This was so fun, and I’m really glad I listened to it on audio. Her unique, sing-songy voice added a lot to the story (and for a while afterwards, I kept hearing my own thoughts in her voice)! I really appreciated her candidness about the very real, not-often-discussed impacts of religious messaging about sexuality. I haven’t seen this explored as deeply anywhere else, and I found it relatable and validating. Listening to this felt like talking to a friend. I kept thinking about it afterwards and found myself looking up interviews about her most recent breakup, as I still felt very invested to hear how everything played out.
