My nephew is a bit of a reluctant reader and I'm always looking for books to get him interested. Maybe because he's in the youtube short generation, but it can be a little challenging to get him to read longer stories.

This book was kind of perfect. I sat down with him, figuring we could alternate asking each other questions, but he was so invested that he just read every question to me. It was a lot of fun for both of us. Not only did he read, but he shared random stories and we discussed the logistics for each one. It was very engaging. Also, another huge plus is that I don't have to google to come up with ideas like I usually do when we play this game.

As for the questions themselves, they range from "oh, I'd rather wish for death than having to select from those two choices." to "actually, I'd try that willingly". I'm looking at you, pickle milkshake. I'm legitimately curious.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC. This was a lot of fun.

Though the questions are really gross I can see the appeal for children. This also opens up conversations and asking why certain answers are picked. You and your family will laugh a lot and even make up your own would you rather questions. Lots of fun for the whole family.

My sons, ages 6 1/2 and 7 1/2 love bathroom humor, and this series of books is right up their alley. They love to think of the silliest scenarios, and laugh together. I highly recommend this series for anyone who doesn't mind their kids reading a little gross, bathroom humor. There are scenarios that might cause someone with a sensitivity to food spoilage or gross imagery to gag, and some things might be less appropriate than others. Kids will love this!

Kids will love this. Super gross but fun. Got pretty repetitive quickly and some questions didn't really make sense. Overall a fun way to spend 30 mins!

This book is GREAT for getting conversation flowing! It would be something ideal to bring on a car ride to ask your spouse & kids questions to see how funny everyone’s answers are and to hear their reasoning. The layout of the book is clear and simple so it would be just as fun for the kids to be the ones to ask the car’s occupants the “Would You Rather” questions as well.

Consider this book as one creative way to get to know your kids even better as well as a chance for some fun family bonding.

Thank you to Penguin Random House for the opportunity to review this ARC copy!

My five year old son loves asking me would you rather questions! This book was a huge hit with him! The grosser the question the better in his opinion. This book had my son and I both laughing. It also made for a great opportunity to discuss why we picked the things we did! If you know a kiddo who loves gross things, then I definitely think they’ll enjoy this book!

I read this to my family on a road trip and it was entertaining. Some were funny and some were very gross. It got a little repetitive feeling at times, but overall everyone enjoyed making these hard choices.

This book was so fun for my kiddos, aged 5 and 7. They giggled at a lot of the prompts and wanted to explain their answers which led to silly, fun chats. A few of them weren’t that funny/silly just truly gross but that’s just an adult’s opinion. When we had to stop playing they demanded more :)
