This book was actually insane in the best way possible. This started out as a really interesting science based book about DNA and your perfect match, but then things escalated about the last 25% and wow I did not see the twist coming! Very fast paced read and very interesting! Will definitely read more by Marrs in the future.

This was a WILD RIDE. The hype surrounding this book is REAL. What if there was a DNA test designed to alert you to your perfect Match? Match Your DNA will tell you exactly who you are destined to be with. We follow five individuals:
• Mandy, a woman whose Match is involved in an accident before she has the chance to meet him;
• Christopher, a man who does not want his Match to uncover his questionable extracurricular activities;
• Jade, an Englishwoman whose Match is located in Australia, and she does not have the funds to travel to meet him;
• Nick, a newly engaged man whose fiancée wishes to take the test as reassurance that they are destined to be together; and
• Ellie, a corporate boss lady who does not have enough time in the day to worry about whether she will ever find her Match.
Full of twists and turns, The One is sure to have you up all night turning its pages. What would you do to find your Match?

The One was an entertaining and fast paced read with an interesting concept. Quite honestly it was a lot darker all around than I anticipated as well.
You follow multiple characters perspectives in alternating chapters and it would occasionally throw me off kilter switching between because it was just so jarring. These characters really went through it over and over again. I truly think the story benefits from having multiple story lines and characters to follow. It kept me interested and on my seat!
I love books that make you ponder and think and this was definitely one of them. It begs the question, how much should we allow technology and science to meddle with our lives or influence our decisions, our paths, our love lives? This was twisty and fun!
Thank you Harlequin Trade Publishing and Hanover Square Press for this ebook via NetGalley! As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own. :)
