- Enemies to enemies with benefits
- Powerpoint for the win
- Cat daddy
- Taking back your life
- So much delicious banter

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! While it did start out slowish, it ramped up to 100 and never slowed back down. I adore the Fletcher family. What a hilarious, close knit and temperamental group! The premise of this series is that Everly (the daughter of oldest brother Max) decides that her uncles need to find someone to lover. Thus begins her matchmaking adventures....

This is the second book in the series, and I related so much to the middle child drama that Calder felt. He tried to please everyone while setting aside what he actually wanted to do. No wonder he was a bit grumpy!

Dakota is on a journey to reawaken her passion after being in an unhappy marriage for 7 years. She and Calder see each other at an adult club - not a first meet as they have known and hated each other for years. Calder is surprised how protective he feels toward Dakota, so he offers to explore her adult interests with her.... No feelings, no relationship, just a Powerpoint proposal.

What follows is yummy banter, yummy cayenne, yummy Calder....

A tattoo clad, mountain man, cat daddy and a independent, stubborn, beautifully curvy woman... what could go wrong right?

Dakota and Calder do NOT like each other, so when they end up having to share a room and Calders' brother's destination wedding, neither of them are thrilled. Dakota is fresh out of a disastrous marriage, and Calder is a one and done kind of guy who doesn't do relationships. But what happens in Mexico stays in Mexico right? So when they decide to have a one night fling before going home, neither of them anticipate what they are setting themselves up for. This enemies to lovers book was so so good and I can't wait to read the next book in this series!

This book was 75% spice and 25% Fletcher family chaos. If you read Nine Month Contract, you’ll enjoy this fiery follow-up. The banter between Dakota and our cat loving mountain man Calder had me laughing out loud. Their enemies-to-lovers tension sizzled. Add in a meddling family, some quirky pets, and a tropical setting, and it’s the perfect vacation-in-a-book. AND if you’re an audiobook girlie - you will NOT be disappointed with the duet narration done SO flawlessly. Spicy, funny, and surprisingly sweet underneath all the steam.

Perfect for fans of:

Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton are absolutely perfect and really bring this story to life in the BEST way!

If you are looking for one of the best enemies-to-lovers stories, then stop your searching because here it is! I laughed, and groaned, and cried, and was sweating while reading this fantastic story. Calder Fletcher and Dakota Schaefer could not despise each other more, so when Calder sees Dakota in the same “club” he is a member of, he is NOT happy about it. But it turns out that they might be able to help each other - reluctantly and not so reluctantly in other ways. ;)

I really enjoyed this story, loved seeing some of the characters from some on Amy’s other stories, like Nine Month Contract and Last on the List, and I especially enjoyed the classic but sneaky Fletcher Family Meddling.

Don’t sleep on this book, especially if you are of a fan of characters that are saucy, sassy, sweet, considerate, caring, working through some healing, a boss lady FMC, or a mountain man cat-daddy MMC that is also tattooed and wears flannels with his sleeves rolled.

Mountain man. Cat Daddy. Feisty heroine. This book has shenanigans. Laugh out loud moments. Banter. Angst. The enemies to lovers is strong in this one. There are also some emotional moments. Enjoyed how Calder and Dakota slowly worked through each other’s layers. How they didn’t give up. I really enjoyed the time the family was at the tropical resort. I laughed the most during that time of the book.

I listed to this back to back with the first in the series and I cannot wait for the next Fletcher brother book because they are just too good! I came for the narrator and stayed for the enemies to lovers cat daddy vibes. I love the Fletcher family and the women who fall for them. Dakota and Calder are goals. Can there be a fifth brother just for me?

This book was an absolute sizzler! Amy excels at weaving humor into romance, transforming it into a spicy romantic masterpiece.

Calder is THAT GUY, you know, the tattooed, bearded, muscle-bound lumberjack of a heartthrob. He’s perfected the art of love and is determined to help Dakota escape her post-divorce slump and regain her confidence, all while playing the role of her arch-nemesis. When they both attend Calder's brother's wedding in Mexico and end up in the same villa, they decide to put their past behind them for one unforgettable night, igniting a steamy evening of passion and the start of an enemies-with-benefits adventure.

Together, Calder and Dakota create an undeniable spark. They embody the enemies-to-lovers trope flawlessly. Their playful banter and conflicts are intense, yet they remain each other's support system, encouraging one another to step outside their comfort zones. And I can't forget my favorite part: the PowerPoints!

In summary, it's the perfect escape read.

The audiobook was perfection. Erin Mallon was fantastic as Dakota, and per usual, Teddy Hamilton delivered a sexy, warm, and fun performance of Calder. It was such a perfect listen. I could see myself revisiting it for a re-listen in the future!

Seven Year Itch brings back the Mountain Men with more banter, family sweetness, and humorous situations.

Calder is excited to go to his brother's wedding, until things take a turn when he has to share a room with Dakota, who he constantly butts heads with. Dakota was looking forward to this vacation as a way to take her mind off her divorce, not to deal with Calder. But Dakota sees an opportunity with Calder to get out of her post divorce funk and takes it.

While not quite as raucous as Nine Month Contract, I did thoroughly enjoy reading Seven Year Itch. Calder and Dakota had great chemistry, even though the miscommunication was going hard in this book it was still a fun time. I just love the family dynamics in all these mountain men books and can't wait for the next one!

Also, once again the duet narration makes this book soooo much better. I highly recommend the audiobook!

Absolutely cute AF. I actually like this one more than book 1. Also you know how when we read series with “brothers” they always tend to have similar personalities the majority of the time. Same thing new color essentially? Nope. Not this one. Calder is completely different than Wyatt, and I adore him! This one is going to be quirky like book 1. But like I said in book 1 review, it’s a romcom! It’s meant to be quirky, and it’s meant to be silly! Honestly I think what I also love most about this entire book is the relatability of the FMC. Not only is she completely relatable in her looks, but her age is close to what I am myself. She’s been through hell, and back in a relationship. I know I won’t be the only woman who appreciates having a FMC she can relate to on so many levels. We all will want our own Calder to adore us lol. So this book has us laughing a ton with the banter, and it also has the emotional depth with the healing journey that Dakota is on. The audio has Teddy Hamilton, and as I always say this man’s voice is perfection. He could read me the dictionary, and I would be enthralled. The female narrator did a beautiful job as well, and it’s done as duet. Can we say perfection? The spice is done nicely, especially when you add in the narration! Who doesn’t love a good spicy frenemies to lovers book? Personally I love them.

This Contemporary Romcom is book 2 in the Mountain Men Match Maker series. While this book is a stand alone it should be enjoyed in reading order, due to spoilers for the other books . The romance in this book is a frenemies to lovers. The book is spicy. That means spicy language, tension, inner monologue, and of course the spicy scenes. The spice is ALL open door, and written to help us imagine it in detail. Calder failed looking for a plus one for his brother’s wedding. Nothing can seem to go right all his dating profiles have been hacked, and now he’s stuck with Dakota. His sister in-laws best friend, and the one woman he cant stand. They’ve hated each other for seven years. Shes always been another mans problem. Now she isn’t. Things are heating up. Heat, and hate are so closely related. This is as a funny, steamy, and emotion packed read.

🔥 Seven Year Itch by Amy Daws – ★★★★☆

This was fun, spicy, and so dang readable, the kind of book that makes you want to stay up way too late just to watch two enemies fall into the "oops we’re hooking up now" chaos.

It’s a true enemies-to-lovers and friends-with-benefits rollercoaster, and honestly? Amy Daws knows exactly how to write tension. That said… the miscommunication toward the end? UNHINGED. I had to pause the audiobook and go breathe into a pillow.

Still, I devoured it. The spice? 🔥 The banter? Chef’s kiss. The audiobook? Perfection. Amy Daws is definitely an author I’ll keep coming back to.

This is my second Amy Daws book and I have become a huge fan! I am loving this series so far and I can’t wait for the next one! As with book one, book two is preformed in duet narration with Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon. The chemistry these two have along with the rom-com style of the book leaves the readers wanting more. Production did a great job pulling this one together! If you love a meddling family and a not-so-friends with benefits be sure to download this one!

Amy Daws proves once again why she's a must-read author! I was beyond excited for Seven Year Itch, especially after Nine Month Contract became a surprise favorite earlier this year. I couldn’t wait to experience more mountain man goodness with the Fletcher brothers, and Calder Fletcher did not disappoint! Both Calder and Dakota were incredibly relatable, and their chemistry as a couple was electric!

Seven Year Itch is a spicy enemies-to-lovers romance brimming with humor, angst, and heartfelt emotional depth. The heated exchanges and witty banter of these two characters was nothing short of captivating. Despite their animosity (which only lead to explosive sexual chemistry!), I loved how they pushed each other beyond their comfort zones. The glow-up and character development between these two as individuals was extraordinary. They truly brought out the best in each other in the end, which is everything I could hope for and more from one of my fave tropes!

🎧 Audio Review: The audiobook was an amazing experience, which is no surprise considering the caliber of talent we have with this narration duo. Erin Mallon is one of my favorite female narrators, and the way she embodied the feisty, strong personality of Dakota felt so real. Teddy Hamilton brought our grumpy cat daddy, Calder, to life in such an immersive way. These two together – pure audio perfection! 👌

I enjoyed the audiobook. Daws did a good job of keeping the reader enthralled. Solid story and would highly recommend!

Calder and Dakota have struck sparks of one kind of another off each other for years. They manage to avoid each other for the most part, but Wyatt and Trista's destination wedding is coming up. Not surprising to the readers, Calder's niece -- Everly, who is back from college for the summer -- has a plan up her sleeve to get these two seeing each other in a new light. It works, but it might kill them first. The banter is top notch, and the chemistry is thick. The audiobook is even better because we get two great narrators in duet. They get every bit of humor and emotion out of the text. It is really hard to stop listening.

This book was such a fun and emotional read! Amy Daws does a fantastic job blending humor, heart, and real-life relationship struggles into a story. I really connected with the characters and found myself invested in their journey. That being said, it was a little spicier than I usually go for. While the chemistry was definitely well-written, I personally prefer a bit more less spice. Still, the strong character development and emotional payoff made it well worth the read.

I loved the narration of this book. Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon are on point. The plot was a decent enemies with benefits situation. This book is a five alarm on the spicy index though so fair warning if you are not wanting something a bit racy and out there.

I really liked the story & gave the book 4 stars.. I appreciate having 2 narrators but did not like the chosen narrators. It felt like bad acting & the male narrator never changed his voice so when we was voicing the young boy it was really awkward

I loved the dual narration and the voice acting in this audiobook. There were parts that made my jaw drop in shock and others that made me laugh out loud. The story line and characters were fun to follow. I actually enjoyed the "love-to-hate" trope and the sex scenes were spicy. I'd read another book by this author!

Narrators knocked this one out of the park. A fun time. Laugh out loud hilarious. Calder and Dakota each had their reservations but together were perfect.

Whoop whoop. Another Fletcher mountain man is on the loose...unharnessed and ready to snag the woman of his... nightmares?

This story is laugh out loud class!

I know what to expect from an Amy Daws book but Seven Year Itch had me guffawing out loud at the most inopportune times.

I loved Caleb but adored Dakota. I was desperate to hear their 'back story and I wasn't disappointed.

The audio team of Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon are first class in bringing this amazing story to a technicolour dream for the ears.

I can't wait for the final Mountain Men Matchmaker novel, Honeymoon Phase, if Nine Month Contract and Seven Year Itch is the yardstick by which it will be measured!
