Thank you NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for this arc.
Unfortunately this didn't really work for me. Partially my fault as I didn't realise some of the plot would rely so heavily on what I assume has happened in the previous books but also the romance was very fast it didn't feel like there was any build up to it.
I enjoyed learning about some of the ghosts stories and the relationships she forms with the ghosts and has already got with her coven.
I think if you have already read and enjoyed the previous books in this series you would enjoy this but if you haven't read the series before go and start with book 1 so by the time you get to this one the plot makes more sense.

I didn't know this was the third book in a series! I just read the description of this novel then proceeded to request it, since it was something I would definitely pick up.
Nevertheless, I still pushed through and read it, even though I felt like I lacked certain context- I still enjoyed it.
It had all the elements I liked
- small town
-cozy witchy vibes
-paranormal/ supernatural mystery
-a sunshine fmc (Alice)
-a cute & polite mmc (Collin)
- & of course, banter
Highly enjoyable!!
Thank you to the author, the publishing company & netgalley for this arc!

This is the third book in the series and I feel may be the weakest as far as plot and hero go.
The writing is, as always from Ms. Harper, excellent, but Alice's grandparents and the woman from the library were a little too over the top to be believable. And the hero was a bit...wishy washy for me.
Sorry.

This was a quick and cute little witchy read.
I didn't love the characters though, I really couldn't connect to them. They felt a bit flat to me and so did their chemistry at times. I think I disliked Alice, our FMC, more than the MMC. She just felt too insecure. And I get why, but it just kind of got in the way of a lot for me. I just wish it didn't seem like it was her entire personality, I guess is what I'm saying. It worked well with what was going on with Colin (MMC) at times, but it felt a bit repetitive to me too. They were also a bit on the insta-love side of things for my taste, but they explain it away with having to do with magic. I don't know, it just felt annoying and childish.
I did want a little more oomph to the mystery as well. I love the kind of mystery it is, I like that it's a spooky one, but I just wanted a bit more from the conclusion of it. It felt a little too clean, a little too I-needed-a-conclusion. (I don't know if that makes sense, it makes sense in my head.) Maybe I just needed more bad guy build up overall.
This did definitely have cute moments, witchy vibes, and some spooky situations...but I do think that this story would've worked out better with different kinds of characters. I know that plenty of people will enjoy this book, I am just really picky when it comes to romances and mysteries, so when they're combined, you can imagine how much pickier I get.
Thanks to NetGalley for the e-ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review! My Goodreads review is up and my TikTok (Zoe_Lipman) review will be up at the end of the month with my monthly reading wrap-up.

Never Been Witched was fun! It was a super good story, and the characters were all likable. There was just enough suspense and drama without it being overwhelming.
This is the third in a series, and while it says it is an interconnected standalone, I think it would have been helpful for me to have read the other two books first. But I enjoyed it enough that I will probably go back to read the first two books.
Very entertaining and quick read!

Magnificent conclusion to the trilogy! There were surprises, deaths, romance - this novel had it all. Alice had shocking aspects (you go, girl!) that added some spice.
I loved this series and loved the book. Can’t wait for more!

The Starfall Point trilogy wraps up with Alice finally getting her moment in the spotlight—and it did not disappoint! 🌙
This book ties together so many threads from the previous two books in such a satisfying way. I’ve been waiting for Alice’s story since book one, and seeing her step into her own power while also falling for Collin was exactly what I wanted. Their connection was instant, but watching it deepen while chaos unfolded on the island made it even better. 💕
The mix of romance, humor, and just the right amount of spooky kept me hooked. From mysterious ghosts (yes, we finally learn the truth about the blob ghost 👻) to long-buried secrets, there was never a dull moment. I especially loved how the friendships and coven bond were as important as the romance—it gave the story so much heart.
And that ending… Molly Harper, I see what you did there 👀 Here’s hoping this isn’t really the last time we visit Starfall Point!
Tropes you’ll find:
🧙♀️ Witchy romance
🏝️ Small-town island setting
👻 Paranormal mystery
💕 Instant connection
💬 Banter & humor
🫶 Strong female friendships
🏚️ Haunted hotel vibes
Thank you NetGalley, SOURCEBOOKS Casablanca & Molly Harper for the ARC ✨

I’ve been waiting for Alice’s story and it did not disappoint. I devoured this book in one day then read it again because it was just that good. Molly writes so truly amazing characters. This book was truly magical.. I can’t wait to see what Molly writes next!!

We're back in Starfall Point, Michigan, with a coven of witches in this latest novel. The story centers on Alice Seastairs, a character with truly awful grandparents. They treat her terribly, and I seriously wanted to reach into the book and slap them! They act as though she's an investment who can never do enough to earn their love.
Initially, Alice allows this mistreatment, but it's incredibly satisfying to see her finally stand up for herself. Her connection with Colin Bancroft definitely helps. I really enjoyed their instant attraction and the healthy communication in their relationship. The ghosts and other witchy elements also added a lot to the story.
The author's writing is so immersive that it feels like you're living through the events yourself. After spending hours devouring the book, my husband asked me about my day, and I realized I felt stressed—not from my own life, but from the book's events! I'm a big fan of this author and can't wait to read what she writes next.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC
I didn’t realize this was the third book in a trilogy when I started reading, and wish I had read the first two books, but I did still enjoy this read. This was a fun and cozy paranormal mystery romance, and I adored Alice and Collin. I think I will go back and read the first two books and then finish up with a re-read of this one to pick up on all the small details I’m sure that I missed.

I am always in the mood for a witchy story. I liked this well enough but it was just okay. The romance was flat for me but I liked that we got to read from both perspectives. Also I love a slow burn romance but what do you mean they are not in love yet by the end??

This is a book three and I love this adorable quirky series. We get to see the story of Alice a quiet member of the coven. This books takes place inside and around the antique stores in town. Alice is immediately attracted to Collin who is open and smooth and helps save Alice and make her feel like she fits in. I loved catching up with Riley and Caroline and how things are progressing at Shadow House. Our overall storyline progresses and lots of fun and tense things happen. This cozy coven is fun and hilarious and I highly recommend for a quick fun read.

I’m sorry but I had to dnf @30%
I just couldnt get into this book
I do feel like there is an audiance for this story
That’s why I give it 3 stars

A sunshiny witch who also is also an antiques expert/ghost wrangler finds herself falling for a charming customer while she helps him renovate his historic (slightly haunted) hotel. Alice is a witch who is an outcast to her coven and she's done it to herself to keep her sisters safe. She's now in search of the final missing Welling locks and a way to help the ghosts she sees... but when a new client comes into town who is as handsome as he is kind. He needs her help to his hotel which also happens to be haunted. Yet as they begin falling for each other... his own delusional ex might be coming in town as well as the ancient magical family arrives trying to use the ghost for their own evil plans. Small town romance with ghosts, crazy exes, and more. This sadly was not for me. I really wish I could like this more but it just didn't work for me, especially the romance. Alice and Collin's relationship just never worked for me and the fact that Collin essentially had zero spine and never stood up for himself just infuriated me. I was just so sick and tired of him and wanted better for Alice. I also felt like there could have been more for the actual storyline but it just kind of bored me throughout it.

*Thanks Netgalley and SOURCEBOOKS Casablanca | Sourcebooks Casablanca for sending me an arc in exchange for an honest review*

Book 03 of the Starpoint trilogy, and it’s safe to say I loved every minute of it. Harper’s writing was easy to read and hard to put down. She weaves the storyline’s together effortlessly and with a practiced ease that you have to admire.
The book follows Alice, a sheltered witch struggling to break out of the shell of who she was, and Collin, not your typical millionaire.
If you are looking for something fun and entertaining with a little bit of spice then this is the book for you.

Positives -
- interesting setting and profession ON TOP of the fmc being. literally, a witch
- a different familial dynamic
- funny ghosts
What didn’t work-
- I don’t feel like I’m doing myself or the book justice by not reading the others in the series first. I was confused and weirded out by things that I’m likely just missing context for. Soooo many references to previous events.

Alice Seastairs runs her grandparent’s antiques shop in the small lake town of Starfall Point, Michigan. She is also a witch/ghost wrangler, who along with her sister witches are trying to find the remaining Welling lock so they can ensure the safety of the ghosts at Shaddow House. Alice loves her sister witches, but lately she has been pulling away from them because she is ashamed of herself and scared of them rejecting her when they learn she has unwittingly given information about their coven to her former lover. A chance meeting with Collin Bancroft the new owner of the Duchess hotel, sets a lot of things in motion, and gives her new opportunities in not only her career, but in her love life too.
Collin Bancroft has made some bad choices in his life, but he has put his bad boy ways behind him and has purchased a hotel that was built by his family with plans to restore it to its former glory. He never expected to find romance or ghosts, but he has found both and life will never be the same! Throw in an ex-fiancée who still thinks they are destined to be together, some entitled family members and Collin will have to work hard to find his way to happily ever after.
This was a well-written, nicely paced story with wonderful, relatable characters. I loved Alice and Collin, they have both known immense grief and toxic relationships, but have each handled it differently, Alice by bowing to her nasty grandparents and Collin by becoming a “bad boy”. I loved how Alice finally stood up for herself, but I thought Collin was a little bit too beta and needed to say “No” like he meant it, but I still liked him. This was a new to me author and I jumped into the ending of a series without a clear understanding of the ongoing story in that series – but the author did a great job of filling in the backstory without losing track of the current story, so other than wanting to go back and read the previous books, I had no problem following this story.
*I am voluntarily leaving a review for an eARC that I requested and was provided to me by the publisher/author. All opinions in this review are my own. *

Cozy romance with very fun main characters; I liked the male and female mc. However, I was not connecting with side people, too many names but nothing that made them stick out to me that I could remember who was who. There's an intrigue in the beginning of the book with ghosts and mysterious objects, but there was nothing introducing enough of a plot; no hook in the first 20% of the book and it struggled to hold my interest. 3/5 stars.

This series gets better with every book.
Jump right back on to Starfall Point as we follow along with Alice, some secrets she’s been keeping, a new love interest, and the answer to who’s been pulling the strings behind the Welling lock problems.
I just loved the dynamic between these characters - especially Mina and Josh. Between the sarcastic banter and heartwarming found family atmosphere - Plover, we love you - this read had me immersed.
The end reveal surprised me in more ways than one, which I love in a book. While I imagine this series has come to an end, I could just read more and more books to keep me on Starfall Point.
Thanks NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for an ARC of this book.
