This book was so fun, cute, and spicy with the perfect mix of everything! I was hooked from the very first page and couldn’t put it down!!!!!I I had such a blast reading this—it’s definitely my favorite in the series so far. I loved watching the story unfold and the little cameos from previous books were a nice touch. Packed with witty banter, some heat, and tons of tension, Revolve should definitely be on your TBR! I had fun!

Per usual, I loved this. Spiral was such a good follow up, you never know how the third book will go.

DYLAN DONOVAN IS THE ULTIMATE BOOK BOYFRIEND, & that’s saying a lot because normally I’m not a fan of the men who really get around. But these characters had so much depth to their trauma that it really made you feel for them & understand why they are the way they are.

I love that about Bal’s writing because it’s incredibly vulnerable & beyond sexy with sprinkles of fun, real-life, & struggles.

Revolve really came full circle with this couples journey of discovering what they want, what they’re capable of, & who is willing to be by their side through it all.

The spice was some of the best I’ve read, & the BANTER. Oh my gosh. Dylan & Sierra had such loud personalities that clashed & simultaneously meshed so well.

⭐⭐⭐⭐

Revolve is about ambition and resilience. We watch Sierra picking herself back, stronger than ever, and fall back in love with the sport that has always been a part of her and Dylan holding her hand throughout her journey, simultaneously finding his own peace and true calling. I absolutely adored Dylan and Sierra’s story, but I’m not surprised since I'm a sucker for figure skating couples.

The third book in the Off the ice series is coming out on October 14th and it’ll also feature a chaotic friend group and the couples from the previous books: I loved being able to return to Dalton and reunited with all the characters I loved in the previous books. Kian made me absolutely cackle!

Personally, I’m dying to know who the next book will focus on!!

I have been not so patiently awaiting this one. I loved this one so much. I loved the discussion of Dylan's reckless behavior and dealing with those consequences in a healthy way. It was really lovely to see these two people, one who is really scared and the other who is ready to finally start showing up for himself find their way to each other. Their love story was so tender.

I don't care what anyone says, I always have a great time reading Bal's books!

This one was fun, cute, spicy, and had the perfect blend of spice to story in it! Literally had me hooked from page one & I could not get enough of their story! I read this in one sitting & now will be patiently waiting for when it comes out so I can hold this baby in my hands! I had way too much fun reading this!

Thank you NetGalley for the eARC!

This book was ADDICTIVE! I haven't read the other books in the series yet and was really worried about going in blind but this felt so fresh and fun, I wasnt missing much. Now I have to read the other books and am hoping they exceed my high expectations. Ive been in the mood for a good sports romance that has tension, competition/challenge, and steamy main characters - this fulfilled all three tenfold!

OH MY HEART!!!! (first off the playlist for this book is SO GOOD the second I saw the playlist I knew I was about to be HOOKED)

Dylan and Sierra's journey of self discovery and healing was so sweet, and the way they helped each other along through every step made my heart squeeze. The character development they both had, both together and separately, was so pure and real. The way Sierra grew to become confident because of how much Dylan cared for her and built her up!!!! I will always absolutely devour banter when the fmc is a little mean and the mmc takes it and comes back with something sweet and this was no exception. For every fiery threat Sierra threw at Dylan he had a flirtatious response, and that my friends, had sitting in bed giggling and kicking my feet.

Listen, I will eat up a reformed playboy character every damn time, but something about sweet baby Dylan just had me on the verge of tears every time he was soft with Sierra. At first I was skeptical about how quickly he switched up his lifestyle but as the story progressed that initial switch was what lead to bigger growth. HIS PLAYLIST!!!!!!! THE LANTERN!!!!!!

Now Sierra, my black cat queen... she is me, I am her. She's intense, and has an attitude that most people would consider to be too much, but I see her (and so did Dylan), she doesn't let people see her anxiety and wants to be seen as a fierce force, but under all that she's an anxious mess who just wants to be loved and for someone to see has a warmth. Her growth through the entire book made ME proud, as if I was her best friend😭.

I will never look at a smiley face without thinking about Dylan and Sierra. Also, all the big and small Tangled references!!! SO CUTE!!

The timeline felt a little confusing at some points but it didn't really effect the plot or the momentum of their relationship in my opinion. The end conflict felt a little unnecessary for me, but that simply didn't effect the way I felt about the rest of the book.

I NEED KIAN AND SCARLETS BOOK RIGHT NOWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!

This is my favorite of the series so far. I loved seeing the story unfold and also the cameos from past books. I will absolutely be purchasing this one for our collection. Can't wait to share with new readers!

Revolve Honest ARC Review:

4.5⭐️
Okay this was really sweet and hugely romantic! The characters were relatable and had depth. I really enjoyed Revolve!

Sierra Romanova was an Olympian figure skater who experienced a devastating accident while performing with her former partner, Justin. Having completed recovery, Sierra hoped to reclaim her place in the world of figure skating.

Dylan Donovan was known around campus for his place on the hockey team and as the life of each party. After one exceptionally wild night, he has been suspended from his Hockey team for reckless behavior.

Being suspended from playing Hockey was unexpected and worrisome for Dylan, who had hoped to join the NHL draft. Dylan did train as a figure skater with his sister ADA while he was young. Could he find a loophole to his suspension and take up figure skating again? Add in some heartfelt resolve and obstacles, and you have yourself a winner storyline!

Filled with banter, a little spice and a lot of tension, Revolve should be on your TBR!

⭐️Sports Romance
⭐️He falls first
⭐️Slow Burn
⭐️Great Banter
⭐️Lovable FMC and MMC

Thank you so much for sharing this ARC with me! I really enjoyed it.

This felt like someone read Icebreaker and then tried to rewrite it from memory.

It gave first draft vibes. Spelling mistakes, weird structuring, half sentences all the way through and I just think for being available as an ARC we should be way past that stage.

The plot felt dragged on but rushed at the same time, we missed vital relationship development in place of weird spicy scenes that were like half finished.

Don’t get me wrong, I love a girlie that is mean as a love language and will gladly eat that up every single time.

I just hope this goes through an intense editing process before making it to the shelves for all my hockey romance girlies !!

(Thank you NetGalley for the e-Arc xx)

Bal Khabra delivers another knockout with Revolve, a gripping sports romance that blends intense emotion with undeniable chemistry. From the very start, I was drawn into Sierra and Dylan’s electrifying dynamic, where every moment crackles with tension and heart. Their love story unfolds with equal parts fire and fragility, keeping me fully invested long after the final page. This isn’t just a romance; it’s an experience that lingers.

I very much loved this characters. This whole series has won me over for sure. This book was special because I had been waiting to get to it since I read a reference to Sierra in book one. The character of Sierra’s as an ice skater had my attention. Mostly because I knew she had PTSD and other conditions she had to overcome to be a successful ice skater. I just loved her whole character arc and how she found a better version of herself and accepted all her faults. I was very excited to read about Dylan, the playboy turned ice skater. I loved seeing him do ice skating instead of hockey. He was so sweet the entire time and I definitely didn’t see this side of him before. I was very touched by this book. Great romance

Unfortunately this is one I had to DNF. The story felt similar to one’s I’ve read before and the characters relationship with one another sadly didn’t make sense to me. And although this is filled with many of the popular tropes and situations we’ve seen in NA and sport romance books of late, it didn’t hook me the way I had hoped it would.

But thank you so much to Berkley for my ARC.

You know that feeling when a book completely takes you by surprise—in the best possible way? That was Revolve for me. I’d never read anything by Bal Khabra before, so I went in with zero expectations… and ended up loving every bit of it!

This story brings together Sierra, a former figure skater recovering from a traumatic accident, and Dylan, a hot-headed hockey player facing suspension after a reckless move on the ice. Sierra is desperate to return to competitive skating but is left without a partner, while Dylan needs to clean up his act to earn back his place on the hockey team. Their worlds collide when they’re unexpectedly paired up for the skating season—and let’s just say, sparks definitely fly.

At first, I wasn’t sold on Dylan. He gave me the ick a little in the beginning (you’ll see what I mean), but he quickly grew on me, and by the end, I was fully rooting for him. The chemistry between Sierra and Dylan builds beautifully, and their relationship is anything but rushed. I loved how their connection unfolded over time—it felt earned, real, and emotionally satisfying.

Beyond the romance, the book shines with its found family elements. There’s something deeply comforting about the bonds Sierra and Dylan form along the way, and it gave the story a warm, cozy feel that I didn’t expect from a sports romance.

While it follows some classic romance beats, Revolve has a unique edge that makes it stand out. And can we talk about the third act? I’m usually pretty meh about that part of romance novels, but this one was so well-written and emotionally grounded—it actually worked for me!

If you're into sports romances or love a bold, determined FMC with a strong emotional arc, definitely pick this one up. Even if sports aren’t usually your thing, Revolve is worth the read. I’m so glad I gave it a chance—and now I’m excited to explore more from Bal Khabra! 💙

Thank you Netgelly for ARC.

Thank you to NetGalley for the arc! :)

This book follows Dylan and Sierra as they try and navigate challenges in their professional careers and we watch as they’re able to grow together as individuals, redefine what success means to them, and what things are considered a priority in their present life. To be honest the book was quite long, there was a point where I felt like we were writing scenes just for the sake of filling up pages rather than it adding to the plot. I didn’t feel as connected to these characters as I did the previous 2. But otherwise still enjoyable!

THIS BOOK WAS EVERYTHING!

Revolve is a sports romance between Sierra, a figure skater, and Dylan, a hockey player. Sierra is a pairs skater looking for a partner and after Dylan get suspended from hockey, they form a partnership that goes beyond figure skating.

I loved this story so much, the chemistry between Sierra and Dylan was unmatched. There was so much tension between the two of them from the start and Sierra was such a great FMC. While the characters and thier relationship was definetely a highlight, I also was hooked by the plot. The sports aspect was really well done and it didn't just feel like a background for the romance. The appearances from the rest of the hockey team and characters also made the story great, especially adding to the humor of the book.

Rating: 4.5/5

this is like every one of my favorite books wrapped in one. i made so many notes with other books that i was getting the same vibes of, and every single time it made me love this book more and more. this book changed the way i think about romance and it will now be a favorite of mine forever.

This book follows Sierra Romanova, a figure skater who went through a terrifying injury and is now getting back into the sport for herself and her career and Dylan Donovan, the problem child of the Dalton hockey team. He goes through some tribulations that lead to him and Sierra being figure skating partners. What will happen as they work together, begin to trust each other, and become closer than they ever thought?

Sierra is a true woman with anxiety. It's something that she struggles to accept which is true to a lot of women. It was really nice to see her be supported by someone who wanted her to be on medication if she needed it, someone who understood her fears on and off the ice, and someone who wasn't going to judge her for her mental health. I loved her so so so much! Sierra wasn't just fighting to get back to something she loved or back to the person she was, but it's also for her parents who were just the sweetest! There were times where I thought her anxiety might get the best of her but she was so strong! She put Dylan in his place and showed up for him when he needed it even when he wasn't expecting it.

Dylan stressed me out!! I just wanted my baby to be okay! The room change made my heart so happy I literally think I screamed. Such a perfect thing for a reformed playboy to do (my favorite trope). Dylan is the perfect example of I know you can do it yourself but I already did it so take the help. Like the sandwiches!! She needs food, won't feed herself and Dylan just makes more sandwiches and forces her to take a break to eat. He realized his mistakes and how they were waying on the people around them so he became a better person. He drank for a reason and he didn't feel seen by his friends, so when they help him he has a hard time understanding why. IT BROKE MY HEART MY BABY!! Aiden said he would help him because of the person he used to be, because that's his best friend. And it broke my heart for Dylan not to realize how quickly he went back to being that person.

Things I will never get over about this book (in no particular order):
- "We're having a quiet moment"
- "Tell me what you need, and I'll be that for you"
- SCARLETT AND KIAN!! SCARLETT AND KIAN!! SCARLETT AND MOTHER FUCKING KIAN! (and the promotion Kian got I literally am so proud of my sexy ass goofy man I can't wait for his book I am like a feral cat)
- "Dance for you this time"
- Kian playing "Wondering Why" for the above scene (literally bitch i love you)
- ALSO THIS PLAYLIST FUCKED!! IT ATE DOWN!! IT WAS SERIOUSLY ONE OF THE BEST BOOK PLAYLISTS I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED (my #1 favorite playlist is pretentious indie christmas songs from sadie gray - if you were wondering)
- "I didn't ask for your help" "I'm giving it to you anyway"
- He'd just made my chest burst open with his words, but he thinks this is all he's good at? (its giving Matthew Fredderic, it's giving i'm just the school slut right, its giving i cried)
- A PLAYLIST TITLED FIREFLY
- Just seeing her here, in my shower, a place where no one else has been, leaves me raw (LITERALLY HAVING HEART PALPIATIONS)
- "Don't say anything," he says quickly. "I know who I am, what everyone thinks of me. And I'm okay with it, if it means I get you like this. So fucking okay." (you can find me shattered into a million pieces on the floor)
- "Can I touch you, Dylan?" I don't think anyone's ever asked permission before. (AGAIN MATTY AND DYLAN ARE HERE TOGETHER YANKING MY HEART OUT OF MY BODY)
- Lidia said it was her favorite picture of us because no matter how much we argue we still subconsciously take care of each other.
-"Yeah, I'd like that. Our first time."
- THE PALM SMILEY FACES
- When he communicates, even in his most frustrated moments, he never yells.
- Because the way Dylan loves me makes me want to love myself for the first time. (YOU SHOULD BABY YOURE A GODDESS AMONG WOMEN)
- "Why do you think, Sierra?" (okay beach read!! okay my favorite emily henry book)

There's so much more that I absolutely adored about this book but I simply can't risk the spoilers. I felt so honored getting to read this ARC. This book is a work of art. It changed my brain chemistry, meaning to me, I will never live a day without having moments from this book run through my brain. The list of these books started in middle school and are few and far in between but this book deserves a spot there. Honestly Collide might too. Bal is a fantastic writer and I cannot wait to see what she does next. This is so exponentially beautiful, I can't say enough good things about it.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! To Berkley, to Bal, and to NetGalley for giving me this ARC in exchange for an honest review. I hope I did the book justice.

Round up to a. 4.
I have been so ready and thrilled to read this as a big fan of Bal Khabra work (especially collide) I was excited to see the mash up of another hockey book mixed with Tangled vibes. I overall enjoyed reading this but it was a very insta love vibe and didn't quite hold up to Collide and Spiral in comparison. It was still enjoyable and I loved the found family and the side characters throughout this book. There were some moments that were a bit wild like Dylan giving up his NHL career, I wish they found a way to do both or two both be together and live out their dream separately. It just felt a bit unrealistic and made me a bit sad tbh with Dylan giving everything up for a gal.

However, overall... It was a quick, fun, and entertaining read and I'll be recommending it.

I was super excited when I saw this cover! I'm not only an avid Bal Khabra fan, but a Tangled fan! Went in with super high expectations and hopes because of Collide and Spiral. And to be totally honest, it didn't live up to the hype. The relationship between the two just seemed to grow intense and very insta-lovey in such a fast way. Especially on Dylan's end. It didn't give the most believable when it comes to college age hockey players. Other than that, it did have the same fun and interesting college adventures that we all love with these types of books.

3.5 stars rounded up. I really like this series and how the author writes such great relationships and multi-faceted characters, but this book needed to be about 75 pages shorter. Far too long for a book centered around ice skating. Other than that, very cute
