Accidentally Wedded to a Werewolf was exactly the kind of unhinged paranormal romance I love. The title sounds like a fever dream, but Isabelle Taylor somehow made it heartfelt, spicy, and surprisingly deep. I was not prepared to feel things. At all.

The setup? Absolute gold. A fake wedding gone real with a grumpy, brooding werewolf who clearly did not expect to catch feelings. There’s forced proximity, one bed, “we’re just pretending” energy, and moments so tension-filled I had to pause and breathe. And the way he calls her wife? Unwell.

What I really appreciated was how Taylor gave both main characters strong emotional arcs. The werewolf husband isn’t just growly and hot (although he absolutely is). He’s guarded, soft beneath the surface, and deeply loyal. The heroine is funny, messy, and refuses to just roll over and play house. Their dynamic was spicy but also vulnerable, and that balance made the romance feel earned.

The pacing flew by, the banter was sharp, and the vibes were gothic small-town with just enough danger to keep it fun. Honestly, this book understood the assignment.

👰‍♀️🐺 accidental marriage | grumpy x sunshine | forced proximity | enemies to lovers | cozy paranormal

You guys. YOU GUYS. I did not expect to be obsessed with this book but here we are. 😮‍💨💅

We’ve got Luna, a rich heiress with major Alexis Rose energy; think spoiled but in a lovable, chaotic kind of way. She’s stranded in a monster town in Alaska (yes, Alaska), accidentally drinks a potion, and boom… now she’s magically married to a grumpy werewolf innkeeper. Like??? Instant soulmate bond, but also… enemies. ✨Tension for days.✨

Oliver? Yeah, he’s broody and annoyed and emotionally constipated. AKA my fave type of MMC. But he’s also kind of a cinnamon roll underneath all the growling. And y’all, the “mine” moment? I squealed. 😩🔥

There’s no cheating even though Luna is engaged (open relationship, don’t worry). The vibes are spicy AND soft, with a side of found family, magical small town coziness, and a surprisingly emotional character arc. I loved watching Luna grow into herself and seeing Oliver slowly (and reluctantly) fall for her. He falls first, obviously. 💘

Was it a little messy? Yes.
Did I still devour it in one sitting like it was werewolf flavored candy? Also yes. 🍬🐺

✨Final rating: 4/5 stars
🌶 Spice: 3/5 - a little knotty 👀 but in a fun way
🧣 Vibes: cozy, chaotic, and slightly unhinged (in the best way)

If It Happened One Summer had a baby with a cinnamon roll werewolf romance… this is it.

Thank you to NetGalley, Isabelle Taylor, and Harlequin for the eARC of this book.

This was a bit messy but I still enjoyed myself. The heroine is engaged to someone else and they have an open relationship… not my vibe but I’m glad I still gave this a shot.

Accidentally Wedded to a Werewolf is a fast paced cute and cozy read. The writing was captivating and the story was adorably fun. I loved the small town feel and the overall coziness of it. At first, Luna, the FMC, seems a tad over the top, she's very reminiscent of Alexis from Schitt's Creek. She's wealthy, a bit spoiled, and maybe a touch airheaded, but her heart's in the right place. She grew on me as the story progressed. I loved Oliver's character, especially his grumpy side. I also appreciated how the author handled Luna's engagement. There was no cheating involved, which was a big relief! All in all, this was a quick and enjoyable read!

Arc Review !!

Tropes: enemies to lovers, grumpy x sunshine, forced proximity, accidental marriage

Let me start off by saying this book was such a cute little read! With the tropes listed above, it's what I normally go for so I was expecting to love it already. I haven't seen many books set in Alaska so that was really interesting as well as the smaller town vibe. Overall, it was slightly messy with the whole open relationship aspect which I don't normally go for but that shouldn't deter you from the book! There is a good amount of self reflection and fantasy portions that worked really well in here too! Overall it is another omegaverse book but they just never really get old.

Thank you NetGalley and Harlequin for the read!!

Rating: ⭐⭐ (2/5)

Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for sending me an eARC of this upcoming book.

I typically enjoy paranormal romance / cozy fantasy books. When I saw this title, I believed that I would enjoy it. The premise and the description of the story seemed promising and very much like something I would enjoy reading for fun. I thought that the cover was well done and found the writing to be easy to read. However, there were some notable areas in the story that I struggled to overlook. Everything in the story seemed to happen at lightning speed with everything being told to the readers in place of being shown. I struggled with the FMC, even knowing that she was meant to be a spoiled rich heiress. The main characters felt two-dimensional for me. I found myself enjoying minor characters such as the MMC's grandmother and the FMC's fiancé more than the actual main characters.

Overall, the premise of the story seemed enjoyable, but it fell short in the storytelling and the character development.

✨ARC REVIEW✨

Tropes:
🐺grumpy x sunshine
🐺marriage of inconvenience/accidental marriage
🐺forced proximity
🐺enemies(ish) to lovers
🐺bonding

This book was drama from start to finish but it was a fun time. It has the personality of a small town romance with the lore of omegaverse sprinkled in. It takes place in a small town in Alaska set in the modern day, only monsters live amongst the humans in everyday society. Be forewarned that the FMC is engaged throughout the book to a different guy, but they have an open relationship. It was a bit of a messy story for me, but I know some people are really into that and I don’t think it was done poorly, just not a trope I generally go for. Anyways, the MMC is broody and protective and super caring for his family, and the FMC goes through some self-reflection and has a lot of growth as well. It was definitely a fun read.

Thank you NetGalley and Harlequin for the early copy!

I adored this book…Luna and Oliver are the main characters of this story. Paranormal romances with wolves are great. He is very closed off and Luna attempts to break down his walls. Unfortunately, it pushes him away more. This has a pretty good amount of spice in it. Check his book out when you can!

This book was so much fun! It was light and sweet and fun while also so emotional. I loved reading Luna and Oliver’s journey and felt despite this being in a world where monsters exist and they’re dealing with an extraordinary circumstance they could still be relatable. Luna spent her whole life not being taken seriously and just being the “party girl” - the story of her growth is great and needed.

Accidentally Wedded to a Werewolf Book by Isabelle Taylor 🐺❤️‍🔥🍷- These are my personal ratings!

Rating 3/5 - Two cons here. It was the MMC and how long before we see a resolution start to arise. I don’t believe we get to see a true excitement climax in this story either. I loved the concept and the plot itself but, I found myself wanting more. ☹️

Spice: 3/5 🌶️🌶️🌶️ - A few descriptive scenes so this book would lean on the spicer side. I REALLY thought we were getting into after the MMC starts throwing the word, mine, around. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

Overall Review: I loved the FMC, Luna. You could see her character evolving every chapter. Oliver, not so much. Yeah sure he was getting less intense but, overall he was still ruining everything. He was ruining everything in the sense that Luna gave him so many opportunities. He pushes. She tries to break the shell. He pushes her away more. LUNA HAS TO BE THE RESOLVE IN THE END. If you are into the woman having to be the one to fix everything, everytime, all the time this might be for you. The paranormal romance pulled me in but, I left feeling disappointed.

I’m going to look into Isabelle’s other stories. I hope to find one more to my liking. If you have any suggestions, let me know!

I liked the writing and this book was very cute and whimsical. Strong characters, believable enemies to lovers, and the wolf pups were adorable. I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would, it was just the right amount of cute and spicy. My thanks to the publisher for a copy of this book that I received from Netgalley. 4 ⭐

This was such a good book. I loved the story and the writing so much. The characters were great and the story flowed smoothly. Will definitely read more books by this author in the future

Accidentally Wedded to a Werewolf was a very cute read however I had to major problems with the book.

The first was the characters. While I really did enjoy Luna's character towards the end of the book she came off very childish and annoying for a good chunk of the book. I also really didn't like Uncle Roy who seemed to pop in and out without reason which can also be said for Hector.

My other problem was the pacing. While I can understand the bond may have pushed some instalust it seemed like all they did was have sex and they still weren't getting to know each other. I also was not a big fan of the first divorce flower mishaps. I think I would have enjoyed it more if they went in search of the flower later and it was While they were searching they realized they wanted to stay bonded.

Overall it was a cute read. 3 out of 5 stars.

This was a really cute romance following fun characters. I like how it was set in Alaska and I feel like the grumpy/sunshine aspect was done really well. Overall, a quick yet enjoyable read!

This one was just okay for me, I really like the premise and author's writing style but I struggled with a few of the plot points and characters to the point where I lost the cozy, whimsical vibe I typically enjoy with a story in this genre.

I will probably try another book from this author in the future and I think there is definitely an audience for this story.

I wasn't sold on what looked to be a cheating trope when I started reading, and while they definitely committed emotional infidelity, the author made it pretty clear that Luna's (because of course her name is Luna) fiance was cool with them having sex together. It was still cheating, even if her fiance is extremely shallow. There wasn't enough backlash on Grandmother trying to trap Luna in Claw Haven by burning the divorce flower, which is a bonkers thing to do even if you think she and your grandson are soulmates. Overall, though, cute romcom and nice story about people opening up to each other.

Actual rating: somewhere between 4.5/5 but closer to 5 because it made me feel all warm and fuzzy.

Why was this the cutest??? This was the perfect combination of It Happened One Summer and Bride. I am obsessed and in love

I really enjoyed the cozy winter vibes in the story. I also loved the variety of monsters that inhabited Claw Haven! The hedgehog chocolate shop owner was so cute. The cast of secondary characters were very lovable all around. I didn't like how soon the spice came into the story, it kind of took away from the coziness a bit for me. The main characters fell a little flat and the relationship development wasn't as romantic as I thought it could have been.

2.5 stars
Thank you NetGalley & the publisher for this ARC

I really enjoyed this book. It was such a heartfelt story! Watching the characters grow on their own while also falling in love was so lovely to see. There were some beautiful moments where Luna and Oliver really connected and found comfort and strength in one another. I just wanted more of that. I'm giving it 4 stars only because I wish their relationship development had been explored a bit deeper—but overall, such a touching and memorable read!
