Thank you Netgally for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book. The opinions written are completely honest and my own.

I found this book very humorous, especially the turtle. I already have it in line for Christmas presents as I'm sure the children my life will feel the same

Thanks to Netgalley and DK for this ARC!

This was an adorably illustrated book showcasing some dogs from small to big. It worked well at pattern recognition (understanding that the next dog was going to be bigger). My kids both liked it, even though they were out of the intended audience.

Different types of dogs are shown in the picture book "The Biggest Dog in the Book" Each dog is compared to the dog in the page before in terms of it's size. Plenty of adjectives are used throughout making this good for size language and descriptive language. Cute colored illustrations make this a good pick for students in PreK - 2nd Grade.

This is cute! Although I thought the biggest dog would be a different breed for sure! I think kids will enjoy learning a few different dog breeds, it's very repetitive so that will definitely help with retention. The illustrations are also quite precious.

Who do you think will be the biggest dog in the book?

I received a copy in exchange for my honest review.

This is an adorable and very funny book about dogs, recognizing sizes, and friendship. I as the parent even chuckled several times. My son would definitely be asking for this one on repeat.

This fun book shows a number of dogs in sequence from tiny to biggest while telling the thing that they like best. Excellent fun for those of us who adore dogs!
The illustrations by Mark Chambers are simple, imaginative and FUN depictions of several kinds of dogs. Well suited for reading alone or WITH someone of any age, including ESL, and great for gifting to everyone, but especially to a school, waiting room, or your local public library!

What a wonderful book about different types of dogs!

This book builds as it goes, the repetition of the dogs names with their picture helps remind the child who the characters are while also introducing a new one each few pages. The artwork is so whimsical and fun, and each dog with their different personality is also captured very well. My daughter loved the dogs names, and laughed out loud when Lettuce was introduced, and the situation in the park with the water.

A very fun and quick read for a child who loves dogs, and as a parent reading it, this was also enjoyable for me!

This book is so adorable. The illustrations are beautiful and made my 5 year old daughter laugh out loud. The dogs names and breeds are unique, the story is simple enough that my 7 year can practice her reading. 10/10!

A humorous guessing game of who is the biggest dog. The illustrations are fun and well-drawn. This will for sure be a book that gets some giggles during storytime.

Thank you NetGalley for an advanced e-copy of this delightful book!

This book has the silliness factor that my children love! It keeps you guessing which dog is the biggest, and even throws a bit of a twist in the middle because one of them is not a dog! That part made me giggle out loud!

Definitely a good book for kids who like silliness or dogs or cute illustrations. Plus, my favorite part, at the end it turns out it’s not a competition and being the biggest is something that doesn’t even matter much because they are all friends and what’s most important is playing together no matter their size, shape, abilities, or even if they’re a dog!

All dog lovers will fall for this cute tail (pun intended). Has so many options for curricular connections as well as a popular topic for most kids. Adorable!

Gahh, I just love this book! I am such a sucker for a kids book about dogs. This book is well written and makes such great use of repetition for even the littlest readers to get into. My little one especially liked pointing on the "that's not a dog!" friend in the story. A book we will be looking for once it hits print to be adding to our home collection!

This book was so funny. My child, who is 3, even giggled when a certain special friend shows up in the book who is in the wrong book (hint: the friend isn't a dog). The illustrations were fun and I read this to my son in front of my own mom who found it cute. A book for everyone!

The Biggest Dog in the Book. Such a cute and easy read for my little one. He liked looking at the different types of dogs there are. Their different sizes. Even though the book was short, it was just the right amount for my little one to be able to sit through it. Loved the illustrations.

A delightful and humorous book about different dog breeds (and a turtle thrown in). This book will be easy to share with children and give them a few giggles. The illustrations are clear and engaging to look at. Will be checking out other books in the series.

Perfect for children of dog lovers!
The description says for 3-5 years. However, I think it is appropriate for any age. I'm not sure if it is a board book because I read an E copy. I plan to get it for my one year old granddaughter and get a copy for my dog loving son and daughter-in-law that have not had kids yet. :)
I received this galley from NetGalley.

What better way to raise a family of dog lovers than to start early by reading The Biggest Dog in the Book by Ben Lerwill to your youngsters? Lerwill's lighthearted story book is enhanced by the brilliant and whimsical illustrations by Mark Chambers, making this the perfect picture book to cuddle up with and read to your child or grandchild.
The book takes you from the smallest breed of dog up to the biggest of them all, teaching about sizes and breeds along the way. The additional illustrations of other animals, such as flighty birds and slow and steady turtles, make each page come alive.
This book is sure to become a staple on many animal lover families' shelves.
Thank you to #NetGalley for the ARC of #TheBiggestDogintheBook. I wholeheartedly recommend this adorable book!

The Biggest Dog in the Book is an adorable story that features the smallest dog to the "biggest dog in the book." My 4 year old loved yelling "not the biggest dog in the book!" at the end of every dog. This book is a great way to introduce children to different breeds of dogs with a fun spin.

I always feel like there is not enough dog books in the kid's section and I'm so happy that this book is coming out this summer! Fun, silly read.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.
