I am not normally a fan of monster romances, but I decided to give this book a read. If you go in expecting exactly what you should based on the title, the book is a lot of fun! It’s fast-paced, funny, and surprisingly very sweet. With a grumpy × sunshine dynamic, forced proximity, and all the charm of a small town, it is exactly what you expect it to be with a HEA.

The story jumps right in within the first few chapters, which kept things moving and made it an easy, engaging read. It was definitely outside my usual wheelhouse, but I genuinely enjoyed it!

3.5/5 stars.

I think this work has the building blocks to be a fun cozy read, but it missed the mark. I know the pub date is a little ways away so hopefully the book will be a lot more polished by the time of publication.

Thank you NetGalley and Harlequin, for this ARC in exchange for my honest feedback.

I absolutely loved this book! It’s a cozy romance with shifters of all kinds. In the end, I felt as though I had just watched a hallmark romance movie. I can’t believe it’s over and I can’t wait to revisit Claw Haven in future books. Hopefully I won’t have to wait too long to hear more about these characters.

This book swept me off my feet in the best, most ridiculous way. I loved every second of it. The romance is fiery and awkward and sweet in the most unexpected places. Their bond doesn’t feel forced or rushed. It builds through tension and snark and moments that made my chest ache in the best way. I adored the slow unraveling of trust, the vulnerability that slipped through the banter, the way magic and love tangled together. The writing is cozy and warm but also sharply funny, and there’s something really magical about the town itself. I also love how the story lets the romance breathe. There’s spice, yes, and it’s fantastic, but it never comes at the expense of emotion. You feel every touch, every word, every shift in the air between them. I didn’t want to leave. I loved this so much.

I thought this such a fun setup, and Alaska as the setting was great. I felt the characters could use a bit more polishing but i enjoyed the story nonetheless.

Wow, this book was soooo cute! Imagine a pampered socialite stuck in Alaska… and then she accidentally bonds with a grumpy alpha werewolf. Luna and Oliver can technically end the bond, but they’ve gotta wait for the snow to melt to get their divorce flower. Plus Luna’s ridiculously chill fiancé is veryyyy understanding! So all is good.

While they’re all snowed in, sparks start flying and feelings pop up. Along the way, Luna figures out who she really is, and Oliver finally lets go of his past and learns to forgive himself.
Isabelle Taylor’s world is totally fun and I could not help but smile as Luna endeared herself to the town.

If you want something light, fluffy, and perfect for zoning out, grab this one. You won’t regret it.
Toodles!

I thought this was very cute. Premise: Sunshine Luna accidentally gets werewolf married to grumpy Oliver. Antics and love ensure. I found it very fun and finished it in one sitting.

The reason I am giving this three stars is because I found both the characterization and the romance to be weaker than I hoped. The leads had traumas that I didn’t feel were properly explored and felt kind of surface level. The romance also felt unfortunately a little rushed. Oliver begins as a rude grump and then suddenly in an interaction he’s perfectly nice and continues acting that way. I was skipping back to see what I missed. Furthermore, it seemed clear to me that Oliver loved Luna, but I didn’t see it as reciprocal as I would like.

Thank you to Harlequin and NetGalley for this ARC.

This was a solid read! Perfect palette cleanser between more high stakes books. If you are looking for a small town paranormal cozy fantasy this might be right up your alley.

Tropes:
🏡Small Town
☀️Grumpy x Sunshine
🔒Forced Proximity
🐺Werewolf Shifter

Plot: Our Fmc Luna is in Alaska on a business trip for her father's wealthy company but ends up getting stuck in Claw Haven after a snow storm. After checking in at the Inn run by our Mmc Oliver it’s as the title says, she is accidentally wedded to a werewolf.

My Thoughts: At first I thought this book was going to be a bust seeing how stuck up and bratty our fmc is at first but she really does a 180 and becomes likeable. I love a good grumpy sunshine dynamic and Oliver nails grumpy on the head. He really does not want to like Luna but he ends up being so concerned about her wellbeing even if he denies it and I gobble that up every time. Luna and Oliver complement each other really well and weren't one of those couples you think would totally break up 6 months later. One thing that rubbed me the wrong way was that she was technically engaged this whole time even if it was an open relationship. I feel like the engagement should have ended sooner or the fiancé could have been a bit more upset over the whole situation. I LOVED the locals of the town, especially the porcupine chocolatier. I'm excited to get more books set in Claw Haven so I can get even more of the townspeople

Fun. Flirty. Formulaic. This was exactly what I expected to read in an heiress/werewolf small-town romance. The characters felt a little flat, but it was a snack to read. I would have liked to see some more emotional depth and connection beyond "being bonded and hot".

Super Cute Story! The perfect grumpy/sunshine trope. Spoiled, always fun, life of the party heiress Luna gets trapped in small town Alaska at a motel owned by super broody werewolf Oliver and his family. after a minor drink snafu, they end up bonded. its a wild ride and a finding yourself kind of journey with a feel good ending! 100% recommend!

This is the first book I have read by this author, and I can't wait to read more! Luna finds herself staying in an inn that is a bit run down and owned by a family of werewolves. There is a huge party and she takes a drink from the mating body nectar thinking that it's just another drink. Oliver, a werewolf, had also been chugging it thinking that it was just a bottle of liquor.

You can pretty much tell where the book is going to go, and the part I was waiting for happened rather quickly. It was pretty anticlimactic, but it was expected. I enjoyed the spicy scenes and I felt like they are well written. The cover of this book is also so well done and has such a cute and cozy vibe to it. The ending was great and it was a perfect happily ever after. Thank you to Netgalley, Harlequin-Romance, and Isabelle Taylor for an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion.

5/5 ⭐️

This books was such a cute, cozy read. I liked the fact that the only real conflict was the main characters admitting their feelings for each other. It definitely gave hallmark vibes of the rich girl, who is engaged, getting stranded in a small town, falls for the grumpy guy, and the rich fiancé comes to pick her up and take her back to her “real life”. I would definitely recommend reading this book if you want something easy but cute.

Thank you NetGalley, the publishers, and Isabelle Taylor for allowing me to review this book before it releases.

Accidentally Wedded to a Werewolf is the story of Luna and Oliver. Luna has car trouble and ends up in a shifter/monster friendly small town at the hotel owned by Oliver and his family. Thanks to a magical werewolf bonding potion, they ended up married. I liked Oliver more then I liked Luna and while I thought the book was ok there were a couple things that I had a hard time with.

While the story is resolved and they get there HEA, there was some things that bothered me a bit, one of which if I wish I had known ahead of time. Things moved pretty fast in the book, which I expected and was ok with, but this book isn't one that I'll read again in the future.

Thank you, Harlequin Romance, for providing this book for review consideration via NetGalley. All thoughts and options are my own.

What happens when a spoiled heiress gets stranded in middle-of-nowhere Alaska with a grumpy werewolf?

I’m not typically a grumpy/sunshine tripe lover but this was so well done! I loved Luna and Oliver’s character arcs. This book was a great palate cleanser from my last book, and a cute, cozy read. It has the sweet charm of a small town where everyone cares about everyone, and a whimsical feel reminiscent of Halloweentown.

Movie vibes: Halloweentown plus Elle in Legally Blonde

I was fortunate to receive an ARC for an honest review. My opinions are my own.

DNF @ 46% — I wanted to love this, but it just wasn’t giving what it promised.

The premise had everything I love: werewolves, a forced bond/mating trope, a dash of scandal with a prior engagement. But unfortunately, Accidentally Wedded to the Werewolf fell flat for me.

Luna came across as selfish under the guise of being “bored” and doing things for others—but none of her choices felt thoughtful or selfless. And Oliver? Just a grumpy jerk with zero charm to balance it out. I can love a good grump, but there has to be some emotional depth or growth, and I wasn’t getting any.

What should have been a juicy love triangle (she’s engaged but mated to someone else!) was completely undercut by the fact that her fiancé genuinely did. not. care. There was zero tension or jealousy—just a bland shrug. It killed what could have been the book’s most compelling conflict.

The only real source of conflict was Oliver’s trauma, which I guessed almost immediately… because it was a near carbon copy of Derek Hale’s backstory from Teen Wolf. (Werewolf sleeps with a hunter, she betrays him, burns down the house, kills family? Sound familiar?) Once I realized that, I couldn’t unsee it—and I was too bored by the stagnant characters to keep going.

This had potential, but it needed sharper stakes, more emotionally engaging characters, and a plot twist that didn’t feel like déjà vu. Maybe it picks up after the halfway mark, but I just didn’t have the patience to stick around and find out.

This was so funny. I truly enjoyed the banter. I haven't picked up a werewolf book in a hot while and this one definitely did it for me.

Thank you Isabelle Taylor and NetGalley for a copy of Accidentally Wedded to a Werewolf. I absolutely love this novel. It is fun, charming, and so cozy. The universe created is reminiscent of Halloweentown and it’s exciting to read about the different monsters who reside in Claw Haven. The fast-paced flow is welcoming and the writing is great enough you can see the characters grow into themselves and towards each other. The lore is simple and easy to follow. Every character is an absolute delight and I found myself wanting to know about every single one of them. I enjoyed every single second of the this book and had a ton of fun reading.
