Archie, Alex, Sam, Winnie and Tilda play a game of hide-and-seek. Archie goes to hide in the cupboard. As time goes he hears his friends being found but not him. Has he been forgotten by his friends ? Are they still looking for him ? Archie gets through a few emotions like sadness, fear of being forgotten, feeling of isolation, stress, his heart thumps, his ears ring and more...

The book has really nice and warm colored illustrations. We feel at home going through the pages, it feel cozy. Kids will be able to relate to the story, with a positive ending. You won't be forgotten. Keep playing with your friends, it will be alright.

This cute picture book is about a game of hide-and-seek, and it shows the tension between feeling satisfied with a good hiding place and worrying that you'll never be found. This book has charming illustrations, and it accurately reflects a common childhood experience. This is really sweet, and I enjoyed it.

A group of children play hide and seek around the house. A good read for encouraging group play and discussing feelings. Children will be able to relate to Archie shown in the book. Recommended for PreK - K.

Every child has had the experience of being the last one found in hide and seek, and the fear of "what if". This book does a great job through the writing and illustrations of conveying a young child's inner thoughts and feelings, and the anticipation of being found.

I think this would be a great book for teaching SEL, and I recommend it for schools, libraries, and school counselors.

This was so cute! I don't think I've read a picture book about this aspect of hide-and-seek, which is good! Lots of kids have these feelings, too.

When Archie and his friends play hide and seek, he finds the perfect hiding spot! Perfect, that is, until time passes, everyone else is found, and he starts to wonder...are they going to find him? Is he all alone now?

This is a touching look at the way our brains, especially as children, may jump to a sad, scary, or frustrating conclusion when in reality, it probably just isn't the case! The illustrations are also adorable -- it brought me right back to those suspenseful moments of a great game of hide and seek.
