Emery Blaine has a strong writing style and was glad I read this. This was a strong sequel in the Symphonic Masquerade series, it had that element that I was looking for and enjoyed from the previous book. The overall storyline worked well and was glad I got to read this. The characters were everything that I was hoping for and enjoyed about the first book. It uses the scifi-fantasy world perfectly to continue the storyline and was engaged with what was going on and was glad I got to go back in this world and characters.

It was a good immersive story.
I like that characters and the plot.
It was something unique. I would like to see more of this author.

A great start to the novel and I was really getting absorbed into the world building.. And then I kind of found it really patchy….. in my view it might have benefited from a heavy edit. I did really want to enjoy this book. Thank you to the author. Thank you to #netgalley and the publisher for an ARC.
