Great short biography of Angela Davis. I wish there was more explicit feminist content about her life.

This is a great introduction to the historical figure and activist Angela Davis. The book is told as a narration of her story, and Angela's inspiration which came from her mother. After the biographic story is finished the author tells some more information about her life and accomplishments. There is also a timeline included. This would be a great audio to listen to while reading the picture book. It would make a good history supplement as well.

I highly recommend this audiobook for schools and libraries.
