A new Jeffrey Archer, I’m in the queue. Returning to my favourite people, not only the lead police, London finest but also Beth, Artemisia and Peter and they are all together to save London’s Olympic Games. Fast moving and many of the event waiting to destroy the Games were real, maybe not the most dastardly of them but the list the Archer gives at the end were fascinating. The art gallery plays its part as usual and I read it all virtually in one very long flight. The writing is consistently fabulous, the excitement builds and even though we know the answer ( it was London’s Olympics after all) but the enjoyment isn’t diminished by that 10/10 and I’ll be looking for my net one.

Another wonderful JA book with the Warwick’s and Miles Faulkiner in play. I thoroughly enjoyed this as always. JA’s writing styleis smooth and flows well. I will not give anything away, but a lot of reasearch about the London Olympics and what could have happened if terrorism could have taken hold.
I am surprised as to the ending, but thinking there may be a twist that will involve the next novel.
Looking forward to reading more in the future. Highly recommend JA and any of his books. Thankyou Netgalley.
