I have enjoyed this series so much I don’t want it to end! Meg Sylvan has been a fantastic narrator as well! She has such great character voices ☺️
I was so excited to finally read this last book about Alex and Hawk and it did not disappoint. I love that out of the 3 siblings and only female Alex was chosen to be the CEO! Yasss for girl bosses!
The slow burn and bodyguard troupes haven’t always been a favourite, but there was something about this one that was just so good to listen to! I also loved all the cameos from the siblings! ❤️
Catherine Bybee has definitely won me over!

I received an advance listening copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I normally love Catherine Bybee, but I could not get into this book. I listened to 46% of the book, and when nothing substantial had happened, I decided to drop it. The first half of the book was spent describing the main character's workaholic personality and the close knit relationship that Alex had with her two brothers.

What an amazing journey this series has been and I’m honestly so sad that it has finished. I was immediately captivated by the intrigue surrounding Alex Stone’s death as his children realize they’ve not only inherited their father’s large fortune, but also have a missing brother. As each sibling found their HEA, they slowly uncovered bits and pieces of the truth that culminated brilliantly as this series came to its end. I enjoyed each of the siblings' stories as they found their HEAs, but also kept reading to find out how things would work out with their inherited estate. Aaron Stone was such a mystery and even though he was dead for the entire series, he was such an important character as well. This billionaire, bodyguard, romantic suspense, and family saga was a sweet and intriguing ending to a wonderful series.
In audio, Meg Sylvan single handedly brought this series to life with her brilliant and nuanced performances. I really enjoyed how she kept consistency between her portrayals of each of the characters even down to their pitch and cadence, including key side characters from book to book. By giving each character their own unique voice, her dynamic performance makes you forget she’s solo narrating the book and made this entire series an absolute treat.
I thought it was perfect to end the series with Alex, the woman who took over for her father and made her place in the corporate world with grace and poise. Her safe, boring, and workaholic life came crashing down around her when threats came in targeting her and threatening her safety. She met Hawk while he was working a party she never should have attended, and sparks fly between them immediately. When she needs help, he’s just the man for the job. Their chemistry heats up as they work together and I adored how her family played matchmaker. Alex needed quite the nudge to get out of her own way. She and Hawk were perfect for each other. Their romance was sweet but rocky, and this story was so hard to put down. I can’t wait to see what Catherine has in story for her readers next.

No More Yesterdays is an action packed sexy adventure about Alex Stone who unexpectedly takes over her father’s billion dollar company. She is protected by her sexy bodyguard, Heath, who helps her uncover the mysteries of her father’s life, while trying to keep Alex alive. Oh my gosh. This is a fun and wild ride. I loved it!

Fantastic finish to the series!
This is not only my favorite Catherine Bybee series, but one of my favorite series overall. This story can be read as a stand alone however I recommend reading in order for maximum enjoyment.
This is finally Alexandria’s story. Since taking over the helm of her father’s company, Alex has put everything into the company and worked nonstop. She’s also become the face of the company and garners unwanted attention from some of her father’s old business contacts. She finds that out the hard way at an event and Hawk, who is part of the private security at the event, steps in to help. When threats continue to escalate Alex and her siblings bring in Hawk and his company to assess and install security measures. Hawk becomes her bodyguard and the man who drives her crazy at every turn. I loved the push and pull between these two. Alex is so busy with work and making sure everyone else is taken care of. She needed a strong man that could handle her status without feeling threatened, take care of her needs and help her relax. Hawk has a past he’s dealing with but the more time he spends with Alex, the harder it is to keep their relationship professional only. When they finally give into their attraction, it’s amazing and I loved every part of their journey.
This is single narration format. Meg Sylvan narrates the entire series, and she is exceptional. She portrayed all facets of Alex, from her strength, independent nature to the emotions needed when facing threats to her, the company and her family. She also flows between characters seamlessly and with enough distinction to easily follow and differentiate between characters.
There are more secrets revealed in this story. I was riveted from start to finish and could not stop listening. While these siblings were new characters, there are connections and encounters with characters from other series and I really enjoyed it.

The third Stone heir Alex, the only female daughter, is doing her best to run the Stone empire. She is the CEO and she is making tough decisions on how to run the company. She has no life other than work. She is the boss and she terrifies her employees, she is having trouble with the Stone board, and she for sure is not making many friends. Alex finds herself in need of protecting and in walks Hawk, bodyguard extraordinaire to help save the day. But Hawk has his own set of issues.
This book is a bit different than the others, of course we have romance and the sibling relationship that we care soo much about but this story also has elements of a romance mystery. There is a lot more to their dad than the Stone kid’s know and Alex finds herself in the middle of a dangerous entanglement.
I have to admit I did like Max’s story a bit more but this story is exciting and worth the read. I listened to the audiobook. The narrator, Meg Sylvan, did a great job. She was really good at distinguishing different characters. She has a smooth pleasant voice. I give the narrator 5 stars!
Thank you very much to NetGalley, the publisher, and Catherine Bybee for allowing me an advanced copy of this book to review.

If you love a romance where the heroine is powerful, the hero is secure in himself, and the tension keeps you reading—then add this to your TBR.
Alex Stone her siblings inherited their father’s empire after his death and now she’s the CEO WORKING herself into the ground, like she’s got something to prove … and That internal pressure? Totally relatable
When a threat to Alex’s life happens, enter Hawk Bronson: ex-military, now bodyguard, and absolutely yummy. He’s confident without ever dimming Alex’s light. I loved that he never felt threatened by her success or strength—if anything, it drew him in more. He’s protective without being overly controlling. And he’s got trauma of his own that adds depth and vulnerability to his character that made me love him more.
The chemistry? Spot on. The banter? So fun . Their dynamic is everything I want in a modern romance: partnership, passion, and mutual respect.
But I do wish we got one key moment: Alex, being the strong, smart woman she is, I wish she’d asked Hawk to teach her how to protect herself in the basic ways. That scene would’ve hit so hard with teamwork and chemistry!
I listened to the audiobook and… meh. I think I would’ve liked it even more. So maybe grab the ebook or paperback.

This whole series has my heart—I adore the Stone siblings like nobody’s business and was so excited for Alex’s story. Plus there’s a hot bodyguard so….
Alexandrea “Alex” Stone, along with her brothers, inherited her billionaire (and absentee among other things) father’s company and took on the CEO role. It’s been a tough battle running the company, trying to make sure everyone keeps their jobs, making tough decisions, and dealing with the patriarchy who’d love nothing more than to see her fail. When real threats to her safety arise, the family decides a serious security upgrade is mandatory.
That security upgrade comes in the form of Hawk Bronson, former undercover agent turned private security consultant, a hot, tough-as-nails bodyguard with all the protective instincts. There’s something irresistible about a gruff bodyguard with a soft spot for a strong FMC. The attraction simmers but they are trying to stay professional…
I LOVED this book so much! I’ve been waiting for the next installment (Book Two, Max’s Story is just as amazing) and it did not disappoint! The story actually focuses more on the threats to Alex and drama in the company and how the family tries to put the pieces together rather than the romance. But don’t worry, there’s plenty of romance too! A perfect combination.
Alex is fierce, smart, beautiful, loyal and still wants to learn and grow. I loved her and how tough she was yet also so kind and loving. How the three siblings stuck together and always had each other’s backs made the story even better. Just so much love and all the feels!
Now, I’m hoping Alex’s BFF Nick will get his own story next!

Thank you to Catherine Bybee, Brilliance Audio, and NetGalley for allowing me to listen to a free eaudio ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Trite and predictable but as full of heart as a corporate setting in SoCal can be. The family all supporting each other was great, but no one seemed to have a whole lot of personality. Except Nick, but that was his entire job as the token flaming gay bff. Overall a good story but not great. Narrator was fine.

This is the 3rd book in a series yet I was able to read it as a stand-alone with absolutely no problem. I am adding the first 2 books to my TBR.
One of the things I really enjoyed about this story is female being the billionaire instead of the standard male protagonist. The story kept me entertained and guessing about the mystery thread. Perhaps if I had read the first 2 books, I would have figured it out sooner - but I really enjoyed the journey to get there.
While I've not read a lot of this author's back list. I am a fan of her and her stories.
Thank you to NetGalley for the ALC!

I love this series, and I was so happy to see Alex (Alexandrea Stone) get her own love story. If you haven’t had a chance to read books one & two, I highly recommend you do so. Each book is about a Stone Sibling. They are children of a despicable and distant father who happened to be a billionaire. Now that he’s gone, they have inherited the business and the billions.
Alex, with her whip-smart intellect and striking beauty, is a force to be reckoned with. As the current CEO of the business, she exudes a certain stone-cold (no pun intended) demeanor. When threats are made on her life, a special bodyguard is put on her detail, Hawk Bronson.
The chemistry between Alex and Hawk is not just palpable, it's electrifying. But they both have jobs to do, and the tension is taken up to new levels as Hawk's past secrets present new obstacles for their budding romance.
This is a favorite series of mine, and it’s bittersweet to see it come to an end. It's a perfect blend of business and pleasure, accompanied by great family dynamics. The Stone siblings are unforgettable characters, and I’ll miss spending time with them.
Thank you author @catherinebybee for this gifted book.
Thank you to @Brilliancepublishing for the gifted audiobook. Narrator Meg Sylvan does an amazing job with these characters, enhancing an already engaging story.

Catherine Bybee has been on my list for years because my Thea Linda LOVES her. I will still go back and give the weekday bride series a go.
I enjoyed this love story and the romantic suspense of it all, but I found it a bit traditional for my taste. The love story was basically two attractive people are attracted to each other... and it definitely fell into some "traditional" (code: conservative) molds that just lost me. Felt VERY 2011!!! Don't get me started on the cliche af gay best friend............ And the bad guy was so obvious to me, I wish it could have been a more exciting twist.
But I'll probably go back and listen to the rest of the books in this series because it was a fun listen for work (even though I didn't care about the couple at all).

Catherine Bybee is the queen of great romances! Whenever I start one, I just can’t stop! This book, this series is no exception. This book is so well written! I love love love the Stone family. I was so excited for Alex’s story. Alex has been the steady one since their father died. She’s been the main person keeping the business afloat. She’s a workaholic that has resigned to never having a person. When her life might be in jeopardy in walks bodyguard Hawk Bronson. He’s as good at his job as he is gorgeous. This book was so much fun to listen to! Hawk and Alex have been my favorite couple so far. The author did a fantastic job with the sizzling sexual tension and the conflict to keep me glued to my headphones. This book is one of my favorite books this year so far. Narrator, Meg Sylvan, does a phenomenal job voicing all the characters. I forget there isn’t a man voicing Hawk’s part. She really brought this book to life. I received this book from Brilliance Publishing and Netgalley. All opinions are my own

This book is a wonderful romance with a very, very good mystery/suspense element. As the end of this trilogy, it did not disappoint. Please read the other two books in this trilogy. Trust me. You really want to read, or listen to, the first two books to get the full impact of this one. The narration by Meg Sylvan was wonderful and added to the telling of this story. Her characterizations were spot on and made the characters come alive. I love a strong, take-charge hero and Hawk is all that and more. Alex starts out as a workaholic, driven heroine with no room in her life, but circumstances make her reevaluate that life course. Her siblings and their significant others play a part in the story too. They became a real family.
When Alex Stone's father died, she didn't shed a tear. But she cried plenty at the mess he left behind. 16-hour days were barely adequate to right everything wrong with Stone Enterprises and with the Board fighting everything Alex, Chase and Max wanted to do - who wouldn't shed a tear of frustration. A bomb threat at the company changes everything.
A corporate meet and greet turns out to be something very different and Alex meets Hawk Bronson, a paid security operative for the event. He interrupts a situation that didn't look right and makes a big impression on Alex. Neither can forget the impact of the other and when a bomb threat is leveled against Stone Enterprises and Alex in particular, she calls him to evaluate their security. Alex becomes her personal security, and these two strong personalities have an interesting transition.
Finding the person responsible for the threats leads Alex and Hawk to discover a lot of deeply held secrets concerning her father and to confirm to Alex that inheriting a multi-million-dollar company was not really a gift. Especially not when the secrets put the company and Alex in danger. Hawk knew when he first saw Alex in danger that she was going to be a whole lot more than an assignment for him. Even with his past, he was helpless when it came to the powerful feelings she aroused in him. He would do whatever it took to keep her safe.
My thanks to the Publisher and Author for providing a complimentary digital Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) of this novel via NetGalley. This is my fair, honest and personal review. All opinions are mine alone and were not biased in any way.

Thank you NetGalley and Brilliance Publishing for the Audio ARC

Catherine Bybee is the queen of low angst, happy, cozy romances that end with a satisfying HEA.
I have loved listening to this entire series. Hawk and Alex ‘s story was definitely my favorite. I have adored her character since the beginning and it was a joy to listen to her finally have the love affair she deserved.
I love how this family evolved and grew throughout the series. The ending was surprising and is wrapped up with a bow. I will miss this family.
Meg Sylvan narrating was exceptional as always. ❤️

No More Yesterdays is the third book in The Heirs series, but it was actually my first Catherine Bybee read. I’m usually hesitant about single-narrator audiobooks, but Meg Sylvan pulled it off so well that I got into the story really fast.
I enjoyed the bodyguard/client trope here. Hawk was such a badass — protective, intense, but never overbearing. And Alex? A smart, independent woman, even if a little naive sometimes. Their chemistry was strong, and I loved watching their connection grow.
There’s suspense and mystery layered in the plot, which kept things moving. I hadn’t read the first two books, but Alex’s family dynamics were still easy to follow and made me want to check out the earlier ones.
All in all, it was a fast-paced, solid romance with a satisfying HEA — the kind of story you can just relax into.
Thank you to NetGalley, Brilliance Publishing, and the author for the ALC — this is my honest opinion.

Catherine Bybee delivers a compelling and emotionally charged story in No More Yesterdays, blending family drama with high-stakes suspense in a way that’s both gripping and satisfying. At the center of the novel is Alex, a strong and sympathetic heroine whose life is thrown into chaos as secrets emerge and the threat against her and her family intensifies.
Bybee’s storytelling shines through her ability to steadily unravel the mystery while keeping the reader fully engaged. The plot is rich with twists and well-timed revelations, offering just the right amount of detail without ever slowing the pace. The characters are well-developed, and the emotional stakes feel real, making it easy to invest in their journey. No More Yesterdays is a standout read that leaves you wanting more from this world and the people in it—an excellent addition to Bybee’s already impressive body of work.

I just love this series, the characters, the writing and the surprises that pop up. This book 3 did not disappoint.
I love how each book centers on one sibling but in the end you are getting to see what’s going on with everyone.
While you don’t need to read the books in order, it’s definitely nice to have some of the back story even though it’s easily added in, in each book.
I had both the audiobook and book to read but mostly listened to it. As always the narrator, Meg Sylvan,is perfect for this series.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the audio and ebook arcs.

I love this series. The characters, the storyline, the writing…just all of it. The narration was terrific and added to the experience. The three siblings are all trying to keep the business going, trying to figure out who is friend or foe, who is trying to kill Alex, the focal point of this book. She is dealing with running the company she never wanted from a father who was only called that by definition, trying to deal with the misogyny of being a powerful business woman, that it is highly unlikely she will find a her own happily ever after with a man and family and that the life she lived before is gone forever. What she wasn’t expecting were death threats and a target on her back. In walks Hawk, who saved her once and is now her full time bodyguard. I loved their story, the resolutions and the entire family. I surely hope this isn’t the end of the series. I listened from start to finish and was a little bummed because it was over.
