This was a light, fluffy, and undeniably sexy read.
I really enjoyed the characters—the story was funny, entertaining, and full of charm. The chemistry between the leads was electric; their transition from enemies to lovers was intense and so much fun to watch unfold.

Full transparency, I didn’t like Nine Month Contract. I only read it because the fmc’s sisters name is my name and it’s unique and I never see it in books. I almost didn’t continue the series.

However…I’m so glad I did!
I LOVED this. I devoured this in basically one sitting. Props to Erin Mallon and of course Teddy Hamilton! The duet narration really brought this to life.

Calder and Dakota were the perfect enemies to lovers. My only criteria for a romance is that I need to believe that these 2 characters love each other by the end. I BELIEVE THEM and I rooted for them the whole time.

I’m pretty sure this could be read as a standalone and you’d get the gist. Read it.

Thank you Harlequin Audio for an ALC in exchange for an honest review!

Seven Year Itch, book 2 in the Mountain Men Matchmaker series, is “a steamy small town rivals-to-lovers romance filled with witty banter and unlikely romance at a destination wedding.”

I enjoyed Nine Month Contract so much and have, not so patiently, been awaiting the release of the next book in the series. I can safely say that Seven Year Itch lived up to the hype and was worth the wait. It was just as swoony, spicy, and laugh-out-loud funny as Nine Month Contract.

This interconnected series is about the Fletcher brothers who live on Fletcher Mountain. Each book is centered on a different brother’s story. Because this one picks up pretty much where the first one left off, I suggest reading them in order to get the full immersive experience.

Seven Year Itch is centered around Calder Fletcher, a grumpy, tattooed mountain man and Dakota, a strong, sassy, post-divorcee looking to regain her confidence. The witty banter between these two is top notch, the tension is super high, and the heat level is even higher.

I love that the rest of the family, including the quirky animals, continues to play an important role in the story. They are a hilarious, chaotic, quirky, hot mess of a family but are close knit and supportive. I am a sucker for a found family trope and this series is most definitely a perfect representation especially as the family continues to grow.

The audio book was the icing on the cake making a top notch immersive experience. The narrators, Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton, are the perfect duo to narrate this series. The delivered a flawless, off the charts, dual performance from start to finish.

Let the countdown begin for book 3, Honeymoon Phase, which will be releasing late November.

Thank you @htpbooks @readmirabooks @htpbooks_audio @htp_hive @amydaws, and @netgalley for the #gifted ARC and ALC. All thoughts are my own.

Such a cute and spicy frenemies-to-lovers rom-com!🤩 I’m so glad I decided to pick this one up. I enjoyed this one even more than the first book in this interconnected stand-alone series. Make sure to pick this one up if you love small town romance books with an adorable HEA! I can’t wait to read more books in this series until all of the brothers find their HEA, and I just absolutely love this meddling family!💞

I was SO excited to see this title on NetGalley! Amy Daws' Nine Month Contract was a great listen and I've been keeping my eye out for the next installment of the Fletcher Brothers.

Seven Year Itch is Calder's story. The third of four Fletcher boys, he's got all kinds of middle child syndrome going on. While his other brothers have found their place in the world, he's cruising along by default. He works with his brothers and most of the scut work falls to him, despite the fact that he's a talented woodworker. He lives on Fletcher Mountain because his brother Wyatt invited him to build a cabin there. He's a people pleaser to the extreme, but he's scared to actually let himself be loved. He doesn't think he's good enough, so why would any woman worth having? So when he wants companionship, he turns to the apps, making it clear one-and-done is his preference.

When the whole Fletcher family takes a trip to Mexico for Wyatt and Trista's destination wedding, Calder decides to find a plus one. But someone (one of his brothers? His meddling neice, Everley?) keeps tinkering with his profile.

But even though he ends up going to Mexico solo (as solo as you can be with your whole family in tow), he's not the only single one on the trip. Dakota Schaefer, his sister-in-law's recently divorced best friend, is along for the trip too. But Calder and Dakota don't get along. At. All.

It doesn't matter, though, because Calder and Dakota find themselves rooming together and sparks fly. Dakota knows Calder doesn't sleep with the same woman twice, so when they get back home to Colorado, she makes a proposal: He can be her wingman on her self-discovery journey. It doesn't take long for either of them to realize they want more than what's proposed. If only they could get over themselves and just say what they want.

Narrated by Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton, this story is pleasant to listen to. It's done in dual narration, so Erin voices all the female characters, Teddy all the male characters. Erin's narration tends to be a little annoying as she likes to draw out her words (the worst was in her narration of The Friend Zone where every time she said the name of the character, Kristen, it sounded like Kris-Tennnnnnnn-eh.). Teddy is one of my favorite narrators. His voice is super sexy and I will happily listen to ANYTHING he narrates.

Can't wait for the next installment!

If you want a book that is both cozy and spicy at the same time, Severn Year Itch is for you! The MMC is a sweet cat Daddy, who loves his family, with a troubled past. The FMC also has a troubled past. Together the sparks fly! You will fall in love with them and all of the side characters. While this can be read as a standalone, you will want to read the other books to find out more about the side characters. Sign me up to move up on a mountain with these rugged mountain men!

The duet narration is soooo good! Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon makes you feel like you are right there. The spice scenes, y'all! I recommend you listen to this book!

Thank you Harlequin Audio and Netgalley for allowing me to listen to an advanced audiobook!

3.5⭐️

This was a fun mountain man romance! I listened to the audiobook and the narrators did an amazing job.

I liked the characters but wasn’t overly attached to them and I’ll probably won’t think about this book again now that I’ve finished it - hence the 3.5 star rating.

If you’re thinking about reading it I highly recommend the audiobook!

Thank you so much to Harlequin Audio and Harlequin Trade Publishing for the eARC and ALC of Seven Year Itch via NetGalley! These are my honest thoughts.

THIS WAS *JUST AS FUN* as Nine Year Contract. You know what I love about Amy Daws? She writes funny (sometimes hilarious) scenes mixed into absolutely real and heartbreaking life. This story had so much of that! Calder is the mountain man in this book, and he's THEE CAT DADDY. Dakota is someone who has been in Calder's life for over seven years, a recent divorcee with a douche canoe for an ex-husband. These two... and Calder's meddling matchmaking family... end up on quite the adventure for (spoiler alert) book 1's characters' wedding in Mexico!

Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon were FANTASTIC on audio. I was cackling, I was *ahem* inspired... I ate this audiobook RIGHT UP.

Read if you love:
- Tattooed mountain men
- Cat Daddy MMC x Black Cat FMC
- Enemies to lovers
- Forced proximity
- Vacation rom-com
- Enemies with benefits
- Discovery + a bucket list *iykyk*
- Love after divorce
- Small business owners
- Colorado
- Meddling, matchmaking family members

Solid. Really fun. I liked book one more, but I think that was a me thing :)

*Audio Review*

Seven Year Itch is a fantastic follow up to book 1 in the series! In this book Caulder and Dakota start off as enemies until they start hooking up. Dakota, recently divorced, wants more sexual experience and Caulder is in the right place at the right time. Their chemistry is super spicy and it isn't long before they start catching feelings. I thoroughly enjoyed the squabbling, banter, family interactions and sexy times. Holy heck did Amy bring the spice with this one! It may be her spiciest one yet! It's also worth mentioning that Caulder is a cat daddy!

Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon are back to narrate in duet and slay as always! Teddy says a line in chapter 22 that had me needing a cold shower. Job well done!

Thank you Amy Daws and NetGalley for the ALC. All thoughts are my own.

Audio Narration: Absolutely loved the male narrator he was great. The female narrator was not it, the extension at the end of every sentence made this a difficult listen for me. I also felt her voices for other characters were entirely too similar to her own and it was had to determine who was who, at times. This is one I would recommend reading via print. I think the female narrator really detracts from the reading experience.

Spicy, fun romp, with great mid-size rep.

I do love these mountain men - Nine Month Contract was a silly good time and this was no different.

What’s to love…
- spectacular mid-size rep, it felt real, relatable and it was wonderful to see her journey
- Spice was fabulous.
- A+ tension
- 10/10 banter
- cat-dad + furniture building mountain man MMC
- playboy turned total simp for the FMC
- divorced mid-30s FMC

What’s not to love…
- these are fun & sexy, but if you’re looking for a ton of emotional depth this probably isn’t the right read for you.

Overall enjoyed, narrators were great, but one major complaint. In the epilouge when the family goes to look at Caulder's furniture in Denver. They change a baby's diaper on the table. PLEASE NO. Someone is going to eat on that table, and in the middle of the store?! That's literally my only complaint.

Teddy Hamilton is an audiobook gem. Both narrators were wonderful. Learned a little heavy on the word "musk" in the first half of the book, but once we got past that, I thought the story was really well done. Can't wait to read the next one!

This was my first book by Amy and I’m hooked! Especially to this series! I will most definitely be reading/listening the first one to this!! This is the cutest family duo ever haha! And the women they get push the walls they have built up and I’m here for it 😂💚

You’re telling me THIS is how I’m introduced to Teddy Hamilton?! Ugh, Teddy and Erin Mallon were elite in this duet narration of Seven Year Itch by Amy Daws 🥵

I am SO happy to be back on Fletcher Mountain 🏔️

If you loved Nine Month Contract with its witty banter, grumpy MMC’s, overbearing family, and its rural mountain town vibes, then you need to pick this up and complete the series!

Don’t mind me, just still swooning over Calder 🤭 I can’t decide which Fletcher brother I like more.. but there’s something about a rugged and tatted mountain man that does me in - add on that he’s a cat daddy, and I am SOLD.

And Dakota? She’s our fresh divorcee that’s looking to spice up her life. Her work ethic really drew me to her character and her being a hard ass just made her character even more fun. Plus, she can handle her own when faced with a grumpy mountain man that’s on his knees for her.. literally.

They say there’s a fine line between love and hate, and let’s just say, after seven years of tension, someone is bound to break, especially when you’re forced to share a room together.

If you’re into an enemies to lovers romance, cat daddy MMC and an even blacker cat FMC, then you need this on your TBR 🫶🏼

Thank you, NetGalley and The Hive, for the chance to read and review before its debut 🐈‍⬛ 🌴

I didn’t think I would love this book more than the first one but I was wrong! Calder Fletcher could make any woman feel better about themselves. Plus he is a great cat dad who carries Milkshake around in a cat carrier! Dakota and Calder’s banter kept me laughing!

The Mastermind, Everly, is at it again when the Fletcher’s head to Mexico for Wyatt and Trista’s destination wedding. Calder and Dakota are forced together when they arrive at the house. Dakota hates Calder after he ruined her wedding dress seven years before, but that won’t ruin her trip. She wants to have fun after her divorce is finally done and Calder wants to help bring her out of her shell.

Also Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon did a great job narrating this book! It made me love these characters even more!

I had the BEST time reading this book, and the audiobook was AMAZING! Both Nine Month Contract and Seven Year Itch had me laughing out loud, and panting with the heat Amy Daws brings to life! I highly recommend if you love Meghan Quinn rom-com and spicy reads.
As for the audiobook- Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon did a fabulous job bringing Seven Year Itch to life.
A huge thank you to HTP and The Hive for the chance to read this in advance.

This is my first book by Amy Daws and it certainly won’t be the last! I had such a fun time listening to this book and I can’t wait to read book 1!

Seven Year Itch follows Dakota - recent divorcee, and tattooed Mountain man cat-dad, Calder.
In true enemies to lovers fashion, Dakota and Calder can’t stand each other. When a destination wedding hotel mishap brings them together, things start to unfold and the hate somehow deepens. We get such fun, sarcastic banter between the two. The beginning of this book had them with such high tension and animosity. I was really wondering how they would end up together. 👀

I love the contrast between the two despite them both being headstrong characters. Dakota who is trying to find her confidence again post-divorce, while also exploring her sexuality and k!nks. Calder who’s forced into a weird spot in his family - feeling like he is stuck doing grunt work for the rest of his life and self-proclaimed playboy not looking for anything serious. The two of them have so much chemistry and I think the high tension built into their hate for each other only intensified that.

I really really enjoyed this one! First off, the narrators did an AMAZING job. They really made these characters come to life. And I loved the duet narration! Highly recommend the audio for this one.

I was so eager for Calder’s book after NMC, especially after he adopted Milkshake the cat and became a hardcore cat daddy lol. We got to see him became more of himself not only professionally, but personally as well. I think he had some great character building, even if a bit was done kicking and screaming!

Dakota was a bomb a$$ FMC who wanted nothing more than to find herself after her divorce and she did an amazing job. I won’t spoil it, but the opening scene where she stands up for herself had me cackling!

Their romance was driven by meddlesome side characters and despite their initial hatred for each other, it developed into a perfect romance for the two of them. And those spicy scenes??? 10/10, no notes. Their banter was also top tier and you can tell they’ll never lose the sass, no matter how long they’re together.

Amy Daws wrote gold with this book and I can’t wait for the next one!!
