It is worth the read for any Timberwolves fan. Hine does a great job of sharing Ant's backstory through the present. The book shares a narrative of the grueling football practices as a kid with the Atlanta Vikings, the challenges of just making it to school after his mother and grandmother passed away, the COVID draft, the 2024 Olympics, and coming into his own with the Wolves (pretty much through just after the KAT trade). It provides insight into who Ant is as a person and how quickly he learns from others, as well as his own mistakes.

The book features commentary from various members of Ant's inner circle, coaches, and current and former teammates (including Naz, KAT, Kyle Anderson, and McLaughlin). The most interesting part to me was how the Wolves front office and Tim Connelly in particular are steadfast in surrounding Ant with the right type of mentors. It touches on why the team brought in Rubio, Pat Bev, and Mike Conley all to provide a different flavor of mentorship/leadership to help set Ant off on the right path.

The only knock I have is that it seemed somewhat premature in its release and I would have loved to have more about this season and postseason (2024-25), particularly post-KAT trade. It would have been worth whatever delay it would have caused in publishing.

The narrator was robotic at times, but did manage to capture the different characteristics of interviewees, which helped differentiate between quotations and the rest of the narrative.
