His too LOVE?

These two couldn’t be more perfect for each other. Will they ever see it? Should friends be more? Is it worth what you already have? This journey to happily ever after was beautiful. The author writing is flawless, and the words are so captivating, the plot had so many twists and turns and none that I was expecting, and many shockingly intimate I have become a huge fan of this author. The author writes with so much intensity and emotion pulled from each book it’s felt page after page. Some are quick witted story lines are so perfect and lets you believe you have a front row seat. So being able to read this love story didn’t disappoint. The authors ability to have two separate individuals struggling in their everyday life and try to navigate someone else’s thoughts, needs and desires was intense and gives all the fills.

Authors Blurb: Avery Yeung's biological clock just went off early. Thanks to her family's medical history, she's running out of time to get knocked up. And the only guy within donating distance? Her overprotective-and irritatingly hot-best friend. So clearly she needs an anonymous donor...
Anonymous donor? Over Sheriff Drew Flannery's dead body. While daddyhood will never be in the cards for a man with his past, Drew won't let Avery shop for a "popsicle pop." He'll do what's right for his best friend by doing his best friend. But only if they do it properly.
But there's nothing "proper" about it. Between the bed, the kitchen counter, and against his squad car, Avery and Drew are having the hottest sex ever. They can't get enough of it-or each other. And without knowing it, they've crossed the one line that could ruin their friendship forever...

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Thanks Netgally for letting me read and review.📚💕

He's gonna do it the old fashioned way.

Drew finally needed the impetus to act on his feelings toward Avery, his BF.
Avery has a limited amount of time to conceive (medical history).
Drew has opinions about how they are going to get pregnant.
Pretty steamy.
I liked that they were already friends.
Purchased.

Who doesn’t love a good friends to lovers? Especially when it is done right! I 100% believed in their friendship before they got to the sexy times which made their transition even better!

Our heroine has a genetic condition that runs in her family which could take away her decision to have children later so she decides to do something about it- have a baby now before the choice is taken away from her. Currently single she decides to get a sperm donor until all of a sudden her best friend starts acting crazy and then he is offering up his sperm.... the natural conception way.

Small town sheriff romance with his best friend? Um yes please! For a shorter book this was perfectly paced and a great lead up of friendship to holy moly some definitely hot moments then those pesky things called feelings! This book was exactly what I needed right now!

Avery Leung has decided that she's going to have a baby, and when she announces it to her friends, everyone's thrilled for her, except her best friend Drew. That is until he decides that he should be the sperm donor, and the two embark on an evolvement of their otherwise very stable relationship. It's fun, cute and easy to read. While it mentions some heavier topics (see content warnings below) the story itself is rather drama free. In typical Katee Robert style it's got a good amount of steam, and two characters who are enjoyable to read about.

Content warnings: death of a parent (off-page), cancer treatment (off-page), alcoholism

Avery’s mother died of cancer, her sister had it and had to have a complete hysterectomy, so she was tested and had the markers for it. Avery wants a baby before she has to have a hysterectomy and tells her best friend, Drew, what she plans to do. Drew is the sheriff and has been Avery’s best friend since grade school. Avery planned to be artificially inseminated when Drew says he’ll be the donor. Drew doesn’t know she has to go to a clinic, he thinks they’ll do it the old fashioned way. Drew has been attracted to Avery but doesn’t want to mess up their friendship. Between Avery and Drew having sex to get her pregnant, they have to try and keep their friendship the same. Or will they screw it up and lose each other?

Smoking hot story. Best friends to lovers. Several grammatical errors. Was a great story.

Enjoyable story - so good I had to go get Alexis' book.

One thing I didn't understand was the family dynamic - I don't know why Avery would allow her grandparents to act like that to her or her sister.Items will not ship

Avery decides to get pregnant due to family health history. She’s not waiting around for a man, but her best friend, Drew, isn’t letting Avery do this alone.

This is a sweet friends to lovers story. I loved Drew and Avery getting to know each other in a new way. There is so much both are dealing with emotionally. It’s definitely not as steamy as most Katee Roberts books Im used to.

I adored this friends to lovers romance! The characters are great. Avery is charming and fun. There were times I wanted to reach into the pages and shake Drew but I couldn't help but love the idiot. There is humor, all kinds of sexiness, and a romance that makes you sigh big. This was my first book of this series and I can't wait to read them all.

This was my first read by Katee Roberts, though I've heard a lot about her. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but this was definitely cute and sweet, plenty steamy though I was just left a bit underwhelmed? I would describe this a good small town, friends to lovers comfort read. It didn't blow my socks off but it was a sweet and fast read.

Drew and Avery grew up as best friends, both having traumatic childhoods and losing their mothers when they were young. Now because of a looming cancer diagnosis, Avery wants a baby. This is the moment that sends Drew over the edge - no way was anyone but him going to be the dad. But he also doesn't want anything to change with their relationship. These two obviously were in love with each other forever and everyone but them knew it. Now they just have to figure it out for themselves.

If you have read anything by Katee Robert before, you know that she writes steamy and sexy romance. Falling for his best friend is another example. If you blush easily, this probably isn't the book for you. As you can tell by the title, this book is about friends who become lovers. The characters are likable and that's all anyone really needs in a book.

I reveived this novel from netgalley and the publicer as an arc . All thoughts and opinions are my own .

Oh what a delightful smutty read. It was quick, fun, and just what I needed after starting the year with some really bad books.

Writing style: easy and to the point, just the way I like my romance writing.

Characters: ooh they were so fun! I would have liked to get a little bit more of a backstory or a bit of a stronger personality, but overall it was very fun to read about Drew and Avery. The extra characters were all super flat, although they did all help the story progress so I'm not complaining too much.

Story: It was fun, quirky, loveable. Nothing special, but who cares? The smut was great, the plot was cute, there was a good balance of happy and sad moments. It was just a good book.

I really enjoyed myself and read this book in one evening so that's a very good sign. It didn't blow me away or anything so I'm gonna give it a steady three stars.
