I don't think this book was my taste personally. I had very high hopes because I love werewolf books and cozy romances, but I just could not get into it. The humor fell flat, I didn't feel connected to the characters, and the whole thing with fiancée just started to get on my nerves. The book had some things I really liked, the whole town vibe and pack dynamics were cute. I feel that someone else could really love this book, but it wasn't for me.

The book was intriguing, but felt a little juvenile for what the premise was supposed to be. Still enjoyed it!

I love reading anything that is a werewolf romance. I enjoyed this story about Luna and Oliver. It did take me some time to get used to Luna's character because she was so spoiled. I found her very irritating, but I love her character growth. I wish there was more of her backstory with her family. It touches on it, but more would help make her personality more believable and understandable. I liked Oliver and his character growth as well. The different family members did get confusing to keep up with especially with the townsfolk. I loved the details about their experiences with the "bond" and how it affected Luna and Oliver. I think the author did a great job with the ending and bringing all the characters together.

Honestly this book surprised me, it was fun and fast to read. Loved the vibes. Idk about the length but it was great.

I loved this shifter romance!!!

I absolutely loved this book! Isabelle Taylor is amazing and I can’t wait to read more by her.

The cozy little town of Claw Haven is the perfect backdrop for a shifter romance and when Luna gets stranded at an inn run by werewolves she gets a little more than she bargains for! A family.

It’s got the grumpy sunshine trope going on, which isn’t my favorite but somehow it works with Oliver/Luna.

——

I will say that the relationship between Luna and her actual fiancé is o.d.d, they seem to have an open relationship and I am not knocking it for those who enjoy such things, but it was a little eye roll inducing.

This was a cute rendition of the Grumpy/Sunshine romance genre. The only slight quirk is that he is a werewolf and she is a bubbly socialite.
In this novel opposites are forced into an attraction because they both drink a potion that is only supposed to be for couples to be drunk during their mating ceremony. Ooops!

Luna Stack comes from a very successful family but her worth is never quite grasped. She covertly does advertising for her companies' firm so her father doesn't find out. In his opinion Luna is best seen as a fun loving party girl with lots of social media numbers.

Oliver Musgrove is a man set to become the leader of the pack when his Grandmother retires. He has lots of anguish over a fire that occurred when their whole pack lived in the southwest. Going to the other extreme, the whole pack buys an inn in Claw Haven, Alaska. Oliver is in charge of the inn and can't seem to bring himself to ask for help with the upkeep so when Luna arrives in a snow storm, the Inn is in a sorry state, in fact the roof chooses then to leak.

Meanwhile, Luna decides that she can help various town businesses with their marketing and advertising for free while they wait for a special flower to bloom that will brew the potion to take away the "mating".

This is a blossoming romance, (pardon the pun), and all is not what it appears in their story.

Thank you NetGalley and Harlequin Publishing for the ARC. All opinions expressed are strictly my own.

I loved this story! The setting was fun, the cast of characters was interesting, and the story had so much heart. The author took the grumpy/sunshine trope and gave it the twist of neither really being their trope and reminding us that people have depth and that trauma, past experiences, and the people around us form the way we present ourselves to the world. I hope we get more books telling the stories of Claw Haven because this was the cutest small town romance!

All in all? I Loved the premise (accidental marriage now with more magic, yay!), loved the general coziness vibe (small town inn in Alaska with quirky neighbors, loving family and a grumpy innkeeper, yay!), and loved the way a love triangle was handled (it’s not cheating if he’s cool with it!).

I will say that I couldn’t quite connect with the main characters for the first half. It it me? It’s probably me… Maybe I wasn’t in the right headspace for cozy monsters and I should have read in the winter instead but I found myself kinda tuning out as I read along. Like the low stakes got repetitive for me after a bit? Yes, yes, yes Oliver trusts no one. Tell me more about how grumpy he is. And okay, okay I know how much Luna loves to strike a “cute” pose but my god, at some point she has to act normal, right? I wanted more internal strife, I think, as they moved towards character development? I will say, things sped up around the 70% mark and I felt like I finally started enjoying Luna and Oliver and their growing/shifting (no pun intended) relationship.

Would I recommend? Yeah, if you’re in the mood for small town, accidental marriage, enemies(ish) to lovers, shifterverse, low-stakes romance: this would be a good fit! It’s cute and enjoyable. Don’t expect any earth shattering character development but eventually everyone gets where they need to go.

Thanks to NetGalley and Harlequin for the chance to read early in exchange for review!

This was a sweet, cozy, small-town werewolf romance. It was a bit clunky at times, but the fun side characters and the sweet family/pack vibes made up for it. I’ve definitely read better werewolf stories but I would still recommend :)

3/5 ⭐️

Luna Stack the heirs of a successful appliance company, is stuck in the little town of Claw Haven, Alaska until the snow thaws. The only place to stay Musgrove Inn, a cozy inn ran by the Musgrove Wolf Pack. After crashing into their sign, getting yelled at by the inn own Oliver, and the roof caving in a few feet away from her Luna is ready to let loose at the inn’s party. What she wasn’t expecting was her drink of choice to be a bonding nectar and now she finds herself accidentally married to Oliver. Sure her fiance won’t mind and sure they have an open relationship but Oliver is too much grumpy and rude to deal with! Now stuck together for a foreseeable future these two have to learn to be in each other’s proximity all day and not fall in love.

This book was cute, and enjoyable. I loved the idea of accidentally drinking the nectar and being stuck with each other. While I enjoyed the book as a whole I found Luna to be rather insufferable and a little to entitled. I get that she was a rich girl who never worked a day in her life thanks to her daddy but I felt that her attitude didn’t change much, even when she was showing growth. Also I hated the way things played out between her, Oliver, and Hector her fiance. It was pretty messed up. Oliver had some mild growth in this story as well, but nothing for me that felt of significant value . I think where I struggled with the book was kind of in the middle of the book, it felt repetitive as far as the conversations the characters were having.

I did enjoy the found family aspect, the love for a tiny town, and the way this bond was created. Rather than being the typical they smell their mate it’s a chosen mate, I also loved the idea that they can cut the bond without dying and even the way they can feel what their partner is feeling during intimacy. That was refreshing. Rather than being a spooky read I really feel like this is a winter season read by the fire. DEFINITELY cozy!

Isabelle Taylor’s ACCIDENTALLY WEDDED TO A WEREWOLF is saucy and silly and so, so fun. I can’t recommend it more. This book is an ode to all small town romance lovers (and diehard Twilight fans).

What happens when a high-society heiress wakes up magically married to a small-town werewolf?

Accidentally Wedded to a Werewolf kicks off Isabelle Taylor’s new Claw Haven series with plenty of spice, humor, and shifter drama. When a “fancypants” FMC finds herself magically bound to a grumpy local werewolf, small-town chaos, sizzling chemistry, and a few unexpected twists follow. This was my first book by Isabelle Taylor, and I loved the quirky charm of this story! If you enjoy paranormal romance with humor, heart, and heat, this one’s worth adding to your TBR.

Big thanks to NetGalley and Harlequin - Romance for the chance to read and review this fun book!

This was such a cute, humorous, cozy read. It was very entertaining and interesting. The world was such an interesting concept and I enjoyed reading about it. The FMC was a little annoying at first but she grew on me lol.
There was so much character growth- from everyone, not just the MCs, which I really enjoyed. I honestly really loved this book! I definitely recommend reading it if you want a cozy, cute, funny read!!

Accidentally Wedded To A Werewolf By Isabelle Taylor Release Date: October 7, 2025

A fast-paced, cozy monster romance with plenty of bite! Set in a charming Alaskan town teeming with supernatural beings, this story mixes humor, emotional growth, and magical mishaps. Luna is spoiled but layered, while Oliver is the ultimate grumpy-sunshine pairing. Their reluctant magical bond forces them together—and sparks fly.

I loved the banter, small-town dynamics, and the immersive world-building. While Luna may be a tougher character to love, Oliver carries the emotional weight beautifully. This reminded me of Twilight meets a Hallmark winter movie—with werewolves.

Thank you to NetGalley, author Isabelle Taylor, and Harlequin – Romance for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I thought for sure this book was going to be terrible and let me be the one to say proudly / I had thoroughly enjoyed it! If you’re looking for something light with a good dose of spice, pick up Accidentally Wedded to a Werewolf. I’m not usually into shifter romances, but the paranormal elements were blended into everyday life so well that it felt natural, not over the top.

It had It Happened One Summer vibes, which I loved—grumpy/sunshine energy, solid chemistry, and some genuinely funny moments. Luna was FUN. I’ll definitely be checking out more from Isabelle Taylor.

Thanks to Harlequin Romance and NetGalley for the ARC.

The cover of Accidentally Wedded to a Werewolf got me & I thought I would love this. Sadly I did not

Oops, I drank a magical potion. Oops me too. Oops now we are wed.

This book was light and fun but don't go expecting stellar characters portrayals or depth in romance. Its kind of a cruise control, palate cleansing read and I don't mean that in a bad way.

A decent read.

Accidentally Wedded to a Werewolf felt a lot like a Hallmark movie with a supernatural twist. Luna gets snowed into the tiny town of Claw Haven and accidentally bonded to the grumpy owner of the town’s only inn.

It took me a little while to buy in to Luna and Oliver as main characters. Luna really plays into the vapid party girl stereotype and Olivier is so grouchy and makes it everyone’s problem. But as they opened up I got more and more invested. I did not love that Luna had a fiance, even if there wasn’t technically any cheating and that repeatedly pulled me out of the story, but that was a me problem. Overall, this was a quick, fun fantasy romance that will be great during cozy spooky season.

Accidentally Wedded to a Werewolf is the kind of cozy, slightly chaotic paranormal romance that feels like wrapping yourself in a fuzzy blanket—if that blanket had claws, witty banter, and just enough heat to make you blush.

The meet-cute? Hilariously messy. The werewolf hero? Growly, protective, and far too charming for my own good. The heroine? Smart, stubborn, and so relatable I wanted to be her best friend. Watching them stumble from accidental vows into real feelings? Pure comfort—and yes, it made me grin like an idiot.

It’s got all the fun: forced proximity, fated mates, and just the right sprinkle of spice to keep the pages turning. A warm, slightly unhinged escape with humor, heart, and plenty of wolfish charm.

Four stars because I’m a sucker for cranky heroes with secret soft sides—and this one scratched that itch perfectly. 🐺❤️✨

Accidentally Wedded to a Werewolf is a warm, cozy romance perfect for readers craving light paranormal fantasy with a playful twist. The setting is delightful, the banter fun, and the mythical small‑town backdrop full of potential. While Luna’s character arc and the fiancé subplot may not land for all readers, Oliver’s transformation and the found‑family dimension redeem the story. A fun, flirty escape and ideal if you’re in the mood for cottage‑core monster vibes.

Rating: 3.5–4★ — Not groundbreaking, but a reliable romantic palate‑cleanser with charm and heart.
