I love Diana Palmer's books. I know that many have said she's a little out of date with her stories, but I find her world of alpha males and strong females satisfying. Our friend Rourke has been seen in many series. He's always joking with the heroines of the stories that he's looking for a wife, however, the charming African accented sweet talker with a patch over his eye has always had his eye on the love of his life. The only problem is he thinks she's off-limits because of a lie told to him many years ago, but despite the animosity that lies between the two when she needs him Rourke is always there.

Fans of the Long Tall Texan series this is one story you won't want to miss.
