I loved this one. Kierse has spent most of her life becoming the best thief she could be. Through brutal training and cruel masters, she has found herself in a complicated situation. After being caught stealing from Graves himself, she's hired to steal something for him. Neither one of them understand just how important this job will be.

While Kierse trains with Graves they realize that they're not so different, and that maybe, just maybe they could find someone to trust in their brutal world. Magic and secrets will either bind them or unravel everything they've worked for. The twists were so unexpected and I couldn't put it down.

I love the vibe this book gives! It’s been awhile since I’ve read a monster book that is this good! I feel like a lot of the fantasy I read now is more batboys and manic based, not so much werewolves and vampires. This story has a great mix of humans, monsters, magic and mystery.
