A solid music themed boy's love manga about the romance between stoic guitarist Gen and playful vocalist Mike from two rival bands, Eve and Adam. The relationship between the two felt like it developed pretty naturally, and I enjoyed getting a peek into their lives.

Shout loud my hear is a really sweet one shot BL manga that is perfect if you are trying to find your first one to read and even if you are an avid yaoi reader/enjoyer. It folows Gen who is the head guitarist in his band named Eve. One night at one of his gigs he meets a fan of his outside named Mike. Mike is the lead singer in a rival band called Adam. his amazing voice lures people too him including his new friend gen.

thank you netgalley for the e-arc of this manga! I absolutely ate this up. this is such a wholesome BL manga about two rockers in college bands falling in love and I was here for it. both characters are cute and different enough to make it interesting

The story was sweet, I wish it was a longer as I’d love to learn more about the bands and Gen and Mika’s relationship.
The relationship built up well and was a healthy growth between the two. Overall a lighthearted short read

This was a quick and cute read! It wasn't my favorite Boys Love per se but that's likely just a taste thing. The musical manga don't speak to me as much as other settings and tropes. The grumpy x sunshine is always a hit regardless. The art is wonderful though! Especially the scenes we all read these for hehe. It's definitely something I'd grab one of for my shelves. Thank you to Netgalley and Kodansha for the ARC!

eye catching art work, fun flow or pannels, and amazing and unique character designs. the story had me hooked before I even began reading. a fun and unique plot and a beautiful story of self discovery.

I thought this was a sweet, quick read and I really enjoyed it!
This is a BL manga about two rivals in different bands - they meet at a show and begin to fall in love.
The graphics are amazing, the character designs are well done - it's easy to tell who's who in this novel.
The wall pin was my favourite scene, I had to take a minute.
I loved how the character development between the main characters.

First off, the star of this comic is absolutely the art style. The characters are absolutely gorgeous and I stopped to admire them fairly frequently.
The story is sweet too. I do think at the end, it felt really abrupt, and I kind of wish this was a duology instead of a single volume story.

A cute, light-hearted BL manga focused on the relationship developing between two "rival" band members. I liked the build up of their feelings, with some really sweet stuff at the end. The musician aspect was well incorporated. A pretty cozy read. Just the kinda thing you finish with a smile on your face if you're into this kind of manga.
I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This manga was so adorable! I loved the plot, and the characters looked so pretty ♡ I would have loved to read more, but it was cute, even if it was short. Mika and Gen have stolen my heart ♡ I really love manga about music and bands, so I knew I’d love this one as well.

This short story was very cute. It had little plot but that did not make it less enjoyable. The art style is beautiful. I always enjoy a grumpy-sunshine story. I did not so much like the insta-love but on the other hand, how much can you do in such a limited amount of pages. Overall a cute couple, but the story could have been more exciting.

I really liked this one! Mika and Gen had really good chemistry, which was portrayed extremely well in the drawings.
I loved the theme of music and it connecting the two and being the foundation of their love for each other... I especially loved the moments where we got to see a performance and it seemed like the music transferred a message from Gen's to Mika's mind, I don't know how else to describe it.
I honestly would have loved for this book to be longer and to get more time with the two main characters but also their friend groups/bands!
There where two tiny little things that I have some criticism on:
1. There were 1-2 moments where the scene switched and it came across a bit abrupt, and I had to take a second go back a page and reorient myself in the storyline.
2. Some drawings seemed unfinished? Idk if its a creative choice but in a few panels Gen's hair (and one time his previously black sweatshirt) was not black but instead it was black and white checkered.. as if the author forgot to fill it in? But that has nothing to do with the story line which was really great:) and maybe it'll get fixed before publication
thank you netgalley for letting me read this<3

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC i really liked the cover and the plot sounded interesting i will say at times this story got lost and was a little all over the place but i did enjoy the romance and the music aspect of this graphic novel and it had some spice. I feel as if this graphic novel was a little longer it would have been a lot better because more of the story and relationship between the two would have been explored more. I thought the artwork was good as well.

I loved this! BL manga is a weakness anyway but two different bands named Adam and Eve respectively. Yes please. This was a fun read. I loved Mika so much. He's adorable and I loved grumpy Gen as well.

Shout Loud, My Heart is BL about two musicians, who both play in bands. Gen plays guitar in a rock band called Eve and Mike is a singer for Adam. The two guys meet and soon sparks fly and everyone roots for them. There's no real drama and the manga is just overly sweet without anything to say. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but there's no character growth and that's a bummer. I do enjoy music as a theme and rival band mates with sexual chemistry is always a great thing, but now there's no spark (or it's diluted in water). I wish more time had been used to depict the characters so they wouldn't be so one-dimensional.
The art looks quite nice and even the playing works. There aren't enough music themed BL stories either, so I have to give credit for that at least. Shout Loud, My Heart is cute and heartwarming, but offers nothing new and thus it will stay as another average BL story. The cover is surely good looking though.

I really enjoyed this manga. It’s a pretty simple love story between a guitarist and a vocalist to two bands (not quite rivals but the bands are named Adam and Eve so that’s fun). The relationship develops quite quickly but I really enjoyed the visuals when they were playing music, especially when Gen is listening to Mike sing.

This book was gay af and I loved every minute of it! Sexy indeed and I need more of these characters. I want to know where their relationship takes them. Both MMC were so cute and I just wanted to pinch their cheeks!! The ONLY thing I disliked about this was the way it seemed to jump from chapter to chapter without actual breaks in the story. There were a few moments I found myself going back a page to make sure I didn't miss something because it would just jump ahead with no warning.

Ok I’ve never read manga before and figured why the hell not? This is why I love netgalley because it lets me try all kinds of different books I’d never pick up otherwise. It was a bit of learning curve for me ngl because I’m not used to reading comics right to left but once I figured it out I mostly enjoyed this. Gen and Mika are in rival bands cheekily named Adam & Eve. They each get asked to do battle of the bands but both bands are so popular that it becomes just a battle between them. I thought this was cute at times but also a bit too surface level for me. I had never read sex scenes in comic form before and I thought it was hot. The attention to detail? Loved it. I was auto approved by this publishing house so I look forward to reading more and also finding some other manga I will enjoy more.
I received an arc from netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Very cute BL one shot. I very much enjoyed the dynamic between the two main leads, and would love to see more of them, as well as the band.

Shout Loud, My Heart is a wonderful BL manga. Gen, the guitar player for the band Eve, is asked after a show to stay and listen to the band Adam by their singer Mike. Gen is awed by his singing and quickly becomes infatuated with Mike as the two spend more time together. There is a miscommunication that gets resolved through performing together, which was my favorite part of this one-shot. Thanks to Kodansha and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.
