Never Been Witched was such a cute little witchy mystery! I didn't realize this was the third book in the series, which didn't impede my reading whatsoever, and cannot wait to dive into the rest of the series!

I just finished Never Been Witched and I’m feeling spiritually haunted (in the good way) and emotionally attacked (also in a good way??)
We’re back in the Starfall Point universe and it feels like slipping into your favourite thrifted velvet cloak - comfy, slightly cursed, but full of heart. Alice Seastairs is giving ✨sunshine with a side of supernatural trauma✨ and I am eating it UP. She’s avoiding her coven (relatable), secretly saving everyone (classic), and falling for a man in an expensive suit who absolutely should not be that charming (unacceptable. I love him).
Collin Bancroft? Filthy rich, tragically polite, emotionally available?? Where do I file a haunting request so I can move into his hotel?? The romance is sweet, cozy, and has just the right amount of swoony hallway ghost-chases turned makeout sessions.
Also. THE GHOSTS. The chaotic, lovable, emotionally damaged ghosts. I missed this spectral disaster family more than I thought possible. Plover remains my favourite supernatural scene-stealer and I will protect him with my LIFE.
There’s mystery, magical inheritance drama, and some truly unhinged citrus decor (which is frankly the most unforgivable crime). And let’s not forget the ancient magical family with evil plans and truly zero chill.
Underneath all the magic, though, this book has big feelings- grief, healing, self-worth, complicated family ties, and finding joy even when you feel like you don’t deserve it. Basically it had me laughing, swooning, AND tearing up like a fragile little spell jar.
Can’t wait to see where we go next with this series!

Shy, sunshiney small-town antiques expert and full-time witch-slash-ghost wrangler catches feelings for the charming, perfectly polished customer in an expensive suit as they work together to renovate his family's historic (and definitely haunted) hotel.
When I requested this book from NetGalley, I did not realize that it was book 3 in a series. This did not make reading it difficult, but there were a few things that I was confused about. It was a cute story, but I would have liked to see more of the romance between Alice and Collin. I enjoyed this book and would go back and read books 1 and 2! I'd give this one 3 1/2 stars - read it if you like cozy mysteries, romance, or enjoyed the other two books in the series.

Loved this book! I love the island coven and their ghostly residents. In this novel, we get to see Alice finally have a confrontation with her grandparents. She's stressed out, yet is distracted by Collin, a sexy new(ish) island resident. Their romance is sexy, even as they're fighting evil - of both the human and ghostly variety.
The coven faces a series of confrontations that has them fighting for their lives and the future of Shadow House.
Fans of the genre will love this book. While part of a series, this is a stand alone novel, however, it's so good that you really to yourself to read them all. I'm already looking forward to the next book. The author is on my must read authors' list.

Thank you for this arc!
I found Never Been Witched a really cozy read that definitely got me excited for the Fall season! Definitely liked the witchy and little mystery romance vibes. The characters were likable enough but I feel like they were a little lackluster at times…but I enjoyed it nonetheless!

I did and immersion reading of the arc and audible. They are slightly different. There are of course more details in the book rather than the audible. It’s also my first book by this author and thus I haven’t read the other two books in the series. The cozy romance with a twist of murder mystery has me intrigued to go back and read the others.

3.75 Stars. Well written little cozy witchy novel. If you are looking for something pleasant and sweet with a magical twist, this is for you.

I appreciate the opportunity to read this title, but unfortunately it didn’t quite capture my interest. While the premise was promising, I found it difficult to stay engaged. That said, I’m sure it will find its audience with readers who connect more strongly with the writing style or pacing.
