Meryem is twenty five years old, stuck in a job she hates, with co workers she doesn’t like. The commute from work to home sucks up what little time she has for herself. Writing fan fic is her one escape from the drudgery. As the days and months tick by she try’s to find her place in the corporate world while staying true to herself.
This is one of those books that while I really didn’t enjoy it I can tell it’s well written and someone else would absolutely love it. This is just a case of writing style not aligning with reading style. It reads somewhat in the style of a memoir, with bits of her fan fiction sprinkled in. Thank you to @blackiebooks and @netgalley for letting me review #supersaurio

This was a unique book that most 25-40 year old people in the workforce would be able to relate to. I enjoyed the book well enough but it wasn't the greatest writing in my opinion.

Meryem's commute to work takes hours of her day. She is an intern, hoping for a full-time position and a stable paycheck. Her nemesis is her passive-aggressive boss, but a flirtation with one of her other co-workers helps distract her from the daily grind.
This is a fun read for anyone interested in office politics and that feeling of when you are in your early/mid-twenties and anything seems possible, even if you are stuck in an unfulfilling job. Meryem was likable and the office fan fiction was a great touch. 3.5 stars.
Thank you to Harlequin and NetGalley for the opportunity to read a copy.
