He was a groveling man and I was all over it! My mean girl sierra was exactly what he needed in his life. I loved how he took care of her too, they literally balance each other out.
Ahh their little sentiments were so freaking cute, had me swooning baddd!

I enjoyed this one so much and I definitely think it’s up there with Collide for me!

Ate up all the Aiden and summer and Eli and Sage crumbs!!!! Pls tell me Kian’s book is next cause I’m so ready!!!

Oh my god! I loved every word, every page, every moment of this book! Sierra & Dylan are pure perfection. So relatable, so spicy, so endearing, so everything!!! It’s not this big build up to this huge climax but a well paced love story of patience, growth, and self love. Dylan’s charming and Sierras sass is everything I needed. Their chemistry is undeniable and soooooooooooo hot! Spicy was unbelievable amazing! The banter and dialogue was so fucking good. The found family and friendship ughhh I swoon for their group.

The best of the series saved for last. Sierra’s journey as she overcomes the mental blocks of her accident is nothing short of realistic and perfect. Dylan’s quiet support as she maneuvers every metaphorical road block and hurdle is beautiful to see. Even if parts of this were predictable, it all came together in a gorgeous way. Sierra and Dylan definitely found their way into my heart, and I love them and this book

There's something about the figure skater and hockey player combo that just DOES it for me, and the second I read the description for this book I knew it was right up my alley. I really enjoyed the characters and watching them grow together.

We need an official Dylan Distribution Center because everyone deserves to have a guy like him. I loved how he wasn't the typical arrogant playboy who's an asshole, which tends to be the trope in most sport romances with hockey players. He's definitely experienced with women but he never came off as annoyingly cocky.

He was so sweet and patient with Sierra, and I really really enjoyed seeing him pull Sierra out of her shell. One of my favourite parts was when Sierra was trying to express that even though she hasn't said "I love you" yet, that doesn't mean that she doesn't care for him. It just felt like such a real response, that I haven't come across a lot in romance. Most of the time the characters say I love you at the same time and it's this perfect moment. But that's not always how life is, so I appreciated the author for displaying more realistic elements of relationships.

I SWEAR BAL CAN DO NO WRONG. Every book of hers has gotten better and better and I have fallen more and more in love with these characters and this universe. All I have to say Dylan. Dylan. Dylan. Dylan. THE MAN THAT HE IS. I AM BARKING. I love love love him. I love his growth. I love his love for his family and friends and Sierra. I love the way he shows up for the people he loves. HE"S A GOOD MAN AND DESERVES ALL THE LOVE IN THE WORLD. As does Sierra, my perfect ice princess. Her growth and character development makes me emotional and I am so proud of her. Forever a Bal Khabra superfan. I will read every word this woman writes.

Book 3 in the Off the Ice series is one of the two I was really looking forward to…Dylan’s story. I’m drawn to the most f’ed up in a group of friends for some reason, so my excitement to start his was brimming. From the start of book 1 we learn Dylan is one of the guys who drinks and parties way too much, so there is always a story with those types of activities that exceed the craziness of the average college guy. Especially amongst the hockey players, those guys take things to the next level in everything it seems. Sierra has some serious PTSD and as the story moves along we find out what brought it about and I was equal parts sympathetic to her pain and pissed off on her behalf. I don’t know much about ice skating other than the few romance books where its the sport of choice, but in doubles anything you have to trust your partner 100% and after what Sierra was put through, I’m surprised she even takes a chance on Dylan. But the Dylan we know from the past…it’s not who goes out of his way to be the person Sierra can rely on, for in the rink and out. They were so cute with their constant bickering and pushing each others boundaries. I really couldn’t get enough of these two. The back story to Dylans family life made total sense with his aversion to relationships and I don’t think someone written any less stubborn and driven I would have liked him as much. They went toe to toe, but all the while Dylan was her safety net. HEA was fittting and I liked the trajectory their future was headed by the end. Full circle.

Kian’s book better be next!!! His shenanigans, along with all the rest of the gang had me laughing throughout. Very funny dialog.

Thanks NetGalley for this ARC, my opinion was left voluntarily.

Thank you for the ARC! I really enjoyed Dylan’s character arc, he grew so much over the course of the story, and watching his development was one of my favorite parts of the book. The romance was sweet and had great banter, but I did feel like the pacing slowed a lot in the second half. While Dylan’s growth was clear and satisfying, I didn’t feel like Sierra evolved as much, which left her arc feeling a bit unfinished for me. Overall, still a heartfelt sports romance with some great moments.

This was my first ever Bal Khabra Book and I went in expecting a light-hearted sports romance story and that is exactly what I got. It was fun to read. For me it served as a palette cleanser because I had been reading a lot of Dark Romance Books back to back before reading this one. I wanted something sweet, nothing too complicated and this was exactly that. I loved the Fiery Figure Skater FMC and a Hot-headed, egoistic Hockey Player MMC combo. They shared good chemistry, the side characters were funny and the trauma healing aspect of the story kept me going. It was a cute story. If that is vibe you are looking for, I would say read it.
Thank you to NetGalley and Berkley Publishing for the ARC.

Bal Khabra is officially an automatic read for me- her Off the Ice series just keeps getting better! Revolve, the third installment in this sizzling sports romance series, absolutely lived up to all my expectations (and then some).

This time around, we follow Dylan Donovan, a star hockey player at Dalton University who’s been kicked off the team after failing a drug test. Enter Sierra Romanova, an Olympic figure skater trying to find her way back to the ice after an injury and heartbreak derailed her career. When their worlds collide, sparks fly-and I was all in from the very first page.

The chemistry between Dylan and Sierra is off the charts, and I loved how both characters were strong, passionate, and unafraid to challenge each other. Their banter, emotional growth, and undeniable connection had me completely hooked.

Revolve gave me all the feels-from the swoony moments to the emotional depth-and I devoured every word. If you love hockey romance with heart, heat, and unforgettable characters, this book is a must-read. I already can’t wait to see what Bal Khabra writes next!

Thank you to NetGalley and Berkley Romance for the advanced copy of this book. All thought and opinions are solely mine.

THIS IS MY FAVORITE BOOK OF 2025! I know it’s not releasing until October but yall!! IT IS SO GOOD! I mean these two. Goodness, my heart. Romance at its finest.
Dylan is one of the sweetest and swooniest MMC I’ve read and the way he is with Sierra….it’s absolutely precious. Gahhh…these two own my heart!! So so good!

When a hockey player and a figure skater become partners, a trust has to be formed. But Sierra is still hurt from her injury and also her broken heart. Dylan comes to the rescue. Trust is formed and a live story starts. Phenomenal!

First off, thank you to both NetGalley and Berkeley publishing. Group for the arc! I have read the other books in this series and loved them (especially Eli and Sage) so when I saw the chance to request this book I had to take it!

I’m glad to say this may be my favorite book by Bal yet. I loved the banter between Dylan and Sierra, both on and off the ice. This was a great combination of enemies to lovers, slow burning romance with a touch of yearning. Dylan and sierra became a power couple and I was rooting for them the whole time.

I also appreciated the mental health representation from both characters, especially Sierra. She deals with PTSD after a terrible skating accident, which made a sport she loved anxiety inducing. With Dylan’s help and love, he brings her back into loving the sport. Dylan was also a complete green flag when it came to Sierras mental health, as he was always there for her and did not judge!

I loved this book, and I’m hoping we get more characters stories. I’d especially love to see Kians, he was such a funny character in this book and his scenes made me laugh.

Will this be my favorite of the series? No. But did I really enjoy it? Absolutely. It had some of my favorite things! 2 athletes. A comeback story. He takes care of her. She’s mean to him. He likes it. A lot. She knits for him. He is there for her. Be still my heart.

Dylan Donovan is too good for this world. His need to show up for people and be the person they need but I loooooved that Sierra stepped up to be that person for him. The way he built her confidence up and skated with her and just truly saw her?? Beautiful.

And sierra our beautiful queen….her growth in this book was phenomenal. I adored that she really grew in her confidence and was able to open up with Dylan.

bal khabra the WRITER that you are!!! thank you netgalley for the e-arc!

new favorite trope unlocked: overthinking girl x "i'll explain it as many times as you need" boy :)

this series is such an adorable and charming read, especially because i love all the characters and the couples and they all make a really great found family. both our leads in this one were solid on their own as characters, which made their chemistry and buildup to becoming a couple so swoon worthy. i was giggling like every other page when they were bantering. a read is a lot more fun and enjoyable when you actually like both leads and want for them to be together.

we love a retired playboy who immediately is DOWN BAD once he meets his girl, and dylan donovan was that man.

a perfect addition to the Off the Ice series in my opinion, and i think if you enjoyed the other books in this series you will definitely love this one as well!!

I am a huge fan of Bal Khabra and this entire series. I loved the first two books and I can say the same about this one. They are all very similar in their approach and the MMC's are always the most adorable, flirty guys but Im here for it. The banter, teasing, flirting in this entire series is like no other. And this may be her spiciest yet.

Sierra is fresh off a life altering injury and break up with her previous partner/ love interest. She is broken and traumatized but she wants to continue. Dylan has all the family trauma and has lived his college life for quick hookups. Though a hockey player - he has a past as a figure skater and the two end up being forced to pair up for figure skating and their lives change forever. He definitely falls first and it's oh so swoon worthy.

There is mental health rep, found family, family trauma, banter and spice. It was a tad long for a rom com at 416 pages but I was never bored.

Its similar to Icebreaker and Unsteady so if you liked either of those, you're sure to love this one.

I will read everything Bal writes...can we please have a love story for Kian - I love his character, though I have a feeling we're saving the best for last.

I didn't realize this was part of a series, but that's a good thing because it can be read as a standalone. If you're a hockey romance fan, this is def the book for you - especially if you ever dreamed of being a figure skater too.

Thank you so much to Bal, NetGalley, and Berkley for this ARC. I have loved and adored every book in this series so far and this one has been no exception. I would even venture to say it may be my favorite… 🤭
For fans of Icebreaker, this one’s for you. If you didn’t like icebreaker… this one’s still for you. It’s definitely different enough but still holds the same vibe.
Dylan was everything I didn’t know I needed and more. My man really served in this book. If you’re asking yourself “Dylan who”? Then girl refresh your memory cause you won’t be looking past him in this book. My little babies I swear each book just keeps getting better and better. I cannot wait until this is released officially because I will definitely be reading again via audio. I just know it’s going to hit even harder that way.
If you see me daydreaming, I’m definitely thinking about this book. Gonna need every other ice skater x hockey player to be like this from now on. Kthanksbye 🤗

I loved this one. Best in the series by far. I love that it wasn’t all about college like the previous ones as the crew is growing and aging.

I was a huge fan of Bal’s first book Collide so I was excited to continue on with the series. The first book in the series is in college, the second one is in the NHL, and this one we are back at college. I didn’t know that was happening before I started the book and it took me a little while to get comfortable back in the world of college hockey. This follows Dylan who fails a drug test and gets kicked off the team. In order to try and get back on it he must be involved in something else to show he is committed. In comes Sierra who does pair skating but is missing her partner. This book is reminiscent of Ice Breaker by Hannah Grace. If you loved that then I suggest giving this one a try. In the end this book was just okay for me. It was too long in my opinion. I wasn’t a fan of Dylan nor did I really care for their romance.

I absolutely loved this book! I dare say it’s the top book in the series.

This book follows FMC Sierra who is a figure skater and Dylan who is a hockey player.

Sierra is coming back to skating after an accident and needs to find a new partner to compete with since her last partner left her after the accident.

Dylan who was kicked off the hockey team is willing to do anything (even figure skate) to get his spot on the team back so he can make it to the NHL Draft.

Tropes
-forced proximity
-grumpy/sunshine
-sports romance
-found family

The way Dylan will do anything for Sierra melts my heart. I loved how he can tell when she was having anxiety and knew exactly what to do to calm her down and be her anchor. Sierra’s character was beautiful written with being a a damsel in distress but not NEEDING the man to save her. Being independent but still allowing herself to get help.
