This book is beautifully created and linguaphiles will definitely enjoy browsing through this tome; if you want something to keep by your bedside/coffee table to browse through, this would fit the bill.

That being said--I was incredibly disappointed with the section on Swiftie culture. Comparing Easter eggs to Qanon clues is disturbing and gross. The variant discussion is tiresome, as other artists have released many more variants than Taylor did for TTPD. The whole section just had a weird tone that the other ones did not have. Just really killed my enthusiasm for the book, because this was one of my most anticipated reads.
