This was a fun book and would make a great hostess gift for the spritz lovers in your life. The photos were beautiful and the layout was clean and easy to read. Recipes ranged from simple to complex for those who are looking for a libation adventure. While I’m not sure where I would be able to find some of the ingredients, it would be an adventure to find them in my area. It was nice to see some classic drinks and I especially enjoyed pop culture reference drink names like “No one mourns the wicked”.

Overall I enjoyed this cocktail cookbook featuring spritz. I got some great ideas for my bar and enjoyed the pictures and easy to follow instructions. I felt some of the ingredients are too difficult to find and there wasn’t a ton of front copy to explain the overall narrative. However I’ll definitely be making some of these soon!
Note: I’m grateful to the publisher for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I love a good spritz. I love them at home, I love them on vacation. I even have a shirt that says "Member of the Spritz Club". It's a very serious thing. My go-to is typically a Hugo, but I am also a Aperol lover too.

This book is beautiful. The drink receipes are laid out very well. The photos are gorgeous. My only main critique is that some of the ingredients are going to be tough to find for the average person. I do like that some of the syrups and flavorings have recipes within the book, so that helps in trying to make the drinks. If you're willing to spend some money on the different liquors and bitters, I think this is book makes it super easy to make the drinks.

Overall, this was a great book. I really enjoyed looking at it and reading the recipes. They brought back a lot of really good memories.

I love a spritz so I was so excited to get this ARC! This would also be a cute coffee table/bar cart book!

This book is chock full of spritz recipes, separated into sections like "relax," and "celebrate." I liked that the book outlined the particular glass that should be used, and I got some great ideas for spritzes we can try with ingredients we already have (lots of St. Germain options which is one of my favorite liqueurs!) I also liked the fun syrup recipes that can add to a spritz like vanilla, cucumber and strawberry and plan to make those!

My only critique is that there are a lot of very obscure ingredients like liqueurs and liquor that I'm not sure I'd want to buy to make one spritz - but maybe I will give them a shot!

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the ARC - all opinions are my own.
