Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review. The Lady Needs A Rogue follows Macie, an heiress, whose father is new money and wants his daughter to marry a nobleman for the title. Macie wants to marry for love and passion, so she creates small scandals to scare away men of the Ton. Finn, Macie’s brother's best friend, and Macie’s childhood crush, is in town, and Macie is no longer the girl he remembers as just his best friend’s kid sister. While Macie’s brother is away on business, he asks Finn to look out for his sister. Macie resents her brother’s interference, but concedes that having Finn around might deter men seeking her fortune.
I enjoyed the suspense aspects of this novel. The mystery was interesting and kept the plot moving. I appreciated the fact that Macie was a strong-willed female character who knew who she was and would not change to satisfy anyone other than herself. I thought the development of their relationship was sweet and believable, and I was rooting for them. They were well suited as Finn didn’t want Macie to change, unlike the other men in her life, and Macie only cared about who Finn was as a person and not his rank in society. I also enjoyed that Macie had a unique passion, for this time period, of photography and the restoration of her grandfather’s house. However, I do wish that the book had devoted a bit more time to these interests and had given Finn some hobbies or interests of his own outside of Macie and their relationship. My only other critique is that I thought the book dragged a bit in the middle. Overall, I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to readers who enjoy historical suspense romances!

This had everything I wanted: sweeping romance, intriguing mystery and a protective hero too.

Absolutely loved Macie and Finn. I thought they were a perfect pairing. The way Finn yearned for Macie and was so protective of her was *swoon*! Plus there's a bit of fake dating too?! The chemistry these two had was palpable. I fell hard for these two!

The mystery kept me guessing and held my interest.

A fantastic historical romantic suspense! Would highly recommend!
