At her job in London Bex is asked to go to Highland Hall in Scotland to sort out the finances for a couple of months. The book is a feel good romance which was very enjoyable with a hint of mystery to it. The characters were likeable and quirky. The landscape of Scottish Highlands beautifully highlighted. Really looking forward to more of Bexs adventures and Highland Hall as it finished quickly hopefully leaving it open for more in the series.

Bex has to go to Scotland to sort out the accounts of the Highland Hall not realising that it's a castle. Things don't go well on her journey there. She then meets Duncan the groundsman and it doesn't get off to a good start. Also she discovers the laird is a very Grumpy Fergus. Bex first showed up in the wonder Wildflower Lock series which I loved. Can't wait for the next book in the series

A lovely feel good romance with beautiful descriptions of the scottish highlands.
characters you cannot help but love and even a small hint of a mystery running through.
i cannot wait to see Bex takes us next.
