I have never read anything by this author before so I wasn't sure how this was going to go. I'll start by saying I personally think you should read the other books in the series first. I did not.
There are a lot of characters and info dumping in the prologue that left me very confused feeling like I was starting in the middle of the book and the side characters felt a little flat to me because I hadn't read their stories.
That being said I did enjoy the story once I had placed everyone. I like that it dealt with heavy subjects such as miscarriage, death, alcohol misuse in a sensitive thoughtful way whilst mixing in lighter fun moments.
Also my goodness I was very happy to see Harvey get his comupance. I will certainly be going back to read the other ladies stories.

This felt very juvenile to me but I also hadn’t read the other books preceding it so maybe I would have felt differently otherwise.

After reading the third book in this series, I was really keen to read the next. Although the books are linked, they do work as stand-alone stories, although I think with this forth one, it does help to have read the Puck Stops Here first, as it does set up some of the background for this one.
Second-chance romances are a bit of a mixed bag for me. There has to be a good reason for the romance not to have worked in the first place. Otherwise, who's to say that things will work out this time and there are some people who don't deserve a second chance in any case. Fortunately, for Aiden and Sienna there were some very good reasons for what Aiden did, even if it did break both Sienna and his own heart. There was also the fact that they were very young when they were together before and sometimes, both parts of a couple need to grow up and really become themselves in any case, which they've certainly had a chance to do here.
These books are, for the most part, light hearted and fun reads and I really enjoyed the two that I've read. I really thing that I might have to go back and give books one and two a go as well. Settling the Score was a great conclusion and I really enjoyed it.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own and given voluntarily.

This was a cute quick read.
This is Aiden and Sienna's story.
I had not read the first 3 books, but now will plan to go read the first 3 books. However, I did not feel that this couldn't read as a standalone book. I didn't feel I had missed out on any pertinent information that was integral to this plot.
Sienna and Aiden have not seen each other in 10 years but due to a wedding, they are back in the same atmosphere. By the way, Aiden broke Sienna's heart.
Sienna is out for revenge and wants Aiden to reap what he sowed, so she sets out to now break his heart.
Finally adult conversations about their past start to happen and both Sienna and Aiden begin to have a much more thorough and mature understanding of one another.
Sienna and Aiden have rough backgrounds, and I will admit, it did make feel a bit emotional. So trauma warning - make sure and check triggers. I loved getting to see them together because this book makes you feel for them and want more for them and for them to be happy.
Loved this story. Read it in one sitting.
I can't wait to go back and read the previous books.
The characters are well developed and I loved the supporting characters as well. The found family vibes were strong in this one.
The plot was well-structured and the pace was great.
You will not regret adding this to your summer reading list if you are into a second chance romance, found family, and traumatic past sort of book vibe!
Thank you so much to NetGalley, Boldwood Books, and Clare Connelly for the opportunity to read and review this ARC!
Happy Reading!

I'll preface the review by saying I have not read the other books in the series but I still enjoyed this one as a standalone!

I really enjoyed all the pranks and shenanigans the girls got up to to get back at Aiden. Female friendship groups are so precious, I love to see that in fiction! The Karma Club women clearly cared for each other and worked to make sure every single one of them was happy.

I liked Aiden as a character, he portrayed himself as cold and was insecure when it came to his past and romantic relationships while still coming off as confident and laid back, which worked for an MMC you want to root for. Sienna was a very likeable, hardworking character with lots on her plate. I wish we had gotten to see more of her relationship with her pseudo step-daughter.

The romance lacked tension imo, considering how their breakup went down in the past and how it unfolded with the pregnancy and loss of the baby. The rekindling of their feelings also felt off, it was so sudden, it didn't work well for me. I think Aiden should have grovelled a bit more rather than having side characters repeatedly telling Sienna what she should have been told by Aiden. Too much meddling from the side characters.

The prologue in the book was very confusing with all the name-dropping and the Karma Club women, trying to tell them apart in a 3rd person POV was a struggle. Midway through the book I still couldn’t tell Bella, Paige and their SOs apart or their personalities so I wouldn't say this one worked perfectly as a standalone because it made it feel that the side characters were flat.

Overall, it was an enjoyable read that I wish had been better polished.

I loved the conflict between Aiden and Sienna. You’d think their past would make it impossible for them to reconcile. But, when truths start coming out, watch out! This was a great series. 5 stars!

Thank you netgalley and boldwood books for the arc of this book to give an honest review!

Urgh i LOVED this. It was wrapped up perfectly. I actually read book 3 before 2 and 1 and then decided to re read them all in order before reading this one and i'm so glad i did. It brings the series to an end nicely and its so well written! The pace of the story is perfect. A really good balance of everything!

I felt many emotions whilst reading this. I had watery eyes through this book a little bit! Theres humour, love, hurt, betrayal but it's still so wholesome. I found there was a good balance of emotions in this book. I like to be up and down when reading as it keeps me hooked!

Second chance, ememies to lovers, heartbreak, love and so much more. I'm obsessed. Cannot wait to read more from the author!

Settling the Score is the final installment in The Karma Club collection, and while I’ve really enjoyed the overall concept (a group of women getting sweet, satisfying revenge on their awful exes), I can’t help but feel this was a bit of a missed opportunity.

Each book is written as a standalone and although that can work, I personally got invested in the friend group and really would’ve loved a more connected, cohesive series. We only get tiny glimpses of the other girls and with four different authors across the series, the characters don’t always feel consistent from book to book.

That said, I did enjoy seeing the Karma Club finally tackle their biggest revenge plot, even if we had to wait quite a while for it. There’s something deeply satisfying about seeing these women reclaim their narratives and find love on their own terms. That message, women learning to love again after heartbreak, was my favorite part of the story.

The romance itself was cute, but the “enemies” part of the enemies-to-lovers dynamic felt a bit underdeveloped, since the heat between them reignites almost instantly. The private island setting was fun and breezy.

There were still some lovely moments. I especially appreciated the scene between Astrid (from the previous book) and Sienna (our FMC here). Astrid’s heartfelt speech on her wedding day really stuck with me and definitely made me tear up.

Despite the missed chances, I still had a good time reading this one. It’s an easy, entertaining read with a sprinkle of revenge, romance, and empowerment and that’s always a good combo.

oh i have adored this whole series. i cant believe its coming to an end. can we not carry on. can Clare not write there now forever tales? pretty please?
as you know from this series(or if you dont know go back and get involved real quick) this is a group of girls who all meet broken by their ex's. and they form that bond there and then. but more comes from it when they decide amongst them to be there for each other and go one step further to bring karma to the ex's that have hurt them. each take one.
but as so often is the way especially with love. our gals dont always play ball or rather their hearts done. and so in this book we have a karma club gone wrong from the last book. so our heroin is going to do it herself. shes going to take her power back herself on the man that did it to her.
Sienna and her story was coming and im glad we finally got to see it. her and Aiden's was one ive been waiting for especially. since the previous book.
these books manage to go so much deeper. the stories are all unique but touch the heart well and truly. they are also balanced with such lightening and brightening love. and the fun, wow Clare writes these parts so well. basically im getting my review all in a jumbled because i am in a jumble, stumbling over myself to write all the gushing praise but unable to put them into adequate or remotely clever words.
i love how as a reader we get to see, think and feel what this group is really about. yes, we see the initial getting your own back stance. but it never was, it as about these woman coming together in hurt and finding each other. but also find love, in so many more ways. and learning how to open the heart and love again.
the karma was in not losing hope, friendship or the need to love and support oneself and another. this group gave each of our woman so much. and the healing was gorgeous.oh everything about this book and series was gorgeous.
Sienna and Aiden thank you for stealing my heart and letting me into your heart. thank you Clare for telling this story and writing such a perfect ending to it. i thank authors of such talent every single day. books arent just books. authors give us so much more with their talents. books are never just books. this book was one of those books. ill cherish this series for a long time to come.
i cannot give this book enough stars.

I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to the author, the publisher, Netgalley, for allowing me the privilege of being able to read this incredible book!

Well each book, in this series has dealt with a lot of personal moments that tug at your heart strings, this really got me the most. This was so much more than settling the score. This was raw emotion, that felt so real, as if this time this author was truly drawing from past experiences. If she wasn't my gosh can she make you truly feel Sienna's pain at her past. I'm truly glad each of the girls has finally gotten there karma and their happily ever afters.

If you haven't read the other books in this incredible series you really need too, because everything that happens prior to this book really amplifies what occurs in this book. For a series written by four different authors you would honestly never have noticed. They way they write blends everything so beautifully and you cant not love every single one of them. It was so wonderful to finally have all four of them together for a full book. This book really showed when it said that these books are more than a happily ever after romance, these truly are about finding your soulmate best friends. That is what these stories are really all about and I really loved being able to feel like I was apart of them too! I really truly don't know what to say about this book other that I loved it wholeheartedly and I'm so grateful for this series.

My only issue is that I need them to come together with some kind of novella with chapters written by each with the characters all together in the future showing what there lives become and all that they get up too!

Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart for writing this fantastic book, and finishing off this wonderful series with your incredible author friends. The Karma Club series will forever steal my heart!

A sad end to the karma club. This series was brilliant.
It had all the humour and sass and girl attitude. I loved it.

I have been obsessed with the karma club and all the girls and I was really looking forward to this book to see how siennas story would end. I am so happy her and Aiden made amends and both got their happy ever after

I absolutely loved this series and am sad to see it come to an end. There's something so fun about different authors coming together and each writing a book within a shared storyline—it adds a little flavor to the whole experience.

This final installment was definitely my favorite. It had everything: humor, friendship, and emotional trauma that hit hard. Sienna and Aiden were high school sweethearts who dreamed of forever, but life took them in different directions. Aiden left to chase his hockey career and eventually went pro—but not before cutting ties with Sienna, telling her they needed a clean break with no contact. That heartbreak lingered with her for eleven years, and now, she's ready for some sweet revenge.

Enter the Karma Club—a group formed spontaneously at an airport by four strangers, all determined to get revenge on their exes. The plan? Each woman would try to win over another's ex and exact a little karmic justice. But when it came to Sienna, the club had something else in mind. They knew she wasn’t over Aiden—by reuniting them at one of the other group member’s weddings.

Get ready for a tropical island adventure filled with heart, heat, and a dash of mischief. If you're anything like me, you’ll be wishing there were more books to come from this series.

This book is the last in the series of the Karma Club. The book was easy to read and the main characters had chemistry. It was easily the most emotional of the series and a really great read.

Thanks to Boldwood Books for the widget. The way that I read thru this because the best story was saved for last was crazy. Sienna (FMC) part of the Karma Club with Astrid, Paige, and Bella gets to get revenge on her ex Aiden (MMC) IRL This book was so smooth it was a little deeper than the other books the pranks were still funny but it had a different tone that just made sense given the history of Sienna and Aiden. I cried and I laughed but I enjoyed this book so much and Sienna's story was the perfect of the Karma Club. Of four found friends who became soulmates I love this when friendship takes over everything else in a book.

The conclusion of the Karma Club series. This time the tables are turned and Sienna is trying to get revenge on Aiden herself. But a week on an exotic island with him, ends up being harder for her than she thought. Obvs they end up together again after a lot of stuff happening. It’s a completely okay book and series. What really bothered me most about this entire series was that three characters are British and the rest American, but it’s not really written as if they’re American. They use very British phrases and terms constantly, it’s just lazy writing or editing.

After reading the third book, I was SO excited for Sienna and Aiden. I do love a second chance romance. And honestly, the whole thing was ✨chef's kiss✨. A couple of little details bothered me, but I was so enraptured in Sienna and Aiden's story that I ended up completely forgetting about those details.

This book made me feel so many emotions. Many difficult topics are covered in this story and I found myself tearing up a couple times (okay, more than a couple times). I loved how Sienna and Aiden unpacked everything. It felt so raw, so vulnerable, so emotional and so very real. Both MC had so much depth and so much complexity. I think it was beautifully written and felt very relatable.

It was funny, it was emotional, it was vulnerable, it was healing. I love the Karma Club (and the found family) and I am so sad it is over!!

Thank you Netgalley for an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest opinion 🫶🏽

Wow I really enjoyed this series of books. They flowed beautifully along side one another, there were no gaps or contractions they fitted perfectly together like a jigsaw.

This was the last part of the jigsaw and tied everything up beautifully. The characters were warm, with emotions and internal conflict that is recognisable to us all. The book (if fact all the books in the series) pull you in, make you care for the characters, making you laugh a lot. Another story that reminds us of the importance of having strong women who will hold you up and always have your back is. A great read.

4 ⭐️ Settling The Score by: Clare Connelly is Publishing July 24, 2025 with Boldwood Books

Another of the series with the Karma Club. Unlike the others I’ve read so far this one was less witty and for some reason more sad. I felt kind of melancholy for most of it. That’s not to say it was bad in comparison to others, only different and understandably so given some of the factors and topics within it. A lot more emotional and trauma processing between the MMC and FMC. This story also has some spicy scenes between them. I did enjoy some more about the others from the previous books in the series and what happens to Harvey. It was a nice an edition but Astrid and Blake were my favourite characters.

Thank you NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the opportunity to read before publishing and shares my honest thoughts.

I AM SO SAD THIS SERIES IS OVER!

Clare has perfectly wrapped up this series with Settling The Score and it was just perfect.

This one was more emotionally driven than the others given the backstory of our FMC Sienna & MC Aiden. I definitely had some teary eyes during a few parts, but their journey is what made this book so beautiful. Their story has loss, hurt, betrayal but a whole lot of heart, love & hope.

To our Karma Club Queens - Bella, Paige, Astrid & Sienna, you are what the ultimate sisterhood looks like! 🫶

Thank you Boldwood Books and NetGalley for the gifted copy 💕
