The author says he is presenting an unbiased, moderate view of our nation and it's issues, but the book itself says otherwise. His descriptions of certain regions in our country very much tells me he's never actually spent any real time in those places. His presentation always skews to one side of the fence...even when he says he's straddling the fence, he's clearly falling off on one side while pointing a finger at the other. Points for effort, but not a book I'd recommend to anyone looking for a good moderate take on both sides.
