A fantastic thriller, fast-paced and full of suspense, with a twist I didn’t see coming. I couldn’t put it down and highly recommend it.

Thank you Netgalley and Boldwood Books for the ARC!
Amanda Brittany is one of the - way too many - authors I usually buy books from blindly, and with Let Me Out, she did clearly deliver again!
I came up with some theories about what had happened to Annie's brother, and also, to Giselle, all those years ago while reading, jumping from one suspect to the next. It just felt like everyone in Ridgewater was holding secrets, good and bad ones alike. And Margot - Giselle's mother - and her creepy house constantly gave me the shivers (I have no idea why I did always imagine the Addam's family home while reading). Oh, and that plot twist! I never in a million years could have seen that one coming!
All in all, another great read from Amanda Brittany! Looking forward to the next one!

My first Amanda Brittany novel but definitely not my last. This was a great fast paced story. Lots of side stories that were woven together beautifully. Fantastic characters.
Thank you NetGalley, Amanda Brittany and Boldwood Books for the opportunity to read and review this book.

There is a lot going on in this book.
Annie's brother being attacked/accidently falling from a cliff.
Her best friend next door being killed by falling/being pushed off the same cliff.
Kerry's sister disappearing in Ridgeway.
These events bring the characters together, and they investigate their cases together.
I loved this book, it was well written, the plot was fast and interesting. I was totally invested in what happened to the people who had died or were injured. There were many suspects, and I certainly didn't do a good job of predicting the end of this book.
Massive massive twist about Giselle. Her mother and grandmother were major headcases.
Everything was pulled together so well in the end.
I highly recommend.
4/5 stars from me.

Annie avoided returning to her home town of Ridgewater because of the bad memories it held for her. Annies childhood best friend, Giselle, lived in the house next door to Annie, where Annies mother still lives. One night, Giselle had an accident, and died, and her mother still lives in the same house. Annie feels she doesn't want to return to her childhood home as it would be inevitable she would encounter Giselles mother.
Annie gets a phone call from her mother, tell[ng her that her brother has had an accident, and is unable to move or speak. With help, Annies mother is looking after him at home, and she asks Annie to come and see him. Albeit reluctantly, Annie does.
A friend of Annies, Natalie, contacts her, and tells her of other events that occurred the night that Giselle died, and asks Annie for help. Annie agrees, and together they attempt to unlock the secrets and mysteries surrounding that night.
This is a thriller that kept me guessing to the last page, the ending was a surprise, and the mini plots within the story were full of twists and turns. I couldn't put it down.

Wow, this book completely surpassed my expectations! Not that I thought it wouldn’t be good, I just didn’t know how good it would be. Annie returns to her hometown because her brother has suffered a horrible injury. He was found at the bottom of a cliff near their home, paralyzed and unable to speak. This is also where another girl was found dead over a decade ago. And where another young woman disappeared at the same time. Can you blame her for not coming back?
Shortly after coming home, Annie is contacted by her old friend, Natalie, who tells her about another tragic event that happened that same year, on the night before she shut Annie out of her life. Natalie’s trying to track everyone down who was there to figure something out (can’t say what without it being a spoiler). When they realized all these tragedies occurred so close together, they theorized that there had to be some connection, along with at least one very dangerous person who may still be living in the area. What’s going on in this tiny village? And how is Natalie’s brother involved? And if they keep pushing for questions, will they be the next ones found at the bottom of a cliff??
There are many other characters in the story, and to say they are quirky or eccentric doesn’t even come close! As the plot progresses, the list of suspects just keeps growing, and it seems like Annie and Natalie will never find the answers they need. The closer it gets to the conclusion, the more bizarre and shocking the whole thing becomes. I loved it! I was stunned, and it all made sense; it wasn’t even a stretch. You better believe I was hooked on this story right up until the last page because the craziness just kept on coming! This is a definite must-read!

I had a hard time getting into this one at first but I ended up enjoying it! Lots of side stories but it all comes together in the end. 3 stars!

If you enjoy twisty suspense novels, LET ME OUT by Amanda Brittany should be right up your alley.
This is my first book by this author, but I’ll definitely be keeping my eye out for more. Brittany cleverly weaves a tale that pulled me in pretty much from the start, and continued to keep me engaged and guessing. While I can’t say it was the absolute best suspense book I’ve ever read, it did enjoy it.
Thank you to the author, publisher and netgalley for the opportunity to read this advanced reader copy in exchange for my honest review.

Wow this book has a bit of everything.
Past and present time line, Blackmail, returning home, childhood trauma...
I couldnt stop reading, i need to know!
Thank you so much for reaching out to me to read this!

This is one of those crazy books that hooks you from the beginning and doesn't let go until the end! Annie is a junior doctor who lives alone, and her older brother, Elliot had an accident and is now paralyzed. But so many things happened years ago and the format goes back and forth between past and present. There are a lot of characters, money, blackmail, and secrets...! Raced through this one as I couldn't read it fast enough!
Thanks to NetGalley for this ARC!

Thanks to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for this Advanced Reader’s Copy of Let Me Out by Amanda Brittany due to be published June 29, 2025.
Annie’s best friend, Giselle, lost her life twelve years ago and Annie has returned to uncover the truth and take care of her brother, injured in a very similar accident. Another girl has gone missing, also. Will Annie find out what happened without getting injured herself?
Wow – a lot of different things going on in this thriller – no spoilers – but you will be shocked at what is uncovered as Annie tries to find out what happened to her best friend, Giselle! An addictive, fast-paced thriller that will leave you guessing until the end! Looking forward to more of her books!

An interesting storyline.
Well written characters.
Some twists and dark in places.
Overall a decent read.
My thanks to netgalley and the publisher for my copy.

Wow another great book from this author who is fast becoming one of my favourites. She writes well with amazing twists and turns . This new book certainly doesn’t let you down with a great story and characters. I would definitely recommend this book and give it 5 stars

I was pulled into this story from chapter 1, when the main character Annie (a junior doctor) details her series of unfortunate events. The main one being she has to return to her hometown of Ridgewater as her brother has had an accident and is paralysed and mute. From the point of her return, the book has a few quirky characters, some quite literally are away with the fairies, and I was unsure if it was heading to the paranormal side or what was going on in Ridgewater. There are a few sub stories but it all comes together at the end and in an unexpected way. An entertaining read, dark in parts too. I really enjoyed it!

Goodness me, this was such a good book. Highly entertaining. Would definitely recommend to others, that's for sure!
