This sweet romance novel comes with an unexpected twist—a love story between a human and a werewolf. While it took me a few chapters to fully get into the story, I quickly found myself drawn in by the vivid, lovable characters. Luna, a carefree party girl, finds herself stranded in an Inn located in a small Alaskan town, owned by a family of werewolves. An accidental bond with Oliver, one of the werewolfs, sets off a chain of fun, emotional, and often hilarious events. The cast of supporting characters adds rich layers to the plot, making the story even more engaging. Although this is outside my usual reading genre, I thoroughly enjoyed the ride and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something a little different and a lot of fun.

I would like to preface my review by saying I don't read romances often.
I was mostly intrigued by how it was set in Alaska and wanted to see how it represented it.

Like I can see where some of the detail were "inspired", but more of like a parallel universe where monsters exist and Alaska is a lot more rural and barren.

As for the main characters the FMC is untearable and even when the author tried to giver reasons to act that way, it just felt fake. Not to the fault of the author for such a short story, but the story build up didn't give her the best light.

The MMC is just broody and just randomly "bares his fangs" at anyone for reasons we will gloss over.

So just the prose and pace of the story makes this read more an effort than enjoyable, and the sex scenes just felt randomly inserted so the next part of the story felt less abrupt.

So not my cup of tea but I can imagine romantasy lovers could enjoy it.

I was so entertained while reading this book! The love story, the town, and the main characters’ growth all created such a great reading experience.

I LOVED this book. As far as cozy, monster romances go, this one absolutely hit the spot. I went into expecting a cute, simple story and it exceeded my expectations! Not only was the growth that both characters went through so refreshing, but the grumpy x sunshine was done so well that I found myself smiling more than once throughout their interactions in the book. I am a sucker for a forced proximity trope and this one was done in a creative way that made it stand out.

Part of me wishes I had waited till the winter time to read this, but honestly the setting was detailed enough that I could easily put myself in a snowy, wintery mindset even in the dead of July.

I could honestly sit here and gush about this book for five more paragraphs. It was so fun and unique. The romance between Luna and Oliver so good and such a slow burn that I couldn’t put the book down because I was dying to see if they would ever get their HEA. All of the secondary characters were also very memorable as well.

Kudos to the author for creating a fun romance story that also has so much depth and heart to it. I loved it.

This book was light and easy to breeze through. The writing was cute but I don’t think it was for me. I didn’t see the point of being in an open relationship while engaged, and the characters got a bit annoying.

FYI, this book was published independently in 2024 and is now being republished by Harlequin.

This was a really cute story, maybe a little too cute for me personally. When Luna is stranded in Claw Haven Alaska the last thing she ever expected was to end up accidentally bonded to Oliver, a grumpy werewolf who just wants everyone to leave him and his inn alone. When their new bond won’t let the unhappy new couple keep their distance, things quickly heat up.

My biggest problem with this book is that Luna, the FMC, is engaged to someone else throughout the whole thing. While her fiancé doesn’t have a problem with her new bond with Oliver, it just felt icky to me personally.

Aside from that one problem, this was a fun, quick read, with good banter and a lot of personal growth in both main characters. This is a good introduction to the Claw Haven series.

~Thank you to the publisher and author for the e-arc on NetGalley. All opinions are my own.~
2.75 stars overall, rounded up to 3.
I requested this arc because the premise sounded fun. The first chapter was a little rough, but as I got used to the author writing style, it became a lot more enjoyable and easier to get into. Overall her writing style was fun and straightforward.
Spoilers
Being accidentally married can be a fun trope. What kept me from fully connecting with these characters was the fact the main character Luna was already engaged. If her fiancé (Hector) had been a horrible person, it would’ve been easier to connect to the budding romance between the two main characters. But the Hector was not a bad person and he seemed to be enjoyable, easy-going and laid-back guy. Even though Luna and Hector had an open relationship. I could not enjoy what was happening between her and the mmc, Oliver.
I did enjoy Claw Haven, it seems like an interesting town. The variety of citizens and the quaint town would make it a great setting for future novels.

This is a sort of fun read that pairs well with a blanket and some tea or coffee. It held my interest and kept me fairly entertained the whole way through.. While it was not my favorite because I didn't like the FMC, I may check out the author's other work.

Cute, cozy werewolf romance with a small town wintery background. If you're in the mood for a book that feels like a warm mug of hot cocoa, look no further!

At times Luna was slightly annoying because of how hard she was trying to be “fun” (and talking about her then-still fiancé, not the MMC, who also annoyed me, but that’s probably because I’m more black cat than golden retriever), but by the end, when she embraced being imperfect and not always “on” for others, I liked her a lot more. I loved her scheming to help fix up the town and get the PR in line to ramp up tourism. That was important to her development and showed the others (looking at you, Uncle Ray) that she wasn’t out to hurt the town or its residents. Overall, pacing was good, the characters had strong voices, and I did not notice any plot holes. It was a good cozy read with alternating POVs.

Ok this was very enjoyable! I love an accident marriage trope and add in grumpy sunshine and it was a hit for me! I think the heroine had some Alexis from schitts creek, vibes.
The only think I really didn’t like that made me pause was the entire storyline with Hector- how it played out and how it dragged on.

I would definitely read another from this author and this series. I liked how it was a world with monstered and they just lived and existed with humans.

Thank you netgalley and the author for the ARC of this book- my opinions are my own!

Super cute concept, and I loved the idea of a monster-safe, inclusive community—it was such a fun world to spend time in. The overall story was entertaining and charming, but I found the romance progression a little too fast for my taste.

It felt odd that the original fiancé didn’t seem to care much that his fiancée ended up magically married to a werewolf—who she very quickly jumps into bed with. I would’ve liked more emotional build-up and tension before the relationship turned physical.

That said, it’s a light, whimsical read with a unique setting and some sweet moments. Definitely enjoyable, but may not be for everyone depending on how much character/relationship development you prefer.

Accidentally Wedded to a Werewolf is a cozy romantasy, reminiscent of a Hallmark movie.

The story introduces Luna, a pampered L.A. heiress accustomed to a life of parties, and Oliver, the next-in-line alpha werewolf with an inability to shift and a crumbling inn. When Luna finds herself snowed in at Claw Haven after a work convention, fate intervenes. Both she and Oliver inadvertently drink a mate-bond potion, accidentally binding them in a werewolf marriage with a bond that prevents them from straying far from each other's side.

This book is perfect for anyone seeking a low stakes, comforting read to curl up with. It has a wide variety of lovable characters and is packed with some of the best romance tropes.

This story is a fun read with some minor issues that I hope will be resolved in the final edit. For example, when Luna first came into Claw Haven, she had no cell service, but right after she Googles hotels and was reading reviews about the inn. These situations pulled me out of the story a bit. Overall, the issues were small enough that the book remains an enjoyable read that I would recommend to fans of the genre.

It was cute.

Small town, forced proximity, enemies to lovers.

I did not like how ''chill'' Hector was about literally everything, but that was the point.

I wish the back story on Oliver's grumpiness was slightly more tragic but it fit the story well.

Spice was definitely there but wasn't too overpowering.

Review:
I loved this book. It was a fresh take on incorporating fantasy creatures into the real world. The FMC and MMC have depth to them and both have a facade they lean very heavily into. Both had character development throughout the book that was brought on by just being in their situation.

Summary:
Luna crashes into Claw Haven, or more accurately the Musgrove Inn sign, on her way to the airport for her wedding. Stuck in town at the inn, Luna, on the first night, takes a drink from a bottle near the party. Unknowingly, she is now bonded and werewolf married to Oliver, one of the owners of the inn.

Now forced to stay in town until the snow melts, Luna and Oliver decided to enjoy the benefits of their relationship, with the blessing of Luna's fiancé as long as its just physical.

Luna plays up the heiress and party girl persona despite wanting to use her marketing degrees and actually work. Oliver is grumpy and has been for a year since the pack had to move after a tragedy.

I would give this book three stars. I thought it was a super *cozy* (haha) read BUT I hated the FMC. Throughout the book I thought that there was going to be some change in her behavior or attitude, or thinking and while there was a subtle shift, it wasn't enough to make me like her. But other than that I thought the idea and the story was pretty great. I just hated her.

I was able to finish this book in one night. So it definitely was entertaining. I just wish that there was a little bit more growth for the female character for me to actually find her a little bit more redeeming than I did.

I am interested to see what some of the other books of this author writes. I do enjoy a paranormal monster romance. I just want to like the main characters.

This is definitely a cozy paranormal romance however I just found the FMC to be insufferable 85% of the book.

A cozy PNR, it’s a fun read. The two main characters felt like they needed a little more emotional connection to each other. Was a little too insta-love for my taste but I would read another book by this author.

The adorable cover is what drew me to this book. I hadn’t heard of it before, but I loved the cover art so I decided to check it out and the synopsis sounded right up my alley.

I will say that I started off thinking the writing could be better, but the more I read, the less I cared or noticed. Reading this book made me feel giddy, it was so cozy and silly and cute. I absolutely love the serious grump x party girl trope, and this book deliverssss. I also loved how close knit the pack was, and how the entire town welcomed Luna (welllll, most of them anyway, lol). It’s a very heartwarming story, and I’d love to read stories of some of the other characters, especially Vi.
