Cozy next book in the Nantucket Restaurant series. We follow Emma, Mandy, and Jill, as well as a few of the secondary characters as Christmas approaches at the restaurant.

This was a sweet, cozy read that I very much enjoyed. I really felt like I was spending the Christmas season on Nantucket. The descriptions of the island, the holiday preparations, and the lives of the sisters made me not want the book to end.

Thank you Netgalley and Sourcebooks Landmark for the ARC!

Title: Christmas at the Nantucket Restaurant
Author: Pamela Kelley
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Another visit to Nantucket and this time at Christmas makes for a magical, wintry treat. We revisit the sisters, Emma, Mandy, and Jill, as they enjoy time together on the picturesque island leading up to Christmas Day. New relationships are highlighted and traditions of the island are celebrated.

Takeaways:
1. Goodreads shows an original publication date of December 2020. So this is another republication of one of Kelley’s Nantucket books.
2. This is a short Hallmark type story that is not only perfect for Christmas, but a welcome wintry break in the heat of summer.

Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Landmark for the advanced copy. Opinions expressed are my own. This book will be published on October 7, 2025.

First published December 2020, looks like it might be republished again Oct 2025.

I recently read The Nantucket Restaurant, so the characters were still pretty fresh in my mind when having the opportunity to read the "advance read copy" of Christmas at the Nantucket Restaurant. (It did seem to me that there were a lot of characters.)

I'm not sure what is wrong with me, but I think it is wonderful to have the opportunity to read "advance read" copies of Christmas books while I'm sweating away in my garden in August (I use text to voice and headphones).

I did enjoy getting to know some of the many characters in this Nantucket Restaurant series a little better.

Many thanks to NetGalley and publisher Sourcebooks Landmark for approving my request to read the advance read copy of Christmas at the Nantucket Restaurant in exchange for an honest review. Approx 272 pages for (re)release in Oct 2025.

While this is just a buffed up version of her self-published Christmas novel, "Christmas at the Nantucket Restaurant" was a refreshed book two that was really good.

This is another great story by Pamela Kelley. I recently read The Nantucket Restaurant and loved the family and their struggles running the restaurant. I knew this book had been released a while ago, but hit request as soon as it popped up on NetGalley. A few new characters but still the same great book. Nantucket stories are right out of a hallmark movie. Thanks NetGalley for an arc.

Reading this book was like visiting with old friends at Christmastime! It is a heartwarming story about family, love, and tradition. The author introduces new characters while bringing in characters from past books in the Nantucket series. The characters are relatable and you truly feel like you know them by the end of the book.

Like other books set at Christmas-time on Nantucket, Christmas at the Nantucket Restaurant is a warm, easy holiday read that feels like a trip to the island during its Christmas Stroll. It’s just what I expected & just what I love! The story follows sisters Mandy and Emma as they prepare for the holiday season at their family restaurant, Mimi’s Place. Emma is enjoying her first Christmas with Chef Paul, while Mandy is figuring out life as a single mom and slowly opening up to the idea of new love. The book also follows a few other locals, including bartender Gina, whose quiet winter gets a lot more interesting when someone from her past shows up. This is a light, cozy story about family, friendship, and a little romance set against a festive Nantucket backdrop. It’s a quick, feel‑good read that’s perfect for a December weekend

The holiday season brings visitors from all over to the tiny and charming island of Nantucket to experience the magical Holiday Stroll. This year, sisters Emma, Mandy and Jill are pulling out all the stops at their restaurant, Mimi’s Place, to make it a memorable holiday for everyone. Emma and Paul, the head chef, are celebrating their first Christmas after reuniting earlier in the year, and Mandy will be experiencing her first holiday as a single parent. Jill and Billy are spending a month on the island, away from the hustle and bustle of New York City, so they can enjoy all the island has to offer.

Could love be in the air for Mandy and a certain handsome fisherman, who only has eyes for this busy single mom? Gina, their bar manager and a relative newcomer to Nantucket, has two handsome men, vying for her attention. What a problem to have!! Which lucky man will win her heart? A few of the islanders had fallen on hard times but a mysterious benefactor stepped in to save the day! The unforgettable island of Nantucket welcomes one and all, especially at Christmas, and I know that Emma, Mandy and Jill will find the happiness that comes with being together on the island of hopes and dreams. Happy Holidays!!

Christmas AND a beautiful, cozy Nantucket backdrop? It’s the makings of a Hallmark Christmas movie. Christmas at the Nantucket Restaurant was an easy read and required minimal effort from the reader, from constant reminders of who the characters were to how they were related. If you’re just looking for a simple, short story with relatively no conflict to read over the holidays, this book will delight.

I received this ARC from NetGalley in exchange for my review. Opinions are my own.

The sequel to The Restaurant by Pamela Kelley. I do 100% recommend reading the first one first. Even though it was pretty short it was a really good Christmas novel. I just love anything set on Nantucket and the Christmas stroll always sounds so amazing. Lots of drama and love in this book, but it really is a great follow up to the first book.

Thanks to NetGalley and Sourcebooks for a gifted copy in exchange for a honest review.

I LOVED this book! It had everything I love in a holiday book. It was so Christmas-y and cozy. It was fun to see what all the characters were up to after the first book. Highly recommend for a Christmas read, no spice and everything nice!! Thanks NetGalley for the ARC!

This is another great story by Pamela Kelley. I recently read The Nantucket Restaurant and loved the family and their struggles running the restaurant. I didn't realize that this book had been released a while ago, but hit request as soon as it popped up on NetGalley. I'm glad I read The Nantucket Restaurant first, as it is the backstory of why the sisters now own the restaurant. This one picked right up with them and the rest of the characters, friends and family as they continue their journey with the restaurant. I loved both of these books and I certainly hope there will be more to continue their story.

This novel is a sequel to The Restaurant, first published in 2020 and reissued as Ther Nantucket Restaurant in 2025. Similarly, this novel, Christmas at the Nantucket Restaurant, was originally published under an abbreviated title in 2020.

I enjoy Pamela Kelley’s novels for their wholesomeness without being overly naïve in character development. For fun, I reread The Restaurant to put this Christmas offering in context. I was surprised to find that I enjoyed it more. This recent book is missing the richness and depth of the main characters’ backstories and therefore feels more superficial in nature. It is still a solid story with all the Nantucket flavor but does not measure up to the original.

My thanks to the author, the publisher, and NetGalley for the privilege of reviewing this book. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

This review is being posted immediately to my GoodReads account and will be posted on Amazon upon publication.

Christmas on Nantucket! The sisters are running Mimis Place and finding their way. Emma and Paul are together for their first Christmas and Mandy is spending her first Christmas as a single again. Jill and Billy are there for a month and maybe thinking of a new addition to their family . Gina is getting a new relationship and all is just good.

This was a fun 3.5 star read and I enjoyed reading about other characters from the Author's Nantucket books. I didn't realize this was first released in 2020 so it feels like some of the timing was a bit off and a bit confusing. The setting of Nantucket makes the book as this is a place I would love to visit and the Author does a super job of describing the area and the culture. The family interactions are heartwarming with a bit of sweet thrown in. I received an ARC in exchange for my review - thanks to the Author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity.

5 stars — Cozy, heartfelt, and full of holiday magic

I absolutely adored Christmas at the Nantucket Restaurant! Set during the island’s beloved Christmas Stroll, this story wraps you up in twinkle lights, delicious food, and the beautiful messiness of family and love during the holidays.

Emma and Paul are celebrating their first Christmas together as a couple, while Mandy—newly divorced and navigating single motherhood—is cautiously exploring a new relationship. Jill and Billy, balancing their busy NYC careers, return to the island for a month of family, food, and festive cheer. And then there’s Gina, the bar manager whose quiet Nantucket winter suddenly gets a lot more interesting when someone from her past shows up… just as the charming new sous chef takes her under his wing.

I loved how each storyline was woven with care and heart, offering a little something for everyone: romance, second chances, sisterhood, and that warm, cozy holiday feeling. This book is a celebration of starting over, leaning into the magic of the season, and finding joy in the unexpected.
