Thank you to NetGallery for providing me with a copy of this book to review. I gave this book a 3.75 star rating. The FMC, Kira is a strong and fierce and protecting main character which I loved. She is the kind of character you route for and get the revenge that she clearly deserves. She is protective to ensure her sisters safety bully bringing Dex, to the Bratva. There is more to him that meets the eye and once these two come into contact with each other chaos ensues.

Dex, or also known as Bohdi, is a good MMC, he is this sexy and dangerous man, like you usually find in a mafia romance. Both Kira and Bodhi do have a good banter between them and I liked how the author slowly built their relationship, it isn’t a love at first sight situation which I am not a big fan of. I also liked how Kira stands up for herself especially against Bodhi and does not take his crap! The more you delve into Bodhi’s character you find he is actually a giant marshmallow for the ones he loves. They almost give me black cat and golden retriever vibes in their relationship.

If your into mafia romance, enemies to lovers, he falls first tropes then you will love this book.

There is also spice in this book and I will say did not disappoint, not a lot like other mafia romances but still a good amount.

Would defo recommend anyway to read it, worth the read!

Ok, spiiiicy! I really enjoyed reading the romance plotline between these two main characters. Loved the tension and the dialogue. I am really critical of dialoged that I don't feel is realistic, but this was grand.

I love a baddie FMC and Kira was definitely a baddie. This was an entertaining read, dark but not to dark romance (for my reading experience). I enjoyed this story between Kira and Dex.

In Sweet Chaos, we meet Dex and Kira - one is involved in some bad people business and the other is trying to take it down.

This book was short enough to not feel like it dragged on, but I feel like I was missing details at some points. I did like the reveals at the end, and am curious to see how Finn is handling things in the future.

The spice was definitelyyyy there, and the connection between Dex and Kira almost seemed like instalove.

I was pleasantly surprised by this novel. I haven't read anything by this author before. If you are into a dark mafia romance, this one is for you! Thank you netgalley for the opportunity to read this novel.

I liked this but unfortunately not a favourite, I liked both the main characters and they had good chemistry but their relationship seemed more physical than emotional. There were some good plot twists throughout that kept me entertained and I would definitely read more by the author.

If you’re looking for a hot, chaotic ride with a badass FMC and a lethal, broody hitman, this is it. The tension? Absolutely feral. The forced seduction plot had me locked in. And the way Dex kept twisting the game? He’s the definition of morally gray and I ate it up.

The FMC doesn’t just survive the chaos. She owns it. I loved how she wasn’t just a pawn in the Bratva’s plan but a firestorm in her own right. There were moments where I had to pause and fan myself, not gonna lie. Dangerous men and the women who don’t back down? Yes please.

Would I survive in this world? Absolutely not. Did I love every second of watching her dominate it? Yup.

All the twists happening in this book had me on edge! Kira and Dex are enemies against the same target. Talk about the enemy of my enemy if my friend, more like lover! They both fall for each other hard and fast.
I loved Kira’s strong character and Dex’s hero complex!

Can’t wait to see what happens next!

This book really pulled me in, I loved the mafia romance element, loved the spice, the spicier the better. I was totally drawn in from the start and couldn't put it down

The title of this book is "Sweet Chaos" and it is written by Kimberly Quinn. This book is a dark mafia style with lots of spice included. The female main character was born into and used by the Russian Mafia. The man that she is supposed get ends up being the man she can not stay away from.

While I love dark romance, I really struggled getting into this book. The characters felt distant and the story didn’t seem cohesive. There were a lot of names in the beginning that I needed to keep track of, which was confusing. Throughout the story, it keeps alluding to a secret Kira has, but did not fully go more into this until almost the ending. The pace wasn’t quite what I was expecting either. I didn’t seem to follow the progression of Dex and Kira and couldn’t understand how they quite fell for each other.

I did enjoy some of the writing style of the author. There were moments here and there where I felt it was detailed and flowed. Overall though, I felt the story lacked cohesiveness.

I really enjoyed this book, I think the plot line flowed really well and the characters were all perfectly written in. I personally really loved the MFC.

Dark mafia romance with lots of betrayal, twists, and steamy spice scenes!! Dex and Kira had great chemistry and their relationship did not feel dark or dangerous like most of the other dark mafia romance genre I've read. I love that a book could be dark and mysterious without the relationship being the most traumatic or cringe worthy. This would be a great introduction to dark mafia for a beginner but is also really suspenseful for anyone who loves that trope.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Sweet Chaos, and it was nice to have a female character that was just as unhinged, dangerous, and sultry as the male main character! Sometimes, in dark romance especially, the MMC dominates that field, but Kira and Dex were pretty equal throughout the story.

It had a few twists and turns, and definitely made me want to read the next book (releasing November, 2025) in hopes we get some more background on Kira and how she ended up in the situation they got themselves out of in this book.

I would love to know more about Yelena and her background & what got her into the situation with Nikolai.

Overall, I enjoyed reading it & will be picking up the second book!

This was the first dark mafia romance that I have read and I absolutely loved it! Kira works for the mafia and Dex is a hitman, they are destined to be enemies yet there is an undeniable spark between them. I thought the characters back stories were so well developed and the story definitely makes you feel something for the characters especially towards the end when they struggle internally.

I really enjoyed the twists and surprises throughout the story as we slowly learn more and more about the two main characters. Both main characters have such a dominating personality, so it was fun watching them slowly break down their walls for each other and become more vulnerable which is something neither of them have been able to do due to their lifestyles. I struggled to get into the book, I didn’t find the Dex or Kira interesting. The plot was not moving fast enough for my liking. I disliked Dex a lot of a love interest, I understand it’s a dark mafia romance but I didn’t like the crude things he said to Kira. I did end liking the book towards the end. But the beginning of the book was just a little too hard for me to find it enjoyable.

Really enjoying reading this although the story was a little slow and needed more death of information at times otherwise was a really enjoyable read
