A great 4 star read, well plotted amazing read. The cover is perfect, it is striking and would be something that would catch my eye in a book shop.

Tense, engaging thriller about a mother's love and her drive to save her daughter at all costs. Kate is the mother of two young adult daughters when her husband dies followed by the death of one of her daughters from an overdose. Kate tries to hold tight to daughter Clara but when Clara decides to take a year off to travel through Europe, Kate has to agree to let her loose, only Clara stops answering texts and phone calls and Kate can't bear to lose the only loved one she has left.
This book was interesting because the author tells us who the bad guy is and why they are trying to ruin the life of Kate and her family but Kate doesn't find out until the very end. When Clara is supposed to be in Amsterdam, Kate gets a call from an American woman named Maddy who says her daughter Amy was a roommate of Claras and has disappeared. Kate goes to Amsterdam to meet up with Maddy and the women walk into a web of secrets and violence. I thought the author did a good job of slowly revealing what was going on and I liked the strength of Kate as she fought to save Clara. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for a review.

Another well written psychological thriller from Jill Childs. Full of twists and turns, hate and revenge, I was gripped right from the start.
Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

A great read
You will be hooked from the first page
You will not want to put it down
Plenty of twists
Thanks Netgalley

I love it when you read a plot in a book. So, refreshing. I am also a huge fan of short chapters, and this one has that. I find it helps the story to flow easier. I connected with this book being a mother. I was kept guessing and love it when I am wrong. Highly recommend.

This book wasn't at all what I was expecting, it was so much more. From the very beginning it was obvious that we were dealing with a total sociopath. If someone can act the way Johnathan did at ten years old what will they be capable of as an adult. There were some great twists in this story and the ending had me inwardly cheering. I have to admit though that on occasion I found Kate's obsessiveness quite irritating. It was understandable that she should be worried about Clara but at times she took it too far. In the end, however, her mother's instinct paid off. This was the first book I had read by this author but I hope to try more of her work in the future.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book

oooo this was so good. so many different twists that i wasn’t expecting. it felt very well developed and then fact that everything linked up was so crazy. i enjoyed that we were in 2 point of views as we could see different versions of the story which allowed us to start piecing together the story. it was very well written and i haven’t ever read a book like it! this was my first book by this author and i will definitely be reading more!!

Such a good read!! It kept me wanting to read more. Definitely recommend this book too all readers !!! Five stars!!!

Daughter, Missing is a great psychological thriller with an unusual premise. Kate and Simon are living the good life with their two daughters, Bella and Clara but when Simon's 10 year old son from a previous marriage visits the family he fails to fit in. Kate then suffers a number of tragedies and relies on younger daughter, Clara, for emotional support. Clara, as a young woman, finds this stifling and decides to go travelling, ending up in Amsterdam. Across the Atlantic another mother suffers the loss of her husband in dramatic circumstances and her daughter, Amy, plans to spread her wings, ending up sharing a flat with Clara in Amsterdam. Then the girls go missing. The link between the two young women, and their mothers, is one dangerous young man, out to take his revenge. There are plenty of twists and turns and Daughter, MIssing is definitely a book that is hard to put down. Many tanks to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the opportunity to read and review this book.

4.5 stars! Kate has already suffered great loss in her life when she receives a call from another mother who can’t find her child. She learns that child is roommates with Kate’s daughter, who has now also gone missing. What follows is a thrilling cat and mouse game as Kate desperately tries to find Clara.
This was a great psychological thriller. The author did a fantastic job weaving together the plots and points of view. Will definitely be putting this author on my must read list!
Thanks to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the opportunity to read this fantastic ARC!

So many things a re going on for Kate and Kate's youngest daughter Clara has informed her she want to go on a gap year and go travelling, Her first place is Amsterdam, bit she is not going alone, she is travelling with her travel buddy Amy Price, Kate does not want her to go and is worried for her but she is young and Clara to have a good experience and see places whilst she is young enough and does not stand in her way, she gives her, her blessing.

I haven't read anything by Jill Childs before (I know, where have I been living?!!?) but if this book is anything to go by, I won't be making that mistake in the future.
This is a tense and atmospheric psychological thriller that is full of twists and turns many of them unexpected. It's written at a steady pace with excellent characters and whilst not all of them are particularly likeable, they are well developed and really interesting.
The plot is enthralling and had me reading way longer into the night than I should and whilst there are bits that are a little implausible, it didn't ruin my enjoyment of this book and I have no hesitation in recommending it to lovers of psychological thrillers that aren't full of violence and gore.
Thanks to the author, Boldwood Books and NetGalley for enabling me to read and share my thoughts of this absorbing book.

Yes! This book was fantastic. The perfect blend of tension, deceit and revenge and once I started it, I couldn’t put it down. The start of the book sets the scene perfectly and builds just the right amount of unease before moving into the main aspect of the plot. It’s a pacy thriller and you feel as if you’re living every moment through Kate’s anguish. Highly recommended, thank you to NetGalley, Boldwood Books and the author for the chance to review.

Thank you, Netgalley, Jill Childs, and Boldwood Books for the eARC. A fast-paced and gripping thriller with layer upon layer of secrets to uncover. Twists come just when you think you've figured it out—kept me hooked from beginning to end!

Daughter, Missing by Jill Childs.
This was a really good read. I loved the cover and blurb of this book. Jonathan/Damien were really pure evil. I did not like him at all. I did love Kate for her persistence. I liked the writing style and the story. Twisty and gripping. I thought i knew what was going on. But I was so wrong. I hope there is more to come. Especially how it has ended. I definitely recommend this book.

Daughter, Missing was a fantastic thrilling and fast-paced page turner. I was on the edge of my seat for the entirety of this read, there were so many twists and turns. The author created the perfect atmosphere, full of tension and suspense that left me holding my breath and dying to know what comes next.
I really liked Kate as a character, she has already been through so much & the fierce mama bear comes out when her daughter needs her most, she is tough, determined and relentless. In true thriller style, there are also equally unlikeable characters, particularly Jonathan, who is just awful.
Kate is literally living every mothers worst nightmare while also working through grief, the author portrayed this all so well, bringing the emotions of the characters to life.
Daughter, Missing is a gripping, dark and thrilling read. A must read.
