These Mountain Men have got me ๐ฅต Amy Daws sure know how to write a fun and steamy novel.
I love how the family interferes yet again to get thes two together.
We return to the family going on a destination wedding and Calder and Dakota get placed together. These two are next level. I love how they build each other up both in and out of the bedroom. This Cat daddy and successful but low self esteem lovey were made for each other. I loved going on their journey of love.
Can't wait for Book 3

Seven Year Itch is my first read by Amy Daws, but it definitely won't be my last. The Fletcher brothers are hilarious, and I need more of them. This story is a fun, spicy enemies-to-lovers romance that had me laughing, swooning, and grinning the whole way through. Calder Fletcher, the swooniest mountain man and cat dad, and the funny and fiery Dakota Schaefer, have been clashing for seven years. They cannot stand each other, and their bickering made for some hilarious moments. When they bumped into each other at a member's only club, their back and forth had me laughing so hard.
Dakota and Calder ended up being the only singles at Calder's brother's destination wedding, and their bickering did not stop. As fate would have it, there is a mix-up at the resort, and they end up sharing a room. The tension between them unexpectedly turns into something more, and I loved every second of their delicious journey. Dakota and Calder were so hot together. Their chemistry was sizzling, and I loved how they connected on a deeper emotional level. Witnessing them grow, face their insecurities, and discover what they truly wanted was super satisfying. I was completely invested in their relationship and couldn't help but root for Dakota and Calder's happiness.
Narration:
Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton perform this audiobook in duet. Their performances were so good, and this is a really fun listen. Erin and Teddy were the perfect voices for Dakota and Calder, and put so much personality into the characters. I could really feel the enemies-to-lovers energy! The banter in this story is top-tier, and Erin and Teddy really brought their A game. I highly recommend this audiobook!
Thanks to Amy Daws, Harlequin Audio, Canary Street Press, Harlequin Trade Publishing, and NetGalley for the review opportunity. Opinions expressed are my own.

Another Mountain story for the Books! Calder Playboy and Dakota a newly divorced, I mean what is there more to ask for? Especially when it's an Enemies to Friends with Benefits to Lovers situation.
Those are some of my Favorite tropes, but bring in Cat Daddy and Best Uncle haha I'm sold! Thank you Netgalley and Amy for the Chance to read this Book ๐

Seven Year Itch was super cute and thoroughly enjoyable. It was a fun mix of humour and heart. I really liked the characters and the chemistry. I'm especially excited for Lukeโs book next, and I really hope Everly gets her own story too. Thereโs definitely more to explore in this world!

โฐ๏ธ Calder, cat-daddy and burly mountain-dwelling bachelor, and Dakota, bad-bitch entrepreneur and sworn enemy of Calder Fletcher, find themselves thrown together as roommates at a destination wedding. Mutually attracted to each other and in close quarters, the two agree to a one night stand to satisfy their curiosity. Turns out one night isnโt enough for either of them so they come up with an enemies-with-benefits arrangement that will allow them to explore their wildest fantasies. But when the time comes to end their arrangement will they be ready to give each other up?
After reading Nine Month Contract, I knew I didnโt want to miss Seven Year Itch. Daws is an expert at writing relatable characters with unconventional senses of humor and a lovable crassness that keeps me coming back for more. I was literally giggling in public while listening to this audiobook and I didnโt even care. I mean, Calder refers to his nephew as โpoop stain.โ How am I NOT supposed to laugh at that?
Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon really brought their A-game to this audio and were perfect for the heated banter and endless bickering between Calder and Dakota. The romantic moments were shockingly open and emotionally raw in the best way while the awkward family moments added to the overall hilarity. And yes, thereโs a third act break up, but itโs worth it for the extra spicy romance and HEA ending.

Check this one out if you like a forced proximity, found family, enemies-to-lovers romance with a gruff and tatted MMC and a fierce and independent FMC. Pairs well with an apple-tini in the hot tub with your significant other.

I originally read Seven Year Itch without realizing it was the second in a seriesโand while I could follow along easily, I knew I was missing some of the emotional foundation from book one. Experiencing it again in audiobook format filled in some of those gaps for me, and I think the narration really elevated the story.
Amy Dawsโ signature humor and sharp banter shine even more in audio. The comedic timing of the dialogue felt spot-on, and the narrators captured the wit and chemistry between the characters perfectly. Their delivery made the laugh-out-loud moments land, while also grounding the more heartfelt scenes with the right emotional weight.
Itโs a rom-com that balances heart and humor, and listening to it brought the story to life in such a fun, engaging way. If youโre an audiobook listener who enjoys witty banter and vibrant characters, this is definitely one to add to your list.
Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for the ALC!

I ended up reading this on kindle unlimited bc it was archived the day I was approved! That said I absolutely loved the book!!! This second in the series was great! I love her โmountain manโ books.

4,5 Stars
This is an enemies to lovers story with a mountain man. Enough said.
Dakota ist Calders sister in law's best friend and recently divorced. Those two never got along in the last seven years, we later find out why. They accidentally meet again in a sex club, are forced to share a room at a destination wedding and decide to become enemies with benefits.
I'm surprised how much I liked this and how well the "found family" aspect was established. This is my first Amy Daws book so I didn't read the first Mountain Man matchmaker book but it was still easy to follow family and relationship dynamics.
Theres loooooots of spice but also lots of fluff und the characters are surprisingly well fleshed out. I really didn't expect this from the cover and blurb.
I deducted 0,5 stars because there's kind if a third act breakup and I hate that. Oh and the revelation that they want to be together and all past misdeeds are forgotten was a tad bit too easy for me.
Its dual narration and I know these narrators from other works and they are really easy to listen to.
*This review is based on an arc

This was a cute story! Spicy with plot. Enemies to lovers. The banter was good, and the relationship building was good too!

2.5 stars - ALC on behalf of NetGalley
Unfortunately, I have to say that I was not a fan of this book. I found a lot of the writing and dialogue to be cringe and I don't think the audiobook narrators helped with that. I didnโt particularly like or connect with either of the characters and their enemies-to-lovers relationship was frankly just annoying.
Iโm guessing it was in book one as well (I didnโt read it) but after four straight chapters in Calderโs POV it randomly switches to his nieceโs POV because sheโs orchestrating the relationship. I found it extremely jarring and confusing and for a second I wondered if I was listening to a step-relative book. We didnโt get Dakotaโs POV until like seven chapters in which proved to be confusing structurally.
I didnโt mind their enemies with benefits relationship and how their connection evolved, but I hated the third act conflict/reveal and the way they made up was extremely cringe to me! There were a handful of lines that literally had me groaning aloud but none more so than โTurns out, true love is my kinkโ.
Overall, this book wasn't for me.

E-ARC Book ReviewโSeven Year Itch by Amy DawsโSpoiler Free
Calder and Dakota have been enemies for the past seven years since Calder did a remodel job for Dakota. Dakota is recently divorced and ends up going on a trip with Calderโs whole family for a wedding since Dakotaโs best friend is his sister in law. His medaling niece pays off the hotel so that Calder and Dakota are forced to share a room because even though they hate each other, she thinks they would be great together. After some confessions about her insecurities, Dakota and Calder come up with an โenemies with benefitsโ plan where they are just there to scratch an itch for each other. Of course, they both realize that it might just be more than they bargained for.
This story was cute and spicy. It took me a little bit to get into this story, but the last 40% was a lot easier going to read and kept me entertained. I liked how the MCs challenged each other to be better. I think the set up of this series is sweet (A niece helping her uncles find love). I look forward to reading the next book about the last single brother.

I think my house has burnt down ๐๐ฅ
Warning this has some sweet moments between Calder and Dakota this was primarily smut over plot and I was HERE FOR IT ๐ I'm talking ๐ฅโพ๏ธ times SPICY. I did not have a chance to read this in audiobook form but this novel is dual POV (& dual narration) so I am just dreaming of the day I get to hear Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon being these characters to life?
This book had me laughing out loud but also healed my soul as a recent divorcee โค๏ธ Calder was just an absolutely sweetheart & Dakota grew so much as a character in just a few hundred pages.
I was shocked by the balance of this novel and I'm already looking forward to my re-read via the audiobook in 17 weeks when I get it from the library ๐โ ๏ธ Add to your TBR the next time you need a feel good spicy romance ๐

Great follow up to this series. Love the banter, the dynamic between the brothers, and the friendships along the way. This felt realistic and was very well written. Really excited for the next brothers book. The only thing I would change in the whole series is the constant mentions of weight and curves. It gets real annoying real fast.

Wow. If you like super spicy, quick whit banter, this book is definitely for you. I didnโt know a book could be too spicy. But here we have it!

This was my first read by Amy Daws, and I donโt expect it to be my last. Seven Year Itch was equal parts hilarious and enjoyable, with plenty of moments that had me smiling throughout. While I wouldnโt call it a five-star read. Around 86% in, I found myself ready for the conclusion. I still had a great time with it overall.
The narration was a real highlight for me. Performed as a duet, it added so much energy and charm to the story, making it an engaging listen from start to finish. I loved how it brought the characters to life and enhanced the humor.
This book also piqued my interest enough that Iโve already picked up book one in the Mountain Men series, because Iโd like to explore more of Amy Dawsโ writing.
Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin Audio for the opportunity to listen to Seven Year Itch in exchange for an honest review.

I loved this enemies to lovers story. I really enjoy this author and her nods to body positivity. I will continue to read more from this author.

I had so much fun with this witty rom com. unhinged, unpredictable and completely entertaining! it's lighthearted and adventurous and honestly just so dang good

Definitely a let down after the first book ๐ฃ
Calder was just not it, he was too cocky and I did NOT appreciate him calling Dakota a bitch (more than once). I didnโt really like the premise of the book either.
I did like getting to see the rest of the family again and I liked Dakota.
Hoping book 3 redeems itself ๐

I had so much fun listening to the audio of Seven Year Itch by Amy Daws. This is a part of the Mountain Men Matchmaker series, book 2, but can be read as a standalone, however, I loved book 1 as well and highly recommend it. I just loved Calder and Dakota so much. Calder is the middle brother of the mountain brothers and is has been feeling a bit lost lately. He is determined and confident and set on never getting married or having a family. I have loved Dakota since we met her in Last on the List, as Cozyโs best friend. She has always been confident and full of sass, but since her divorced, she has been vulnerable and a bit adrift.
Seven years ago, Calder and Dakota had a big blow up and have been enemies since then. They go at each other anytime they are around each other. But when they have to share a room at a destination wedding, moments of honesty are shared between them. One thing leads to others and now they are testing friends to benefits, but all good things come to an end, right? I just loved how open and honest Calder and Dakota were with each other. Their banter was captivating and fun. Another great read from this author!

I enjoyed The Seven Year Itch by Amy Daws on Audible. The narrators were lively and really brought the characters to life. The story was fun and steamy, with good chemistry and humor. While a bit predictable at times, itโs a solid, entertaining romance. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.
