Phew, I don’t even know where to start! I’m always into seeing love from different lenses, and this was the first time with a polyamorous relationship. I'm familiar with the concept, and have some friends from my larger friend group in a polycule.

In terms of 🌶️, this one definitely has it. Not only that, but it already alludes to it from the first chapter. And definitely is 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️.

What made it even better was the emotional connection as well. And you can feel it from the beginning. Kudos to the author for enough character development that you knew each of the guys even if you forgot which chapter you were in. I also appreciated the way "coming out " found support and also the very real reality of unsupportive family.

As an IBCLC, I appreciated the nod to breastfeeding with support. I adored Theo’s need to be prepared, even though most of the time he does not come off well. My only negative as someone in the birth field, if Theo read all of that, there would be no way that there would be anything less than the golden hour and delayed bathing. But that's just me nit-picking.

This was a great read, that I could not put down. I really did not expect that. I'm looking forward to more from this author and from this romantic lens.

I got this ARC after the publication date but I still wanted to read it because I was curious to see what it would entail. I am not a huge fan of age gap especially if the younger person is under 25 but I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I will admit the every time the gap was mentioned I did cringe internally but it was not so overbearing that it took that much away from the story. I liked the pacing of this book and that it was not too long to the point I was bored but certain conflicts did feel rushed and the push back wasn't as intense as one may assume it would be such as the reveal of their relationship to their families were glossed over pretty quickly. I did read this in a period of 24 hours so maybe that is why it felt more rushed but I will say it was not bad in any way it was entertaining while I read it and I wanted to see what would happen between all the characters. Grayson , Theo and Bennet were great and I liked the friendship that was established before the main story I also loved Vivian and the fact that she was a librarian and author and cat lover all in one. The mention of booktok was quite crazy actually and the whole golden retriever and alpha thing took me out but that is based on my own preference of not having things like that in my books. thank you for the opportunity to read this book I had a good time.

Wow, what an amazing story, I love all the characters and how they all dealt with the issues they faced. I give the book five stars and would highly recommend this book to everyone, I absolutely loved the book from the beginning till the end.

The premise of this book was the best part of it. Three guys, one girl, and one unborn baby - a fun little romp. I don't know if it was the multiple POV that switched every two pages, or the way these boys talked like the internet come to life, or the way one of them was AWFUL to Vivian and it didn't matter, but none of this did it for me.

I found "Three pucks and a baby" by Kaitie Ashley to be quite enjoyable, it does contain a significant amount of adult content presented in rapid succession. I liked it very much lol.

This book was exactly what I needed after a long and exhausting book series. It’s light, humorous, and not too deep, featuring a sensible almost 30-year-old main character. Although the male leads are all younger and in their final year of college, they get through tough times and find ways to make it work. Some reviews said the characters were sometimes childish or vulgar, and I agree — humor is an important love language for me, and sometimes fart jokes or childish pranks are just part of that. The actions fit the characters, so you should take them as they are. This book was a welcome change for me and delivered exactly what I needed. It has multiple POVs, a reverse age gap, hockey players, a surprise pregnancy, and epilogues that I really enjoyed — I only wish there had been one more epilogue! Overall, it’s a fun, cheeky story that’s guaranteed to put a smile on your face. With three hockey players and the school librarian, let your imagination run wild!

Actually a sweet story with a lot of character growth not just a 30 year old bonking a bunch of students. Fun read, thank you NetGalley for letting me read and review.

This book was okay, just a lot of smut for one sitting! But I enjoyed the characters.
Thank you again for allowing me to read this ad an ARC

I was a bit hesitant before reading this book—it sounded like it covered multiple cliches. But I was very pleased to be wrong. I liked the characters and their relationships with each other as a quad, and one on one. They had depth along with their relationships steam. I’d definitely recommend.

📖 Bookish Thoughts
I’ll never skip out on a why choose hockey romance 😍 and this one didn’t disappoint.

Vivian is a university librarian who’s turning 30 and just wants to feel alive again. She gets a bit more than she bargained for! Like three hot hockey players, a spicy birthday hookup, and a surprise pregnancy. To quote her and her vision board:
“My word for the year was live, and I was living!”

The second half dives into the emotional weight of their relationship. Family fallout, social expectations, and figuring out what it means to do life as a foursome. It wasn’t easy. I do wish we got more of their life after the baby’s arrival, but the ending and the epilogue was cute!

🏒 What You Can Expect:
• Why Choose
• Librarian FMC
• Hockey Romance
• Surprise Pregnancy
• Queer Rep
• Found Family

📖 Final Score: 3.75 stars

Thank you to the author and publisher for giving me access to read this book. Unfortunately, the book was not to my taste due to characters not being believable (in my opinion) and therefore I did not finish it on this occasion. I am giving it a midling star rating due to that.

My expectations for this was a lot of spice, but very little emotional intimacy. What I didn’t expect is for the story to lack flow and chemistry.

I felt no chemistry with the characters, Vivian and Bennett had some chemistry but add in the rushed factor and it didn’t get a chance to be developed properly.

Theo and Benett had chemistry especially due to how well the pining was written at the beginning but again, the book as a whole was rushed and it wasn’t developed.

As for the Grayson and Vivian/ Theo and Vivian combo, it never felt like more than sex to me.

Generally at this point, you can see the book lost me a lot and it had potential to be atleast a 3 star read because it was enjoyable. But I believe it’s one thing to start a story, it’s another to give the story so many elements that you can’t wrap up nicely.

There were a lot of jumps like “2 months later” “2 weeks later” that genuinely saddened me because I would’ve loved to be part of the process that was cut off. An example of that being the couple’s therapy.

Sigh
Thank you NetGalley for the Arc copy.

From the cover and the blurb you go into this book thinking it was going to be a cheesy little rom com, but it is so much more than that.

This book is a well written look at a 4 people learning the ins and outs of becoming a poly couple, as well as overcoming a lot of stigma about their situation.

I loved Viv as a character. She wasn’t afraid to embrace her sexuality and she was mature and written in a way that showed her age instead of saying “she’s 30.” But having her act young.

Each of the male characters develop throughout the book and grow. I loved watching the relationship between them change from teammates and friends to part of a poly couple.

This book was cute and fun. The three guys were absolutely hilarious and I adored the chemistry they had both with Vivian and with each other. Each of them came with a unique backstory and emotional baggage that made them feel real. That said, a few sections felt rushed, and some scenes didn’t add much to the overall plot. The dialogue could’ve used some polish too—better execution there would’ve made the story even more enjoyable. Still, the story was engaging and the spice was good.

A whole lot of smut. It depends on what you’re looking for, but I was hoping for a bit more plot and build up. It just felt a bit too unrealistic.

I received this book as an arc from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Honestly I’ve given this book 2 stars because I liked the premise.

Why choose romances usually work well for me and I always find myself unable to put them down. However this was not one of those books, all the characters seemed very 2 dimensional, and all of the relationships felt very forced through the whole of the book, as if they’re just playing out an act, even when they were all together.

I cannot see myself recommending this book to anyone even if they like ice hockey romances.

I love a reverse harem, it is honestly up there in favorite tropes for me. I VERY much enjoyed this book. The hockey romance too, just absolutely chefs kiss. Anyway I’m a Grayson girly in case you were curious… golden retriever boys >>

Vivian, a academic librarian has a vision board and this year the theme is to Live. When she meets Grayson a senior and hokey player she decides to go out on a date with him. Unbeknowest to her he has his own adgenda. Grayson and Theo, his best friend and roommate and teammate always share a woman during hockey season as part of their supersition. Vivian doesn't want a part of this until she remembers her vision board. On the night they hook up they are also joined by Bennett the third roommate and best friend and team mate of Grayson and Theo's. Now over a month later Vivian finds herself pregant and not knowing who the father is. This is a really funny book that will have you laughing. On the spicy level I would give it a 5 out of 5. I want to thank NetGalley for letting me read a copy of this book.

Well it's a hot and steamy read!
I loved Vivian and Bennett, Theo and Grayson.
Hockey plays and there superstitions..
when Grayson sees Vivian working at the library on campus, she just captured his heart and fit what he and Theo craved in a threesome.. until Bennett comes along and falls for Vivian also.
These guys can get enough of Vivian, until she tells them she is pregnant.
Theo acts like a total jerk which leads to Bennett and Grayson pushing him away.
Through the suggestions of Bennett and Vivian, he seeks some counseling.
it helps the relationship for all 4.
Three guys decide they will all help raise the baby.
Vivian is blown away how they all are better together.
When baby Griffin arrive, it's a sweet moment.
A true story of love.
