Annie has stayed away from her hometown for many years. There are many bad memories there - her childhood best friend died & she never went back. But now, her brother has had an accident - one eerily similar to the same one that took Giselle's life. Her brother is paralyzed and can no longer speak even though doctors cannot find any medical reason for this.
Annie comes in contact with Natalie, another friend who was with her and Elliot and another friend, Seb, on the night Giselle died. Natalie endured her own trauma that evening; Annie never knew about it and together they seek answers for what happened that night.
This started out a little odd and slow for me. However, it started picking up and i was furiously flipping pages trying to figure out what had happened. This is the first book I've read by Amanda Brittany and I was hooked. She developed the story with intense detail and some pretty crazy twists!
Thank you Net Galley, Boldwood Books & the author for and eARC of this book in exchange for my honest opinion!

I received a copy of this book to review. All opinions are my own. This was an unputdownable thrilling read. Annie is trying to keep her brother safe while also attempting to figure out what really happened to him that’s caused him to be in the condition he is currently. Jumping between past and present, the details come together but still kept me guessing along the way. I found myself second guessing who can be trusted and becoming suspicious of many characters. The character development was amazing and the scenes described so eerily well I felt like I was right there watching everything unfold. #letmeout #netgalley

This was my first Amanda Brittany book and I'm so glad I gave this book a chance because it was such a GOOD read! Loved that it was super twisty and I felt glued to the pages. Every time I finally had free time, I would eagerly keep reading. I loved the different perspectives and flashbacks. I'll definitely be checking out Amanda Brittany's other books.

Annie returns to her hometown after she receives a letter from her mother that Annie’s brother Elliot is sick. She immediately heads over there as she is currently on a leave from her job where is a doctor due to her mental health. When she gets to the quiet town she has to face several tragedies in including her brother’s illness and being reminded of her friends death. The lady who lives across the street from her mother is Margot. Margo’s daughter died years ago and it was ruled on accident. The same night one of friends was assaulted and there was another death. Annie gets back together with her old friend as they try to piece together who assaulted her friend all those years ago and was Giselles death truly accidental? This was such a good thriller for me. The characters were well written throughout and the plot was great. I liked that the story was told from other peoples viewpoints in some spots because it helps you get the big picture. It was very suspenseful and I couldn’t put it down. The twists and turns were amazing and there’s no way I would have figured them out. I’m still shocked! I highly recommend to readers who like suspenseful psychological thrillers with twists and turns throughout.

What a page turner! I really enjoyed how the book was laid out. There were different perspectives from different characters, flashbacks, and so much backstory’s. I really felt for Annie and loved her character. She really felt obligated to help everyone around her and I’m the same way. We are also on the same anti-depressant! To find out the truth on so many mysteries all at once was so good. Usually there is one or two big twists, but I swear part 3 of the book showed every chapter being a twist. I loved this book so much and will be reading more from this author. If you enjoy mysteries and thrillers then please read this!

Wonderful read. There was not one moment where I correctly guessed what would come next. Insane plot twists and extremely well written. I wish I could reread it with no memory of what happens.

Wow this book has so many twists & turns, it took me a bit to keep up but every time I had to put it down to do life (boring I know) I couldn’t wait to read more. It’s part love, part horror, part thriller, part murder book but all the characters & stories for each one are brilliant & keep you wanting to find out what has happened to all. I was a bit emotional about parts of this book but it made it more special. It’s a complicated book but a bloody good one.

Thank you to the Author and Netgalley for this ARC! This book is just wow! So many twists and turns!! From Elliot’s wild ride, to Giselles. I cant believe Giselle wasnt actually who it said she was! Totally did not see that twist coming at all!! I would have preferred if the Ansa chapter was left out though since it was only one 2 page chapter. There was definitely a lot going on in this book. Between around 6 characters POV’s. Definitely have to pay attention but it was so good in the end! I will be thinking about this one for a long time!!

Although Annie has steadfastly avoided returning home to the town of Ridgewater for many years now, circumstances have now compelled her to change that decision.
The problem is, she is still haunted by the events that took place there over a decade ago, culminating in the death of her best friend Giselle.
Returning home means Annie must contend with the obsessive grief of Giselle's mother, as well as the questions she struggles with over the events of that time. Will this return home provide Annie with any of the answers that she needs? And does she even want to know the truth if it implicates those closest to her?
A gripping story, skillfully delivered, this one is definitely worth checking out. It gets 3.5 stars.

Thank you NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the ARC. That was absolutely diabolical. If you think you have it figured out, no you don’t! I read most of it in one day. Too bad work gets in the way, I could hardly put this book down. If you’re looking for a thriller, this is it. Well done Amanda Brittany….well done.

This book is hands down one of the BEST mystery books I have ever read! It is a must-read for any mystery lover!

Murders,...dark secrets...emotional rollercoaster....twists,,,and turns. This book has all the characteristics needed to embody a great psychological thriller. IT HAS IT ALL!!!
A doctor's brother has suffered a terrible accident. He is now in a situation where he is unable to speak to tell anyone what has happened. However, this happened to the doctor's friend 12 years prior. Coincidence or not? You will have to read to find out!!
The characters were awesome and full of personality. They held my attention throughout the whole read, which by the way, was a quick one. The story transitioned well and had the perfect timing when doing so.
I gave this book 5 stars and that is something I do not give out frequently. This is an absolute MUST READ for anyone that enjoys a good mystery thrill.
Thank you NetGalley , author, and publisher, for the eArc!

Buried secrets are coming to the surface.
Annie Blake recieved a letter from her mother telling her to come home, her brother Elliot has had a serious accident.
Its been a long time, this is identical to her friend Giselles that led to her death twelve years ago.
Leaving London behind and her job as a doctor at the hospital, she returns to fairy cottage in Ridgewater Devon and is shocked by the seriousness of his condition. Why didn't her mother pick up the phone instead of a letter?
One creepy read, Let me out has got all the grips and feelings in every single chapter.
Mind-blowing and my kind of read.
I loved it.

This is such a brilliant read, it kept me hooked from the start! The characters were really well written and I loved the different narratives. The plot was twisty and interesting and I really enjoyed it.

'Let Me Out' by Amanda Brittany really had me hooked! This is an excellent psychological thriller and I thoroughly enjoyed the book. I loved the character development and following the intertwining stories, the different POVs helped to deepen the plot. There were many twists and turns, when I thought I had guessed what would happen, another surprise was revealed. Everything tied together really well at the end when all of the answers were revealed. I struggled to put the book down and felt like it flowed perfectly. I'd definitely recommend this book, keep an eye out on the 29th June!

Thank you Netgalley for the ARC of this book. This was an outstanding read! It pulled me out of the biggest reading slump I've had in a very long time. The characters were crazy and well done but the story was amazing! So many twists and turns that I did not see coming. Highly highly recommend

This book is a must read! I could not put it down. The suspense is overflowing and an ending you won’t see coming. I thought I had this book figured out but to my delight I was not even close. The author did a great job with character development. Each character is easy to identify with and pulls you in deeper. Each sentence draws you in deeper. This psychological thriller is one that will have you on the edge of your seat. Thank you to the author, Amanda Brittany, for this 5 star read.

Returning to her childhood home after suffering burnout and depression due to her highly stressful role as a doctor, Annie has no idea just what she is letting herself in for. Yes, Elliot, her much loved brother, is in some kind of Psychological Paralysis due to a fall off the local cliffs, and Florence, Annie’s mother is still talking to the fairies at the bottom of the garden, but what the community is about to discover amazes and shocks them all.
Another entertaining book from this author, and I think her best so far. The writing was fast paced and the suspense was well built. A bit of a mad reveal, but still entertaining enough to keep me engaged.
Plenty of twists and turns, with some more unexpected than others!
3.5*
Thank you NetGalley and Boldwood Books.

This is a book that leaves you wanting more. Fast paced dramatic writing about a small coastal village and the past history of its inhabitants.
Childhood memories are not all they seem to be with some startling revelations towards the end.
Thank you Netgalley for letting me read this book.

A brother who mysteriously fell off a cliff and cannot speak with lots of underlying mysteries all intertwined? Sign me up. I really enjoyed this book and loved all of the characters. I can find this many characters can be confusing, but I like how the author was able to present them individually and then weave their stories together at the end. I did find this book a little difficult to get into, but couldn't stop after the first half. Overall, I definitely recommend!
