I really enjoyed the latest Lottie Parker book. Her and Boyd are on a week’s break for his sister’s wedding. Of course, while she’s there a murder takes place that she can’t help but to insert herself into. Poor Kirby is in charge while the boss is away, and is overwhelmed with his own murder investigation. I loved that there was a new detective, Mooney, that was in charge. He brought something new to the story instead of all the usual cast of characters. Boyd was in this, but had a very minor role. I’m glad that he’s finally seeing the truth about Lottie, he deserves better. The storyline was heartbreaking. This moved fast and kept interesting throughout.

The author takes us on a journey, packed with twists there were so many twists just when I thought I knew how it was going to end boom another twist… Fantastic! I just couldn’t put it down and one I will be thinking about for a very long time.

It’s definitely a must read and I’d highly recommend this book when it comes out in June another brilliant book in the Detective Lottie Parker series!
