I absolutely loved this hilarious, heartfelt enemies-to-lovers romance! From start to finish, Calder and Dakota's story was everything I want to read. It has amazing characters, witty banter, awkward and hilarious situations, and a sweet and sizzling storyline full of heart! Dakota is Calder's sister-in-law’s best friend, and the woman who has hated him for seven years. Now she is divorced and they are stuck together at his brother's destination wedding. They find a truce that leads to secrets being exposed. Now they are home and Dakota needs Calder to help her find the confidence she lost while being married to her terrible ex. Calder never sleeps with the same woman twice, but he has always been attracted to Dakota so he agrees. As they get to know each other, they discover that they are not so different, both healing from a life trauma. As they help each other learn to forgive and trust again, their hearts become involved. What happens when their agreement ends? Will they be strong enough to fight for each other? I fell head over heels in love with Calder and Dakota. Calder is so thoughtful, sweet, protective, and deliciously dirty, he made me swoon the way he made Dakota feel empowered and beautiful. I loved Dakota's strength and new found confidence, and how she really saw Calder as more than the rugged, hot mountain man, helping him realize his passion. Their connection felt genuine, their fast-paced snarky banter was their foreplay to their sizzling hot chemistry. I also loved catching up with all their meddling, loving family as well.
Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon did a great job portraying the push/pull between Calder and Dakota, making me feel all their emotions so clearly. They are a perfect rom-com duo as they delivered all the witty banter, emotion, and steam so flawlessly, and making these characters and story come alive! I can't wait to see what the Mountain Men Matchmaker is up to next!

Thank you to #NetGalley and #HarlequinAudio for an advance listening copy of #SevenYearItch. I love the Fletcher brothers and this is another great addition to the series. 4 stars

I tried to read this one because it sounded intriguing, but the sex club threw me for a loop. A poop fetish - you're joking, right? Why is this popular?

I really enjoy the mountain men matchmaker series. This is the 2nd book in the series and it is just as good as the 1st one. This one had the perfect enemies to lovers trope in it, but really I never believed they were enemies. There always seemed to have a lot of sexual tension, that they were bound to hook up. I love the brotherhood of these books and how all the girls seem like great sister in laws to each other. I know the next book in the series will be about the last Fletcher brother, but I am secretly hoping that the author, Amy Daws, writes a book about my favorite meddling character, Everly. She needs her own love story too.

I love a good enemies to lovers trope. This title was written with such great chemistry and I ate up all of the sparring between the characters.
This hit every trope that I enjoy, and the narrators did an excellent job at the dual narration.

Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin Audio for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I really like the Fletcher men in these books. I don’t understand why there are so many times when I like the men more than the women.
I get that most of the time the personalities are for conflict and to give the books purpose but when people don’t make logical decision or have logical thoughts, it just bothers me. It’s mostly a ME thing.
This book was better than the first. Even though I loved Wyatt, I did like the guy in this book better.
Dakota was the annoying part. But I did like how it ended.
I look forward to the next book in the series.
Oh and Teddy Hamilton, as always, was amazing.

The audio was spot on! The narrators captured Dakota and Calder perfectly—their voices brought so much personality and chemistry to the story. I’m a big fan of immersive reading, and this audiobook made the experience even better. Huge thanks to NetGalley and Harlequin for the ALC—I loved every second of it!

Oh my!! Looking for your next laugh out loud book look no further!! I am never disappointed with a book by this author and this one was no exception! If you are an audio lover you MUST listen to this one! The narrators were amazing! They brought so much life to these characters! This one played out like a movie in my mind! I was hooked immediately and didn’t want to put it down! This is one of those reads that you don’t want to end and when it does your sad that your time with these characters are over! If you like your romances spicy you will be in for a treat!! If you’re a lover to enemies to lovers…heck even if you’re not mark this one down as a must read!!
Received an arc and alc for a honest review.

😍 Calder, the grumpy mountain man obsessed with Milkshake (hello #catdaddy), had me laughing and swooning. His heart is sooo gooey & I love it! Dakota? Total hellcat 😜! I love how she’s reclaiming her life after her awful ex and her journey to find herself again is freaking awesome. She’s a total BA bossbabe💪🏻
The banter between these two is freaking awesome, the forced proximity and PowerPoint just adds to the fun. Plus, a cat daddy, a sex club, and a Everly?
So much entertainment packed into one story!
If you're looking for a mix of humor, love, and a bit of personal growth, definitely give this one a read! 💖

Seven Year Itch is the next hilarious romcom from Amy Daws. With antagonists to lovers banter for days, along with the ruggedly handsome Fletcher brothers, this lighthearted romance is the perfect escape.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
Calder Fletcher has always butted heads with his sister-in-law’s bestie Dakota. Now that Dakota is divorced, though, the two are forced together on a Mexican vacation to celebrate Calder’s brother’s wedding. Everyone else is paired off, and their constant bickering finally leads them to acknowledge the tension between them. Can Calder be the man to help Dakota find her missing confidence? And is there more to their feelings than simply annoyance?
I always have a good time when an antagonists to lovers story is filled with great banter. Whether Calder and Dakota are forced to share a room, or work together to get through their “enemies to lovers” PowerPoint tasks, their sizzling chemistry fills every scene. Their interactions with the rest of the Fletcher clan are fun too. And, it’s a blast to watch cat daddy Calder try to hide his sweet center.
I went back and forth between the ebook and the outstanding audiobook for this one. Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton get to flex their comedic talents, and they are the ideal narrators for this series. They somehow manage to make both the quips and more emotional dialogue resonate, and Dakota and Calder come to life through their voices.
Seven Year Itch has all the steamy romcom goodness you expect from Amy Daws. With tons of banter and quips to go with the characters’ chemistry and heat, it’s a fantastic, fun escape.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Thank you to NetGalley, Amy Daws, and Harlequin Audio for the ARC of "Seven Year Itch." I enjoyed "Seven Year Itch" more so than "Nine Month Contract."
"Seven Year Itch" by Amy Daws is the second book in the Mountain Men Matchmaker series. This novel promises a blend of humor, spice, and heartfelt moments, making it a potentially captivating read for fans of romantic comedies.
The story revolves around Calder, a mountain man described as a "tall, tattooed, bearded neanderthal" with layers like an onion. He's a proud "cat daddy" who unexpectedly catches feelings. Dakota, on the other hand, is a divorcee looking to rediscover her confidence and get her groove back. The two characters have a history of animosity, having "hated" each other for seven years.
The premise kicks off with Calder's family sabotaging his dating profile, leading him to be stuck at his brother's destination wedding in Mexico without a date. To make matters more complicated, he's forced to share a room with Dakota, his sister-in-law's best friend, who he describes as the "bane of my existence".
Despite their initial loathing, an unexpected moment in their shared palapa sparks a different kind of reaction between them. What happens in paradise doesn't stay in paradise, as Dakota later proposes that Calder be her wingman to help her regain her pre-divorce confidence. This arrangement leads to Calder seeing Dakota in a new light, transforming her from someone he loves to fight with into the woman he desires.
Reviewers have praised the book for its enemies-to-lovers trope, hilarious banter, and steamy scenes. The dynamic between Calder and Dakota is described as toe-to-toe, with laugh-out-loud moments. The novel also delves into deeper emotional substance, exploring themes of self-love and personal growth.
Some readers found the book to be overly vulgar, particularly with its opening scene in a sex club and explicit language. However, others appreciated the spiciness and found it to be a perfect fit for the story. The book also features appearances from characters from previous Fletcher Mountain books, adding to the interconnectedness of the series.
The audiobook version of "Seven Year Itch" is performed by Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton in a duet-style narration. Reviewers have lauded their performance, with some calling them the "Amy Daws Dream Team". Erin's vibrant voice captures Dakota's sass and strength, while Teddy's warm timbre embodies Calder's rugged yet vulnerable nature.
Overall, "Seven Year Itch" appears to be a fun and engaging read for those who enjoy small-town romances with a mix of humor, spice, and emotional depth. It's a story about overcoming past miscommunications, embracing personal growth, and finding love in unexpected places. For fans of Amy Daws, this book seems to deliver on her signature style of witty banter, steamy encounters, and heartwarming moments.

Fun enemies to lovers romance, with a great through line about learning to love yourself for who you are now, not who you used to be.
Some of the beats with the kink club were a little awkward - the interactions felt forced to drive the conflict for the MC’s instead of moving it along naturally.
I loved Milkshake, and it was a blast getting to see the rest of the Fletcher gang!

So I listened and read this book at the same time. I adore Dakota and Calder’s story! I knew there were reasons as to why they were enemies and the story was told in a way to see it from both sides to the story. I don’t want to spoil anything but their HEA in the end is well worth it. I love that Calder’s family meddles in all the brother’s love lives especially Everly.
Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon are two of my favorite narrators that I listen to and I’m so glad that they narrated this story. From the hilarious moments to the emotional stories, they make this story complete. Amy’s books make me cry and laugh out loud and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Some tropes include enemies to lovers, small town, s*x bucket list, vacation (one bed), meddling family, found family and mountain man. Some TWs could be cheating (not between the MCs), loss of a parent, mention of divorced parents, divorce and more. Definitely keep these in mind when you start this book.

Wow this was a spicy adventure I didn’t know I needed. 🌶️ Who doesn’t love a mountain man, cat dad who meets his match with the black cat divorced tshirt store owner. 🐈⬛ This one has so many OMG moments and all the meddling family vibes. I can’t get over the spicy lessons PowerPoint plan! 😱 I loved the duet narration, I did immersion reading and all I can say is YES: instant add to TBR!
𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐨𝐩𝐬𝐢𝐬:
Calder is a mountain man who works in his families construction company and lives on the secluded mountain with his brothers. He has hookups (not with locals) and he’s finding out his kinks (visiting sex clubs). His brothers make fun of him for being a cat daddy but that’s ok, he loves his cat Milkshake. He’s looking for a date to bring to his brother’s wedding in Mexico but he realized someone hacked his dating apps sabotaging him, so he’s now going solo.
Dakota is recently divorced and is trying to find her spark again. She owns a successful shirt store down in Boulder, CO that she started 10years ago. Her bestie just invited her to Mexico for the week and she hopped on the opportunity. But now she’s forced to share a Palapa with her enemy, Calder and it only has one bed! They have bad blood due to a wedding dress/construction mishap a few years back.
But we all know what one bed, forced proximity and two single adults leads to.. a night of steamy fun. Then an awkward flight home CO. Knowing they are going to have to interact again they decided to make a temporary pact, to be enemies with benefits.
Check out this steamy read when it comes out on June 17th! Be sure to add to TBR now as we all need a mountain man.

Seven Year Itch was a fun and flirty enemies-to-lovers romance with stunning emotional depth that had me deep in my feels. Calder and Dakota clashed from the start, their animosity growing over the years—until they’re forced together, and their latent attraction ignites. As they spend more time together, they uncover hidden layers to their relationship, turning tension into something undeniable.
Both Dakota and Calder are compelling characters on a journey of self-discovery. With each other, they begin to truly understand themselves and find the courage to chase what they want. Their passionate and snarky dynamic is filled with humor, heat, and chemistry that practically leaps off the page. And let’s talk about the spice—because wow, it is absolutely spicing in this one!
Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton deliver a stellar duet narration in the audiobook, immersing every scene in raw emotion and captivating storytelling. Their performance pulls you in, making the humor and heart even more vivid.
I absolutely LOVED Seven Year Itch! It’s the perfect mix of high heat, heartfelt emotion, and laugh-out-loud moments. Calder and Dakota’s bumpy journey hits all the right spots, leaving you grinning, swooning, and maybe even fanning yourself a little.

ahhh!! to my very pleasant surprise doing this through the audio was the way to go.
i rated this 4 stars a week or two ago, the only problem i had with it was there i found the spice to be too overwhelming at times and i would have rather been reading about things to further the plot than spice BUT teddy & erin knocked this one so out of the park that i didnt find myself minding it much this time around.
i devoured the ebook in one sitting & almost did it yet again with the audio over the weekend, the banter & quips between dakota and calder were so much fun brought to life 😂
im VERY much looking forward to whats next from amy.

Calder and Dakota can’t stand each other—thanks to a home renovation disaster—but now they’re stuck sharing a room at a destination wedding. Oh, and they just happened to spot each other at a sex club right before the trip. What could possibly go wrong…
I loved this follow-up to Nine Month Contract! Amy Daws has a way of pulling off the most outrageous storylines and still making them feel totally believable in her world. The chemistry, the banter, the ridiculous (but hilarious) situations—it all works. I couldn’t stop listening.
Tropes I adore: vacation romance, one room/forced proximity, enemies to lovers, and yes… a sex club encounter. Chapter 15 kicks off the spice and it only gets hotter from there.
I did a tandem read because I literally couldn’t put this down. Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon are perfection. Teddy just gets it every time.
Can’t wait for the next in this series!

Loved the story and the narrators! The story was so cute, I loved their enemies to lovers dynamic! Great follow up to The 9 Month Contract. I really enjoyed seeing all the brothers and Everly again! The tropical setting and one bed trope were fun and the spice was great. I loved Calder's attachment to his kitty! Dakota was a successful business woman who was trying to regain her confidence after a bad marriage. My only complaint is that I felt her anger and grudge against Calder were a little immature and that Calder's insecurities in the family business and screw up status felt a bit forced. It was a great spicy rom-com, highly recommend!

This was such a fun time!! I loved the first book and this one was a stellar continuation of the series!! These two will live rent free in my mind for all of time. Also, there’s this wonderful hand flex scene that was so Mr. Darcy coded, I was SCREAMING! I seriously cannot wait until the next one!

I loved the continuation of this story - without it feeling like a series. The characters are great, the family bond is still tight and the spice is still the best! I can't wait for the next brother to find his match!
