy sweater with a cup of hot cocoa (with marshmallows, because of course!!!) — this is one of those romances for sure!!!! And I just can't get enough!!

Bex leaves London for a two month assignment in Scotland to do some accounting at a sprawling castle with out-of-date records, to say the least. What Bex didn't expect to find is a grumpy groundskeeper named Duncan, who is oddly charming, friends who are so kind, and the magic of Scotland. Duncan doesn't expect to find a beautiful lass who bewitches his heart. They are lovely together. I love the wit, the banter, and the supporting characters too!

This rounds out to such a beautiful romance ❤️.
And I just can't wait to get into my warm cozy sweater and hot cocoa mode again for the next book!!

This book is the first part of a new series, set in Scotland. It features Rebecca (Bex) who was a character in The Wildflower Lock series. She has been sent to Scotland by the company that she works for.
This book is an enjoyable read, and I loved the location. The only downside is that the book ended suddenly. However, it's not too long to wait for part two of the series.

I really enjoyed this book - i’ve been in a reading slump but this had me hooked and helped get me out of it.
A nice cosy, feel good story.

I absolutely loved this book. I'd go so far as to say this was my favourite novel by this author so far and I'm really hoping that because of the way this novel ended that there will be another one in the series!

I really loved Lorna, Fergus and Duncan and I felt that he was the perfect match for Bex. The location sounded fab too. Overall a really enjoyable read.

A Scottish golden retriever groundskeeper and a neurotic accountant meet in a small town. What is not to love?

I found Kilts and Kisses at Highland Hall to be incredibly sweet (though not cloying or saccharine), funny, and just perfectly steamy.

I am really hoping this becomes a series because there are definitely some loose ends that I think the author left for further dissection in future stories. Loved this!

A nice little romp. I really liked Bex and Duncan sounded to die for.
An easy read for an afternoon and I’m glad it’s a series as I’ve grown quite attached to the characters.

This was an entertaining read. I was hooked from the first few pages, an as a fan of anything to do with Scotland, and this book delivered so well. I liked the FMC, although I must admit that her somewhat judgmental personality didn't sit well with me at first, until I saw the change in her. I liked her, and even more so as she gradually became friends with the owner of the castle. I'll say that the romance here was nice but also a little confusing, entertaining too, but as I said, I didn't see much chemistry between the characters until almost the end of the story. Would you call it a slow burn? Let's say yes. In short, it was a good story that entertained me and made me laugh a few times.

In Hannah Lynn’s new cozy romance series, readers follow London accountant Rebecca Barker as she arrives with spreadsheets, strategies, and a plan to get Highland Hall back on track. Unwilling to mix business and pleasure, she has no time for heartbroken and handsome Duncan MacDuffey, the groundskeeper, and the entire village conspires to keep them apart to protect Duncan’s heart. Managing the estate and integrating into the protective local community, Rebecca has a lot to do and romance is not on the list, but she might not be able to strategize her way out of this shot at a happy ending. With great characters and a beautiful Scottish setting, readers will love life in this charming village and estate in the Highlands. Packed with details and fun characters, the atmosphere of this new book and series is cozy, heartwarming, and charming. Rebecca and Duncan are great protagonists with complex backstories, and the ability to shift between their perspectives gives readers glimpses into both sides of this possible relationship. Fun, charming, and entertaining, readers will love this new series -- off to a strong start with this first book -- from Hannah Lynn with her fantastic settings, great atmosphere and emotional storylines, and brilliantly written characters.

Bex Carter is a successful accountant who is hopeful that she will be made partner. However, she is surprised when instead of receiving her promotion she is sent to the Highlands to sort out the finances of a mysterious Scottish laird. She heads north and finally reaches the breath taking setting for a castle nestling alongside a small village. Bex meets the handsome Duncan who is the gamekeeper who helps her to settle in and make friends in the village. She isn't expecting to fall in love with the people and her surrounding but kismet has other ideas.

This is a lovely warm romantic read with a beautiful setting. Bex is a great main character as a strong and capable woman and the romance is sweet and charming without being unrealistic. The only annoying aspect of this novel is that it finished abruptly and I suspect will become a series. I hope I don't have to wait long to find out what happens next. With thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for a copy of the arc in exchange for a review.

This was a really sweet read. I really enjoyed the story between the main characters, Rebecca (Bex) nd Duncan, they had great chemistry. There were a few giggles along the way and memorable characters. I believe this is the first book in a new series and I look forward to reading the other books.

The setting at Highand Hall (a castle) in Scotland was lovely and I cannot wait to learn more about the laird of the castle, his backstory seems like it will be interesting.

Thank you to NetGalley, Boldwood publishing house and the author for the opportunity to read a complimentary copy of this book in return for review based upon my honest opinion.

Apparently I have it down bad for Scotish men, and man am I not down for each and every book that comes with a sexy man from the highlands.
The book is lighthearted, fun and it has that "oh my god I literally fucking love you"vibe that I love. So it's a five star, it's an "Imma buy this real quick even if I'm mid book-buying-ban" and obviously I'm gonna highlit so bad I'm gonna need three boxes of post-its to mark it all up.
10/10.

Oh my goodness, this is an absolutely fantastic beginning to a new series! I adore the fact that the main character is from the Wildflower Lock series, and the references to it pop up occasionally (no need to have read the other series to enjoy this book, though). It’s a delightful and easy-to-read romantic novel with wonderful human and animal characters that leave you feeling warm and fuzzy inside. I can’t wait to dive into the next instalment!

Thank you Netgalley.

This was such a good romance book! I thought the story was crafted beautifully and the characters were beautifully crafted! The story perfectly encapsulates what it’s like living in a small village in the Highlands! The only slight negative I have is that I felt that it was very fast paced, I was always wanting more from some of the scenes. Overall great story and writing!

Immediately I knew I was going to love this. It ticks so many boxes for what I love in a read - set in the Scottish Highlands, living in a castle, picturesque village and really likeable characters!

I literally read this is one sitting. I loved Bex - she knows what she wants and she knows her worth. She also isn’t afraid of hard work. I loved Duncan too - rugged but kind. And Fergus - typical grumpy laird - or is he? I found myself connecting with the characters and the storyline immediately and I really am hoping that how it ended means we are going to get another book?

I love the pacing - perfect to keep you engaged and beautifully written. This made for a wonderful read from start to finish!

When buttoned-up London accountant Rebecca arrives at Highland Hall with a plan, romance is not on the agenda—until she meets the brooding, heartbroken groundskeeper, Duncan. With the village watching and boundaries blurring, the last thing either of them expects is love… but some things just don’t fit on a spreadsheet.

This one was so sweet it made my teeth ache—in the best way. There’s almost no drama and barely any steam, but it’s cozy, charming, and made me want to book a trip back to Scotland and fall for a broody groundskeeper… or maybe a Laird. If you’re in the mood for something low-stress, heartwarming, and perfect to curl up with, this is it.
Thank you to NetGalley & Boldwood Books for the ARC.
3 stars.

This is such a sweet story and perfect to read on vacation-Ironically, I read this while on a trip which included Scotland. Perfection!

Bex and Duncan are such a cute couple, and the surrounding townfolk are quirky, funny, and well-rounded characters. The small town vibe gave me Gilmore Girls vibes while the romance was sweet with minimal spice.

My only complaint is the epilogue. The ending was so abrupt that I was left looking at the page thinking, "that's it?!". It wouldn't stop me from encouraging you to read this book, but it was a bit of a disappointment.

Hannah Lynn is a fabulous writer, her settings, characters and story comes to life on the page.

This is a lovely story whose main character Bex is sent to the Highlands to sort out the accounts of an old land owner. Bex has a huge job ahead of her! Set in an old castle surrounded by lots of woods, a grumpy laird, a handsome groundskeeper, no decent coffee and the nearest shop some way away she gets on with it and makes friends along the way. Follow her story it will make you laugh and feel good, brilliant book!
