Filthy Rich Fae: Fallen Court is a gripping, fast-paced fantasy romance that builds on the intrigue and passion of the first book. Geneva Lee delivers a rich world of deadly fae politics, simmering romance, and high stakes. The characters are compelling, especially the tension between the leads, and the story keeps you hooked with twists and emotional depth. With vivid writing and just the right amount of drama, this sequel satisfies and leaves you eager for more.

I got an excerpt of this book, the first few chapters. As the book started I throughly enjoyed the excerpt that I received that I swiftly went out and bought the book to carry on ready. I really love Geneva Lee’s style of writing and this is no exception to that. It is beautifully and I loved every part of it.

I loved this book! I wasn't sure where the plot was going to go but I was interested the entire time. I am usually one to spot the twist a mile away but I only guessed one of the twists and the other people completely surprised me. I'm looking forward to the third book and will definitely be continuing this series.

Unfortunately I have decided to DNF this one, it wasn't for me.
I will continue to check for future books from this author as I like to give author's a second chance and I won't be put off from DNF this one for my future reads.

I wish I could say I liked this, because I loved the first book, but it just did not land. Hopefully there is some redemption once I read the full novel.

I enjoyed it. Story not finished yet. Need to read the next one. So much happened and lots of twists going on. Recommend if you like Vampire Diaries and Twilight.

This book took me on a lot of twists in my enjoyment of the story. I had extremely high expectations coming off of the first book which was a solid 5/5 for me. I loved it so much that I preordered Fallen Court the second it showed up in retailer webpages. I then suffered through watching my preorder get canceled as the release date changed. Once it became available again I re-preordered and was so lucky to get a digital ARC!! I went back and reread Filthy Rich Fae to have a full recollection of where the cliffhanger left off, and loved it just as much as the first time.

And Fallen Court was GOOD…for the first 40% anyhow. Then the world building intensified and all of the other species were brought in and then every type of species was referred to as covens (I thought that was a witch only term?). Then there were ex lovers from other series that made me wonder if it would be a better storyline if I knew the back story…. And then a somewhat small slight had Cate mad at Loch, but the actions didn’t seem quite worthy of the extreme anger or distance (so it felt like drama for the sake of drama) and THEN they wanted to get married and act like their relationship had been through the types of trials that you absolutely must have years to have experienced. It just cheapened the story so much because they had only even been together like 6 weeks?

Fated mates for eternity at a few weeks—I can buy that! The relationship has been weathered and tested and they should be married because of what they have been through together? No. I draw the line there. Marry because you’re mates, not because you’ve stood the test of time (like all month-long of it!). So the book seriously swerved into 3/5 territory because if you’re writing romance, don’t cheapen actual romance. We can buy the idea of fated mates finding each other across time and space but not that they think they’ve overcome life’s actual curves in weeks.

Alright, so I was just about to give up on the book and around 90% it got good again! Now we’ve got betrayal, new discoveries, life and death situations. Other relationships are developing and it’s not all drama and sex (and I do love drama and sex, but I just felt it was all drama and their only connection was sex and that was kinda boring).

The plus side is the last 10% brought the book back to life for me and I’m absolutely all in again. I can’t wait for book 3!

Filthy Rich Fae is a dark, seductive plunge into a world where fae royalty rules New Orleans’s criminal underworld. Geneva Lee blends sharp banter, morally gray romance, and immersive worldbuilding into a fast-paced fantasy that doesn’t let up. Cate is a gritty, resilient heroine, and Lachlan Gage is the kind of dangerous fae prince who keeps you guessing—and swooning. The enemies-to-lovers tension crackles, the stakes are high, and the magic is as deadly as it is alluring. If you like your romantasy with bite, blood bargains, and a heroine who doesn’t flinch, this one delivers.

This is NOT the type of edging I prefer to indulge in. This little snippet went by way too quickly, I need more! I've already purchased book one and am sat for the series.

Thank you to NetGalley, Geneva Lee, and Entangled Publishing for this TEASE.

Why am I so obsessed with the Filthy Rich Fae series? I think it's because it's an easier fantasy world to get into. #gifted by @entangled_publishing

The series is set in New Orleans, but has another realm below. It allows anyone to dive in with an understanding of the terrain, and then the fantasy elements can be folded over the human world.

But this one isn't for the faint of heart. It's a steamy series with trigger warnings aplenty and a love story that is like ACOTAR meets Fifty Shades.

I can't get over the cliffhanger at the end. I'm dying to get onto book 3 and I might even need to go back and read Filthy Rich Vampires to get my fix before the next book comes out.

I am grateful to be able to preview the first chapter of Filthy Fae: Fallen Court, and let me tell you, this urban fantasy is face-paced, well-written, and has you wanting more! I liked the almost noir feeling of the story and am curious to see where the plot heads next. I would love to continue reading this book and will plan to read it in its entirety.
