This is a romance between a struggling woman who has a chance encounter with a handsome man and he changes her life by telling her she is from a fairy tale island and all she has to do is head out into the ocean with him and another stranger. Once there she will be treated life a queen and all her worries will disappear. If she is willing to trust him.

As the last installment to this series, which I have loved, I was extremely excited to get my hands on this book. Personally, this is the first of the series that I didn’t absolutely love. I didn’t dislike it by any means, it was just more of a romance only type book and that isn’t really my preference of reading material. I didn’t really find the main character lovable or relatable and there wasn’t much character development on side characters. I expected a little trouble or challenges like the other books but even the main ones felt like a minor part of the book. Because of those things I felt a little disappointed but still liked the story overall. It was unique and I loved the idea of the lost city.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I feel like this book had more soft sweet romance than the others in the set. Which was beautiful.
A sweet attraction from first fumble. The characters meet via spilled coffee on one of them. And it goes from there
This book has found family. Lost home land.
New/found powers.
Once they meet and they talk, he realizes that she is not where she belongs and so many things change for her.
I just loved this book I read through it very quickly. And loved seeing a few characters from previous books pop in to say hi.
But you would be fine reading this book without needing to have read the others.

I’ve read the books that came before this one, and I was excited to read this latest one. You don’t need to have read the ones that came before this one; this book can definitely stand on its own. We meet poor, haunted Maddie who is afraid to use her voice too much because it’s gotten her into so much trouble in the past, and her life is turned completely around when she meets Caspian. This is a romantic tale with Caspian wooing Maddie into becoming who she was meant to be. This installment is well-written, engaging, and has a touch of mystery in finding out who Maddie’s parents are. While I’m more of a suspense-with-a-little-bit-of-romance reader, this is still a great read. Recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

An unexpected DNF.

I've absolutely loved the book in this particular series. Unfortunately, this one just didn't hit.

Our characters were kind of flat and I didn't care for the plot.

Eventually, I realized I wasn't having fun and stopped.

Still like the author and on board for the next one. I think this one was just a misstep.

Maddie is down her luck when she meets a tempting man, Caspian. Caspian helps her understand a part of herself she was always afraid of.

Cue the sweetest romance. Maddie really grows into her confidence and Caspian is consistently supportive.

I enjoyed the fantasy but I wish we learned a little bit more about her powers.

I would definitely recommend this book if you like light fantasy with a side of romance. ❤️ ✨

I’m excited to try some of the other books in this series of standalones.

🌊✨ Dirty Lying Sirens ✨🌊
by Sabrina Blackburry
📚 Enchanted Fates series

What if the sea was calling you home... and the one man who could guide you back was hiding secrets that could shatter the world? 🧜‍♀️🔥

Maddie’s life is unraveling—until Caspian appears. Mysterious. Magnetic. Dangerous. And from ATLANTIS. 😳💙 He says she’s a Siren who’s lost her gift… but she’s about to remember everything.

This romantasy swept me away with:
🧜‍♀️ Forgotten powers
💘 Soul-deep bonds
🌊 Lush island magic
🗝️ A hidden civilization
💥 Fate vs. freedom
💀 Love that could end worlds

Think Fourth Wing meets Atlantis: The Lost Empire with an addictive romance at its heart. Caspian is giving intense protective MMC energy, and Maddie’s awakening is EVERYTHING. 🌊🔥

If you love standalones in an interconnected magical world with fae, witches, dragons, vampires—and now sirens—you need this in your TBR!

Dirty Lying Sirens is a much awaited continuation of the Enchanted Fates series. As in Sabrina Blackburry's previous books from this series, this book has a mix of romance, magic, and world-building. I really enjoyed reading about Madeline's self-discovery journey and her connection with Caspian. This story took a fresh take on the myth of sirens that really felt original, while in line with what people know of sirens. As always, I loved the connection to previous books in the series and really look forward to seeing what other mythical creatures are in store for us next!

This is a romantasy novel likened to fourth wing. It was an interesting novel to dive into and definitely kept you on your toes. Part of the enchanted fates series, great world building and just the right amount of spicy!

You had me at Sirens, but to throw Atlantis in as well got me super excited. This book has the sort of awkward meet cute I like. The dialogue was kind of stilted at first but got better as the book progressed. I would absolutely pick up more of this authors books.
