This book was super sweet it follows Colby and Eli, Colby is a widower who is looking at moving on after the passing of his husband. His cousin suggests he uses ‘The Boyfriend Experience’ and hires a fake boyfriend for a week to help him move on. Colby contacts the agency and arranges a ‘husband’ for the week. Eli is a PHD student who works part time as a sex worker and is an excellent fake boyfriend and is up for the challenge, he agrees to spend a week with Colby at his beach house for the week.

Colby is a sweet and attentive partner who loves looking after people and once Eli realises this is what he wants to do he manages to slip into his natural brat mode, keeping Colby on his toes! They have a really sweet and very spicy week together, falling in love, but as usual both are being stubborn not wanting to admit their feelings.

This was a short and sweet book and was well narrated, Harley Chase manages to narrate both characters and changes his accent and intonation so it’s easy to follow each character. A very enjoyable book which I would recommend and would read the next in the series. I was given a copy of the ARC by Netgalley for an honest review.

These two are so cute! They spend a beautiful, spicy. fun week together. By the end they are both wanting more. Can they make this thing between them real?
