I didn't know much about LeBron James until reading this book. He seems like an accomplished basketball player and good man. Someone to aspire to be like. This book is a great introduction to LeBron and a wonderful story.

The illustration was super cute. I was expecting this book to have simple language and *literally* be for babies (I clicked intending to potentially gift this to a newborn as their first book) nonetheless I think young sports fans and their dad’s would definitely enjoy the opportunity to read about LeBron before bed.

This is a wonderful book an out Lebron James. perfect for young children. Just enough text to tell the story with engaging pictures. A great book for , adults and children. I highly recommend.

Baby Biographies: LeBron James – My Baby’s Introduction to the Basketball Legend by Matthew Doucet is a visually striking picture book with illustrations that are truly outstanding. The artwork is colorful, expressive, and clearly designed to appeal to very young children. Based on the title and the visual style, it gives the impression that the book is meant for babies or toddlers.
However, the language used throughout the text feels out of step with that audience. Words like "athleticism," "unselfishness," "cemented," "rejected," and "unparalleled" make it difficult to understand who the book is really for. While it may be intended for parents to read aloud, the vocabulary is complex and not well suited for the youngest listeners. The mixed signals between the art and the writing create confusion about the book’s purpose. I would give it 3 out of 5 stars, largely due to the high quality of the illustrations. I received an advanced reader copy from NetGalley and Cider Mill Press.

I LOVE this series!!! Every book is SO cute!!! I learnt more than I knew as an adult and I am certain these would be great to inspire any kid. I will be buying this for my baby nephew! I love the artwork!
