Thank you Harlequin Romance and NetGalley for this ARC, in exchange this is my honest review.
Accidently Wedded to a Werewolf by Isabelle Taylor is a wholesome, cozy, small town, romance that I swooned for.
Luna is a party girlie, engaged, heiress, but wants more. She wants to be seen by her father as worth more than the party girlie image. She wants to be in the marketing department and is secretly doing so on the side, and is good at it. She finds herself stranded in Claw Haven a monster safe haven during a snow storm after a conference. Welcomed to the Musgrove Inn run by a family of werewolves, she meets the grumpy Oliver.
Oliver is always angry. Ever since the fire started by a hunter that almost killed his family and forced them to move to Alaska, he hasn’t been the same. Now, he can’t stand the spoiled brat that is his guest. One night he finds a drink and drinks it, only problem? It’s bonding nectar and Luna accidently drank it too. Now, they are married in a wolf sense, can’t be out of each other’s presence, and out of divorce flower to make the break up drink. They have to wait until the snow thaws, and with that they find themselves drawn to each other. What is their bond? What are their true feelings?
Okay, I loved this book. I can’t describe how much fun it was. Oliver is a grumpy hottie and Luna is bubbly and cute. I loved the family and the town dynamics. They were all so great and I want to learn more about them, like Beth! She is so sweet. Taylor carefully crafts a sweet cozy town that is able to grow with the help of Luna and her enthusiasm for it. Also I haven’t read knotting in a published book and I enjoyed it! It was spicy and fun. I was screaming for resolution with Luna’s fiancée, it wasn’t discussed for a lot of the book and I wanted closure for Luna and Ollie!
Overall, I rate this 5/5 stars. Taylor did such a wonderful job with this novel and I want more of Claw Haven! Buy or pre-order by October 07, 2025.

I made it about 75% through this one before deciding it just wasn’t for me. I really did want to enjoy it. The concept is fun—a grumpy werewolf innkeeper stuck in a magical bond with a spoiled, stranded heiress in a snowstorm? That’s such a cozy set-up, and I went in expecting snarky banter, tension, and a satisfying enemies-to-lovers arc. Unfortunately, what I got instead felt rushed, uneven, and a bit forced.
The bond was supposed to affect the werewolf more than the human, yet Luna, the one constantly stating she wasn’t into him, was the one pushing for more? It didn’t add up. Especially when the first intimate scene came almost immediately after a heated argument—it didn’t feel earned.
⟡𓂃 ⟡ 𓂃 ⟡🩶 The Plot 🩶⟡𓂃 ⟡ 𓂃 ⟡
There was potential here. The town of Claw Haven had some charming quirks, and the idea of a reluctant magical marriage was cute in theory. But the pacing was off. The first half is mostly bickering, with not much emotional growth, and then suddenly we’re getting spicy scenes out of nowhere. I enjoy spice in romance, but here it felt like it was added just to be spicy—not because the moment called for it. There wasn’t enough of a build-up to justify the shift in tone, and that made the transitions feel jarring.
⟡𓂃 ⟡ 𓂃 ⟡🩶 The Characters 🩶⟡𓂃 ⟡ 𓂃 ⟡
⤷ Luna: I appreciated her background and the glimpses of vulnerability under her spoiled exterior, but she was inconsistent. She went from saying she didn’t like Oliver to suddenly being all over him once she found out her fiancé Hector was fine with an open relationship. It felt too convenient.
⤷ Oliver: Grumpy, broody, and supposedly fighting the bond. But his personality never really clicked for me. He seemed more irritated than conflicted, which made their chemistry feel flat.
⟡𓂃 ⟡ 𓂃 ⟡🩶 Romance & Tone 🩶⟡𓂃 ⟡ 𓂃 ⟡
Enemies-to-lovers can be so satisfying when done right, but here, the development just wasn’t there. There wasn’t enough internal tension or emotional build-up to make their connection believable. It felt like they flipped a switch after a few spicy moments, which made the romance fall flat for me. I didn’t feel the depth, just the convenience.
⟡𓂃 ⟡ 𓂃 ⟡🩶 Conclusion 🩶⟡𓂃 ⟡ 𓂃 ⟡
This book had the right ingredients for a fun monster romance, but for me, it missed the mark. The romance felt rushed, the spice undercut the emotional payoff, and the characters didn’t connect in a way that made me root for them. It might work for readers who love fated mates and don’t mind skipping the emotional groundwork in favor of spice—but personally, I need a bit more to be fully invested.

Unfortunately I had to DNF this book. I couldn’t get past the first 7 chapters. The main characters were very obnoxious and annoying to me. Also wasn’t a fan of her having a fiancé and the whole open relationship is not my cup of tea. I’m sure some readers will enjoy this one but I couldn’t.

There are some cute Hallmark cozy romance vibes, that's a light low stakes read.
Most of the characters are nice and likeable, except Luna, our FMC, she's a tad bit too annoying, almost to the point the author was trying to make her unlikeable.
I'm not fond of the fact that Luna is engaged, and as far as we can tell her fiance seemed like a nice guy. I would much rather her just have been single instead of them throwing in "oh, by the way, it's an open relationship, and it's ok"
Also, you can't be bothered to give the grandma a name? Just have everyone call her grandmother?
There are some inconsistencies, but I'm usually ok to over look those.

💍The first 30% of this book I could not put down! I love a good accidental marriage and combining this trope with a werewolf bonding made me giggle. This was a long drawn out enemies to lovers paired with opposites attract. The grumpiness level of Oliver was top tier but once you read through his POV and discover why he is so grumpy 😭 😭. Our FMC Luna is a spoiled Cali girl who is snowed in in Alaska where she accidentally marries Oliver. While having to wait to undo the bonding, Luna begins to discover herself in this small monster town. Her overall growth was enjoyable to read!
The little things: Although I overall enjoyed this read, Luna's portrayal of how superficial and spoiled she is annoyed me at times. There was a lot of back and forth of being superficial and being real. Luna's relationship with her fiance back in Cali during this accidental bonding also bothered me, but it is more a of me thing not caring for how the relationship was handled. The only other ugh moment was that we had an amazing spice scene early on in the book then I felt like it was crickets/fade to black when I wanted more! Don't hold back !!
If you like paranormal and rom/coms, this would be a great book to add to your shelf!

I think this story was super enjoyable! I had a lot of fun reading it and the fact that the supernatural elements were so integrated into the society was fun. I didn’t love the characters voices and the way they interacted but it wasn’t enough to really discourage me from reading.

This book has grumpy/sunshine (manic pixie), he falls first, monsters, accidental marriage, and an open relationship (not the MC, well kind of but once you read it you’ll know). I really wanted to like it more than I did, part of the reason I didn’t like it is that cheating, even open relationships, is a no for me. Luna was very much the stereotypical manic pixie girl, bubbly, doesn’t take herself to seriously, jumps from thing to thing, downplays her accomplishments, and if you like that, you will like Luna. Oliver is a grouch, a grump, a stick in the mud, and a werewolf who is struggling with a secret that he’s keeping from his family. For a family that practically lives in each other’s pockets, he’s one of the odd men out. I felt this story had a weird dichotomy of being both too fast and too slow. The marriage and the smexy times happened fast, getting to know different characters from the who town also happened fast, the actual storyline slow as molasses I didn’t feel like much happened in the actual storyline, I felt like this book could have been at least 50 pages shorter and nothing would be missed or left out. If Hector was not in the book, Luna’s personality developed into more than just being the “fun girl”, and the storyline tightened up, I would have liked it a lot better.

Such a fun winter romance! Accidentally married to a werewolf and now having no clue what to do about it. Such a great rom com!

Luna is a rich heiress who finds herself stranded in a snowy quiet monster town, Claw Haven. When she goes to an inn and meets the grumpy werewolf owner, Oliver, and they instantly don't hit it off. But things get complicated when she drinks the other half of a werewolf bond elixir and binds herself to Oliver in werewolf matrimony.
Overall I did like this book but I also had my negative critiques about it as much. It was cozy and chill. I liked the humor most of the time for what it is. The monster town sounded very wholesome and I liked it a lot.
I even liked the side characters a lot. Like the Musgrove pack and all their quirky pack members always creating lovable chaos. And the townspeople were so lovable and so small town with how much they were in everyone's business, but it's because they care!
What didn't gel with me much were unfortunately the main characters. I read on because I did like the concept of this book. But I couldn't exactly connect to the main characters too well. Nor did I feel too strong of a connection between them.
The heroine was a bit too too shallow and kind of annoying throughout. She did show some growth by the end but I just wanted to dig a little deeper. Another hang up of me regarding her that I didn't quite get was that she has a fiancé throughout the book. It is revealed early on they have an open relationship so that's why she immediately jumps into bed with Oliver, but I just think the execution or her fiancé in general for the plot was not necessary. Her fiancé was very laid back and really didn't add much.
But overall, this book was (pulling a page from Luna's book) *fun* for what it is. I liked it as much as I didn't like some stuff. It was overall *just okay*.

This was a cozy, Hallmark movie-style read—with monsters and magic! It was cute, fun, and definitely a little cheesy. Luna was spoiled and bratty (honestly, she got on my nerves), but the banter between her and Oliver was entertaining.
The plot felt a bit repetitive and lacked the emotional depth I was hoping for. It wasn’t a personal favorite, but if you're in the mood for something quick, whimsical, and a little cheesy, this one might be for you.

Accidentally Wedded to a Werewolf is a delightful paranormal romance that blends the grumpy/sunshine trope with emotional depth and a touch of magical tension. What begins as a seemingly lighthearted, trope-filled setup quickly reveals a layered story with characters that are far more than they appear.
Luna, who at first seems like a carefree, party-loving heiress, proves to be a hardworking and compassionate heroine with genuine depth. Oliver, the gruff and emotionally guarded werewolf, carries wounds from past betrayal that shape his every interaction. Their dynamic unfolds slowly and authentically, creating a satisfying slow-burn romance—despite a magical bond that hints at insta-love.
The chemistry between the leads is palpable, and the author does an excellent job balancing emotional development with steamy, open-door scenes. The romance feels earned, the pacing works well, and the characters' personal growth adds a welcome layer of realism to the fantasy setting.
Overall, this was an enjoyable and engaging read. I’m looking forward to the official release and highly recommend it to fans of paranormal romance with heart, heat, and well-developed characters.

Thank you NetGalley for this ARC!!
Okay!!! I loved this??? Not going to lie, I requested this because I thought it would just be a silly little read and then I got immediately hooked.
Luna was a fun character to see fleshed out. We get to see her go from fun party girl to someone who genuinely cares about her community and the work she's doing. And Oliver… listen I love a grumpy male lead. And I loved getting to know him and see him slowly open up around Luna and his family before catching himself and closing back up.
The family dynamic in this was adorable. I loved the Musgrove family and how close they all were. I was also so in love with Claw Haven!! Ugh!! I will definitely be reading more of the Claw Haven series when it comes out!!
I do feel Luna's suddenly quick make up with her family felt off, but hey it was a year later in the epilogue so I can't be too upset. I would have loved maybe to touch on that a little bit more, Luna really explaining to her family the work she did in Claw Haven and how important it is to her. Ah but idk, its good without it too.

I wanted to love this but I could not really get through it. It was not for me and I normally like cozy romances, especially paranormal ones! Thank you to Netgalley for this arc ebook in exchange for an honest review.
All opinions expressed are my own.

This one had such a fun premise, but I think I expected more than I got. The vibes were there but the execution just didn’t hit as hard as I hoped. Some of the pacing felt uneven, and I found myself wanting a bit more depth in the character dynamics.
That said, it’s a cute, quick read, and I can definitely see this working for people who want something light, slightly silly, and paranormal with a soft male lead!!

The story starts with Luna getting stuck in a small monster town. The premise is great and Claw Haven could be the setting for other books.
The FMC Luna was extremely unlikable. Her “fiancée” was a real jerk and they were together for 95% of the book. They had an open relationship so it wasn’t technically cheating but the situation was really weird.
I liked the MMC Oliver and his family a lot. He had a big chip on his shoulder that made it hard for him to trust and it was nice seeing his character develop.
I would have enjoyed this book a lot more if the main character wasn’t already in a relationship.
Thank you NetGalley for an ARC

I picked this up fully expecting a hallmark sequel cozy werewolf romance with a bit of spice. While that is basically what I got, I did find they were some confusing parts that I just couldn’t get on board with. From the beginning, I was confused on wether or not the existence of all these monsters was common knowledge to humans or if our main character was a monster too, I eventually figured out she’s human and the existence of monsters is common knowledge to the world, I also didn’t love how the fmc seemed to be so considerate and caring about the town but then randomly is kind of mean and says she doesn’t want to help people? I think maybe it was that way to emphasize her character growth later on, but it just didn’t flow and made her even more unlikable. Overall, I didn’t find it to be the best story but it definitely had some potential.

Okay, this was exactly the kind of chaotic, over-the-top shifter romance I didn’t know I needed. Accidentally wedded to a werewolf?? Say less—I’m in.
This book was hilarious, fast-paced, and totally self-aware in the best way. The chemistry? So fun. The plot? Unhinged in all the right ways. If you’re looking for something light, ridiculous, and full of supernatural romance goodness, this one delivers. Just lean in and enjoy the ride. 🐺💍

I’m not entirely sure what I just read.., there were so many things that should have triggered me, but I didn’t care about these characters much so I was just more confused than anything.

Thank you for sending me the ARC of this book. I have never read this author before and was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this book. It was a feel good romance with loveable main and side characters set in a fun world full of monsters and humans. I could feel the connection between the love interests, the character growth was strong and the humor and cozy feelings held the story together. I kept feeling like the book felt like Gilmore Girls, but set in Alaska. This book felt like a palate cleanser after and just an overall fun read and I will absolutely read more from this author.
