Wow! What a ride! This one had my head spinning! I really enjoyed how everything came together in the end!
Thank you Boldwood Books for the arc!

Told by various people and with different timelines, the story is taut throughout , always making the reader second guess what is going to happen next. It is a great page turner and with an ending that I certainly wasn't expecting.
Overall 4.5*
Thanks to Netgalley/ Boldwood books for the ARC to review

Annie has not returned to her hometown in years, and only her brother's serious injury, and her mother's plea to come, make her visit. Annie realizes that her brother fell from a cliff not far from where Giselle, her next door neighbor and friend, died 12 years ago. Annie meets up with another old friend, Natalie, who is searching for the identity of the man who assaulted her on the same night that Giselle died. When they learn of another girl who disappeared around the same time, and Annie receives suspicious messages, they are convinced that there is more to learn about that deadly night.
I could not put this book down! It was impossible to know, until the end, who was telling the truth and who still had secrets to hide. The ending was completely unexpected but neatly tied up the loose ends, and how I hate a mystery with loose ends!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

First of all, a moment for the cover please. Isn't it the perfect depiction of a psychological thriller? What secrets does that house hold and who is that in the window? Will the story have the answers? You'll have to read it to find out! This book is nervy and gripping, right from the get go. I couldn't have put it down if I'd wanted to, it had me in a chokehold. I always love a story that has a main character returning to their childhood home or town. It's always a case of will the past stay in the past or are old patterns going to be repeated? And that's very much the theme of this book. A tight, tense, twisty read. loved it and I want more from this author.

Thank you Netgalley for the chance to read this arc!
Loved this book, a quick page turner. The suspense got me sitting on the edge of my seat.

Thank you NetGalley!! WOW!! This book had me hooked! Told through multiple POVs (my favorite!!) there are so many twists and turns that unfold as you go!! Highly suggest this book and will definitely be reading more by Amanda Brittany!

WOW! THIS BOOK WAS FANTASTIC!
A very short and intriguing prologue…
The storyline was engaging and exciting from start to finish and I was in shock with all the different twists and turns this book made! It was jaw dropping at points and I definitely did not predict the majority of what was revealed throughout, which is uncommon for me! Absolutely brilliant!
All the characters within this story were very unique and interesting in their own way and as soon as I started reading this book, I could not stop - I literally flew through it!
Nice short chapters told over multiple time lines and POV’s which flowed effortlessly and was easy to follow.
I am really looking forward to picking up more books from this author in the future!
Highly recommend this one if you love a good fast paced and twisty thriller!

Let Me Out by Amanda Brittany.
I really enjoyed this book. It was slow starting but once Annie is home it started to get really good. I wasn't sure how I felt about the characters. I didn't have any favourites. I did try to guess what happened 12 years ago. I kept jumping from suspect to suspect. The chapters were short. I read this in 2 sittings. I didn't really like Natalie. Not how she was. Some parts were chilling. I had goosebumps. Wow. I never would have guessed that ending. I definitely recommend

Let Me Out by Amanda Brittany was an excellent psychological thriller, that will grab you from the very beginning till the very end, especially as it had lots of twists and turns that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat, which made this book hard to put it down, Let me Out was so addictive and I LOVED reading this book especially as I suspecting everyone is involved which was great fun, I got it wrong all the time! 😂
Amanda has away of writing that builds up the tension within her books and then Bang! it all changes again.
Superb writing. I highly recommend this book. Another 5⭐️ read.
Big Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the opportunity to read and review this ARC.

Amanda Brittany delivers a suspenseful and subtly chilling tale in Let Me Out, a psychological thriller that demands your full attention. With a layered plot and multiple threads unfolding simultaneously, this story challenges the reader to stay alert—and rewards them with a tightly woven, compelling narrative.
The atmosphere throughout carries a quiet eeriness, enhanced by Brittany’s detailed storytelling and steady pacing. There’s a sense of unease that builds with each chapter, keeping the reader on edge as secrets unravel and truths come to light.
While the plot is complex, Brittany handles the intricacies with precision, maintaining engagement through well-developed characters and consistently rising tension. Let Me Out is a smart, absorbing read for fans of psychological thrillers who enjoy piecing together the clues and staying one step ahead—or trying to.

I read a few other comments and saw they were griped on the first page. However, for me, it did take a while and i felt it was a slow roll into the mystery. Now, this certainly could just be me so I am not counting this as any sort of negative. I am just wanted to share my though on that versus what a few others thought.
Annie has been avoiding her hometown for over a decade after her childhood friend threw herself from a cliff (supposedly) and her other best friend, Natalie stopped talking to her. She left and threw herself into her studies and became a doctor where she then dedicated her life to it, until she had a mental breakdown. She returns home to find a note on her doorstep from her mother that he brother has been in a accident and she is needed at home. In a way, Annie is hurt she wasn't told sooner since the accident happened a bit ago but she has also been the one avoiding her mom and brother for some time.
Once she returns to her home town, secrets of the past start to rear their head and now she must confront the pain and even uncover some of the answers to what happened.
Overall, I was engaged and curious how things would play out. I did not see how things were woven together until about 65% of the way through the book which I think is a good thing. we start to tighten the strings and the picture is revealed.

What with her brother's accident and Natalie's worries, it seems coming home might not be the relaxing break Annie was needing after all - and that's before she starts receiving mysterious warnings.
This is a story with lots of mysterious characters and events which wind back and forth between padt and present. The reveal is a really good one - not easy to predict! However, it means other events need their own explanations, which stretches credibility that bit further.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, not least for the bleak atmosphere surrounding the two main houses, which really did seem so isolated from the rest of Ridgewater - much like their occupants.

the plot twist in this is absolutely insane. i still can’t process it all. completely mind blown. i love how everything connects so seamlessly, and how you get to watch the story unfold through so many different perspectives. it’s wild how people can deceive you, and how one moment can change everything. the twist made me question everything i thought i knew about these characters. such a clever, addictive thriller that left me genuinely unsettled in the best way.

Full of suspense this book had me guessing straight from the start, what happened to Annie’s brother, what happened to Giselle, Natalie’s strange behaviour at the start.
Really clever plot that had me hooked with different points of view from the past and present, secrets are uncovered.
An author I’m going to add to my list, if you love a good thriller you’ll love this book. I did!

Let Me Out pulls you in right away with its eerie small-town atmosphere, layered secrets and a strong emotional undercurrent. I loved how the mystery unraveled bit by bit, with past and present slowly colliding in ways I didn’t always see coming. The multiple POVs added depth to the story and I especially appreciated Annie’s character. She was flawed, vulnerable, but determined.
The plot is filled with twists, and while a couple were easy to predict, others genuinely surprised me. The themes of trauma, guilt, and memory were woven in well, and the pacing stayed tight enough to keep me engaged throughout.
Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the opportunity to read and review this ARC.

Thank you, Netgalley, Amanda Brittany, and Boldwood Books for the eARC. I absolutely loved this psychological thriller! I’m always drawn to stories where secrets from the distant past resurface in the present, and this one delivered perfectly. Full of unexpected twists and turns, the plot unfolded at just the right pace and kept me hooked from start to finish!

Loved it!!! I was hooked from the start and couldn't stop reading it. There were so many twists and turns. What happened to Fiona? Was it related to Natalie? How did Elliot fall off the cliff? The book kept me in suspense. There are so many secrets. The story completely went into directions that I would have never guessed. Annie returns home after many, many years because her brother fell from a cliff. He's paralyzed and not speaking. The doctor's think it's psychological. "You don't have to be crazy to live here, but it helps." This is what Annie thinks after her mother informs her about Elliot's diagnosis. Annie is having a mental breakdown on leave from being a doctor while she works on her anxiety. Florence, Annie and Elliot's mother, sees fairies and believes they live in her garden. She refuses to lock the house door because the fairies will keep them safe. Then there's Margot Bancroft next door. She's the mother of Annie's childhood friend Giselle. Annie was never allowed in their house. Eventually they couldn't play anymore because Giselle had a disease where she couldn't be outside. Margot seems to be missing a few screws after the death of her daughter. She constantly plays old tapes of her daughter all day long. Natalie is determined to find out who assaulted her twelve years ago and she's out for revenge. I was definitely surprised by the ending and wasn't expecting that turn of events. I enjoyed when the truth about everything finally came out. I never guessed who could have assaulted Natalie. I suspected so many people. Tom the bartender was the biggest shock. I had horrible thoughts when he brought Kerry up to her hotel room.
Definitely recommend the book. It was a great mystery/thriller that kept me guessing until the very end. Loved the story, characters and writing style. Look forward to reading more books by the author. Love the cover of the book.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Boldwood Books through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

"Let Me Out" is a psychological thriller full of rich characters, a chilling, gratifying read that stays with you long after the final jaw dropping twist. A fast paced page turner with many twists and turns surrounding a mysterious cliff. I highly recommend this 5 star unputdownable thriller!
Synopsis: Annie has avoided returning to her hometown of Ridgewater since the terrible night twelve years ago when her childhood best friend, Giselle, lost her life. But now Annie’s brother has been injured in an accident identical to Giselle’s, and she knows she must go back.
Many thanks to #LetMeOut #NetGalley and #Boldwoodbooks for providing me an E-ARC of this fabulous 5 star book!

WHOA!!! I have never read a book by this author- but I immediately went to the library upon finishing this book and checked out the 2 books that they had of hers!!! Ya'll this was a twisty, creepy, crazy ride and I LOVED it!
Annie is a doctor who has taken leave from her hospital due to stress and a breakdown. As she is recovering, she receives a letter from her mother that her brother, Elliot, was in an accident and is in a coma. Annie immediately leaves to go to Ridgewater to help with his care. While there, she meets her old friend, Natalie, and they become suspicious that Elliot's accident was actually an intended murder. Annie's friend, Giselle, from childhood had the same "accident" in the same spot 12 years ago. As well as Natalie being assaulted on the same night.
The story is told through multiple POV's: Annie, Elliot, Anonymous, and Margot (Giselle's mother). There are a lot of characters in the story, but it never got confusing, and although there seemed to be multiple strands/story lines- it ALL comes together. And the twists???? So many times I thought I knew what was happening, who the killer was- but nope! And the last twist? Never saw that coming. However, sometimes twists seem to be written in for the simple shock factor. That is not what is happening here. Each twist is relevant and important to the culmination of the story arc.
My head is still spinning!💫😅
The characters are developed very nicely. There is honest growth in each one, with no quick fixes or quick solutions. And I love Annie! She is struggling with some things, but is still reliable, funny, and persistent. Margot reminded me of Dickens' Miss Havisham😶
This is a fantastic read dealing with family bonds, secrets (everyone in this book has one!), grief and loss. If you like a deeper read, with a complicated case that spans decades and twists galore, plus a fantastic conclusion that ties it all together- this is the book for you!!!!
Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the ARC. This is my honest and voluntary conclusions.

I was instantly drawn to this book by the front cover image, tag and title.
I love my psychological thrillers and although this is a new aoluthor to me, I couldn't wait to dive in and discover what was waiting inside.
I have to say that I was totally hooked from the first few pages and could not put this down!
The story unfolds gradually over a then and now timeline and we discover that events are repeating themselves twelve years on after Annie's friend died.
This split timeline allowed us to see how the events linked up, but without actually fully knowing what had happened and who was involved.
The tension builds as we start to make assumptions and theories, but this really did keep me guessing as the two storylines twisted around each other.
I loved the creepy setting which although was inhabited, it felt quite isolated too.thw backdrop of the woods also added to the dark atmosphere.
The characters were all well presented and I liked that there were a few questionable personalities in here too.
There were a few moments when I wondered about this becoming paranormal?
I was definitely on edge and felt that eerie chill!
A great read and an author that I'll be looking out for for future reads too.
