This book contains lovely crochet patterns that are easy to follow and colorfully illustrated. I've definitely been inspired to make more amigurumis. This is a must read for any beginner to intermediate crochet enjoyer who wants to make amigurumis.

Amy Ting did an amazing job with this book. As someone who would consider themselves an intermediate crocheter she does a great job of really breaking down how to create these amigurumi critters.

Not only does she have the pattern instructions, she includes progress photos of what your critter should look like. Pages 12-26 gives details into how to create different stitches, but also a QR codes you can scan that takes you to her Youtube page where she has easy to follow videos.

You can tell that she took time to consider the best ways to walk someone through the patterns and you can feel confident in your abilities.

I find this book to be very cute but most importantly - informative. It is wonderful to be look at the cute crochet critters being crocheted but it is also helpful being able to follow the steps of creating a critter and learning the techniques. The book is easy to follow once you familiarize yourself with the different techniques that is shown at the beginning of the book. I like how the book categorizes different projects based on their difficulty which makes it easier to choose which critter you would like to start with.

The amigurumi critters in this book are SO DANG CUTE. There’s a section sharing the supplies needed & different techniques needed to complete the projects. All projects are provided a difficulty level, which is more based on the skills needed for the project & not necessarily based on how long you’ve been crocheting! This is definitely a cute guide to crocheting cute little animals!

I thought the critters were cute and there were a variety of patterns to follow. The photos and instructions were mostly clear, I found a couple hard to tell the difference between examples. A great resource for intermediate crocheters!

Love crochet and loved getting to dive into the patterns within this book. If you’re a total beginner you may need some tutorials before diving into these patterns. Looking forward to making all the little critters eventually and had fun with the ones I did complete.

The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is that absolute beginners might still need to learn the basics elsewhere before diving in, and a few projects could benefit from more in-progress photos.

Overall, this is a fun, confidence-boosting crochet book that will leave you with an adorable collection of handmade friends. Highly recommend for anyone with a love of yarn and whimsy!

I love to crochet and I ended up finding quite a few fun things in this book to create. I would recommend this book to any crocheter (new or experienced) that is looking to create cute little animals to keep for themselves to give as gifts!

The book opens with guidance that makes this a book a beginner could pick up — or perhaps someone who has some experience crocheting, but not with making animals. This was a very cute and informative book. The photography is good. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. It is a joy to read. I'm still working on Gertrude the Grumpy Chick, but I'd recommend this book.

The crochet Amigurumis in this book were very cute and very easy to create. The instructions were clear and beginner friendly. I bought this book to crochet small animals for my kids and even though I haven't crocheted in years, it was perfect for me to jump right in.

This is such a fun crochet book. Thank you NetGalley for the arc. Easy to understand terminology and the cutest critters. I wouldn't recommend this for beginners who are new to amigurami. A lot of the critters require quite a bit of piecing and sewing.

This is a great book to find some really adorable patterns! The pictures are very clear and the instructions are easy to follow. I love that there is a difficulty level for each pattern. I loved the Otter family and the angry duck. So cute!

Amy Ting’s Amigurumi Critters are absolutely delightful. The patterns are unique, yet simple to follow and work up fast! The QR codes for video tutorials are extremely helpful and well presented. Oh the joy of technology!!! I read the book on my phone and this allowed me to work on making my little critters on the go.

My only concern regarding the book format would be the text colouring and white background. This may be a little challenging for folks like me with eye sight issues. However, I would definitely recommend this book all levels of Crocheters!!

I have made a number of the animals now and LOVE them. My kids are loving their new little critters friends t00, the only problem is that I can't make them fast enough!
